PIP-33: Lock Account Address (In Discussion)  🔒

Hey Pactus fam!

We are actively discussing PIP-33, a new proposal that introduces the "Lock Account Address." This feature is designed to give users a mechanism to lock their assets for a specified period, helping promote better financial management.

The Lock Account Address will enable a unique type of transaction called a "Lock Transaction," which combines bonding and unbonding based on specific time parameters. This allows both the project and users to secure their funds for set periods, with the ability to withdraw portions of their assets as they unlock over time. PIP-33 provides an alternative to PIP-32 and offers another solution for managing the unlocked reserve coins.  🔐

Latest TPS Test Results: 100 TPS Achieved! 🚀

Hey Pactus fam!

We are excited to share the latest results from our latest TPS (Transactions Per Second) tests. During the test, our network successfully processed 1000 transactions per block, resulting in a steady 100 TPS with a 10-second TTF (Time To Finality).

This performance is available starting from Pactus v1.5 and above, delivering lightning-fast transactions and smooth performance—no lags, no issues. While we're thrilled with this result, there’s potential for further optimization in the future as we continue to refine the network.  ⚙️
