Buying crypto for less than $1?

Is there an exchange or service where I can buy crypto with less than $1? As far as I know, Coinbase is the only exchange with a minimum purchase of $1. But I'd like to spend cents on inexpensive cryptocurrencies such as Dogecoin and Shiba Inu for DCA.

Is this possible? Please let me know where I can do this. Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I guess $1 is the standard among all the centralized exchanges for placing minimum purchase orders because I have checked a few like Kraken, crypto.com, bybit, and coinbase so that is actually the minimum amount you can buy irrespective of the crypto unless you do f2f trade.

I think Gate.io allows for buys from 1$ and above. I have bought some tokens in there for about that price.
I was actually shocked to know that I could buy a token for a dollar, I thought the minimum buy is $10 just as binance makes it seem but I later realised that other exchangers allows for less than that but I only know about gate.io for buys from $1

No idea with exchanges that allows that because the others have already mentioned it. Maybe this can do good with P2P through the forum, yes that amount is quite low but who knows if someone's willing to do that trade on you.

And since you want to have doge or shiba inu, I guess the transfer fees won't be a problem but how about your payment? Definitely not doable with a Bitcoin.

By "f2f trade" do you mean "P2P trade"? It's true that there are no centralized exchanges with a minimum order of less than $1. It could be a result of high network fees from most popular cryptocurrencies. Coins with dirt-cheap fees like XRP and SOL can be traded for less than a dollar, though. It would've been great to invest in these coins with spare money just like you would do with stocks. Maybe someday, right?

It's just like Coinbase, and Kraken. They have a minimum buy order of $1. Nothing less than that. A pity, because this would've allowed us to make microinvestments for long-term profits. Sort of like how it's done with penny stocks these days. Maybe high network fees have something to do with this?

are you sure to spend meme coins for DCA? in this case it must be a long-term investment. shouldn't you choose a better altcoin in terms of fundamentals and so on?
The exchange sets a trading/purchase limit for sure to increase the market cap of the coin.

Good point. I guess that's why exchanges don't accept anything less than a dollar for crypto purchases. Between network fees and maker/taker fees, it would be impossible to buy crypto with "spare change". It seems that my only option would be to buy crypto in-person (face to face like you've said). "Meme" coins are usually inexpensive, but they also come with a lot of risks. Since it's "spare change", I'm not worried of losing everything in an instant.

If I hit the jackpot with another "pump" like the one Dogecoin experienced back in 2021, I'd use the profits to buy more Bitcoin. Rinse and repeat.
