Hey, I'm new around here..

Here's my portfolio: https://linktr.ee/zhav
Discord: zh.av
Telegram: @zhavier

About me:
  • I prefer equal rev share proportional to the number of persons on a team - but I'm open to negotiation depending on what the other parties bring to the table
  • Weekly I can give at least 30 hours - and willing to do 60+ hour weeks
  • I started using Unity in 2012, trying to make MMOs
  • I've been a full-time Unity programmer on my own projects since 2018
  • I love building multiplayer experiences
  • I don't believe in building everything from scratch, but instead picking the right tool for the exact problem at hand --> I've probably spent a few thousand dollars on the Unity Assetstore over the years, simply out of convenience, but the time I saved was far more valuable than the money I've spent

What I can do:
  • Manage the Unity Project: Setup the Unity project, setup version control, purchase and implement assets, etc.
  • Gameplay: I only have notable experience building real-time action games and first/third-person shooters, so it'll take some time for me to adjust to new genres
  • 3D Preference, but open to 2D, Isometric, VR, etc.
  • Multiplayer: Co-op, dedicated servers, client-hosted, WebSockets, etc.
  • User experience and design: Not just user experience in gameplay, but also layouts for UIs (I have some Photoshop, Animate, and Illustrator experience)
  • Full stack web development (including building my own backends for my games)
  • Business: Registering a company, dealing with IRS legal mumbo jumbo, reaching out to other companies, etc.
  • Open to Gambling / NFTs / NSFW / etc.

Hey!   I own https://johnnycab.ca (remember the original Total Recall?) <-- nothing on that domain atm

Across Canada there are thousands of smaller communities that have local taxi companies that are less than reputable.   The Uber platform helped fight corruption, but Uber requires a minimum population to operate in.

I was thinking of writing an uber type clone, which we can then offer to anyone who wants to start up an honest taxi system.  Any town that does not have Uber can still benefit from the tracking technology.
