There is boy in my compound and he happened to be my neighbour and he is an chronic gambler. He won 100$ on the 2 of January 2024 this year on the 3rd of the same month, he won 160$ and on the 5 of the same month, he won 80$ but before this guy started winning these amounts, he has lost more than $400 in this year.

So that often win does not go well with some gamblers. And for me I don't win often but I win seasonal.

That's right, that one person's victory is another member's defeat , I've also heard of such a turnover of money, but if you continue to lose it is a risk, the scenario continues to be random even though in the end the dev remains safe (getting income from members) and the transfer of balances between members is not directly realized. I totally agree with your thinking. indeed gambling does not promise to get money in a short time. most of the real gambling players are just for fun and they only spend a small portion of their money. meaning that the real gamblers no longer think about winning or losing because in addition to small money, they already get satisfaction when playing gambling.

You are right, we must know our limits. That way we can be a responsible gambler. IMO, putting a budget is the right thing to do, and when all of that is gone, take the rest. We must also preserve our health because once we continue because of revenge (chasing losses) then it gets stressful. I don't think we want that because next to it will be a lot of different bad health condition like constipation, headaches, and more.
