What's Happening:

Attackers have flooded the Pactus network with spam transactions, clogging the transaction pool and slowing down legitimate transactions. Our team has been working tirelessly to address this, and we have a solution ready for you.

Our Solution:

We've released an update (v1.1.5) that includes a rate limit to regain control over the overflow of P2P messages. This will help restore normal network operation while we continue to develop additional security measures.

The Pactus network relies on reliable validators. This new minimum score ensures that only the most consistently available nodes can propose blocks and earn rewards, enhancing network security and overall performance.

What Does This Mean for You?

Rewards: If your node's Availability Score falls below 0.666667, you won't be eligible to propose blocks and earn rewards.
Uptime: Prioritize keeping your node online and active to maintain a high Availability Score.

I think you may be confusing Pactus and PacViewer with something else. We have 0 affiliation with Irfan Viewer. PacViewer is a blockchain explorer to view transactions on our chain not to edit photos.
