Everyone has his own tendencies depending on his upbringing and beliefs system. Their are people that are born rich and  whose parent instilled in them good morals that never had any issue coping with wealth and so regardless of the money, power or sexual privileges that comes their way, they don't easily get moved by it.

Power and vices like the ones you pointed out mostly affect those that have not had it before and that have been craving for such privileges secretly without anyone knowing it, ones they get opportunity to access those privileges, people might feel that they have changed become of money or power not knowing that it is the inability to funding their desire that made them look calm.

I know power and money comes with it own spirit and that if you are not careful, regardless of your belief system or standard of upbringing, it would throw you off your feet but their are people that will stand their ground regardless of the privileges you present to them because of what they believe in.

When someone is not honest in their doing, no strong moral principles governing them in life, they can be easily influenced by those 3 factors you mentioned.

To an extent, I may seem to agree with your ascertions, but to a very large extent, I may like to disagree too. Saying this means that I believe there's no generality in what you said. Sometimes, people become tempted to power and as such they go into things they never thought they could through the influence of others. Another reason why I been talk say I go disagree with you be say, there's what we call; SYSTEMIC CORRUPTION or in another words, ENDEMIC CORRUPTION, and that's the kind of corruption that happens within the weak system of an organization. Most of these corruptions take place in the public sector rather than the private sector.

In the kind of corruption, it is like a cabal or cartel system where it runs through ranks of the organization in an organized manner mostly orchestrated by the top officials or the government in itself to loot out funds from the organization. You don't need to have intentions to be corrupt before you're drawn into it, especially when you get promoted to such ranks. Your points seems to be correct but also, it cannot not be truly correct because we humans are different and have  different notions towards different things. Not everyone is corrupt and been given power does not mean it will show your true colors of being a corrupt person. Power is not a source of generating wealth, and those that generate wealth through power they have can be called corrupt leaders. Some people don’t look like corrupt individuals but when given power they show their true self, this is true for some people and also false for some people. Money, power and sex cannot ascertain the type of person one is, your true nature will prevail one day with or without that.

And why power is sweet because he was using the power to do what was not good to himself and government use power to cover themselves and steal public funds.
