Gambling as entertainment shouldn't have any limit as entertainment is for all age, the only thing you can start considering as you get older is how your gambling time is affecting everyone else. Not all individuals will be comfortable with you spending so much time gambling while they're in your life.

You wife will need some of that time and your children will also need some time been spend together socializing. Legally in most countries where gambling is allowed, the only restrictions that's been placed on age is with what age allowed to start gambling beyond which there's no limit to when such persons are ment to stop gambling, invariably they can literally gamble till old age or whenever they choose to retire as such isn't regulated.

Because there's no regulations attached to such you see that most persons gamble and don't retire from gambling provided they still have the funds to sponsor their gambling habit, they only stop when they are sick or probably bankrupt. It depends because we cant really be able to tell if that man is a rich one or an average old person on which you would really be able to observe it out on how big he make those bets.
