Jakarta Update Available Now!

We are announcing the release of the Jakarta update v1.1.1, which is now ready for download. This important update addresses the recently identified issue affecting the reward distribution system and strengthens the overall security of our blockchain.

Highlights of the Jakarta Update v1.1.1:

Zero-Bonding Issue Addressed: We are implementing a critical update to mitigate a zero-bonding vulnerability that was exploited recently. This update will fortify our defenses and prevent such exploits from occurring in the future.

Implementation Schedule: The update is set to be applied at block height 740,000, which is projected to occur approximately 28 hours from this announcement, ensuring a seamless integration.

Updated Security Protocols: Jakarta will discontinues support for connections from nodes operating on versions 1.0.2 or earlier, thereby enhancing network security.

Mandatory Update for Validators: All validators are required to immediately upgrade their nodes to the Jakarta v1.1.1 version to maintain the integrity and stability of their nodes and the overall network.

We want to address a serious issue that has impacted our reward distribution system and outline the steps we are taking to ensure the integrity of our network.

Exploit Discovery:
Recently, a vulnerability was exploited by unauthorized parties, disrupting the normal allocation of rewards and affecting how rewards were distributed to our users.

Initial Response & Escalation:
Upon discovering the exploit, we quickly developed and implemented a patch to mitigate these disruptions. However, the attackers escalated their efforts with spam attacks, contributing to network lag. Our team responded promptly to these aggressive tactics to protect your interests.

Investigation & Enforcement:
We conducted a thorough investigation to identify all accounts involved in this incident. We will be banning these accounts and freezing any associated assets. If your address is on this list and you believe this to be a mistake, please contact @ace2go immediately.
