On Coingecko, you can see the lists of derivative exchanges: https://www.coingecko.com/en/exchanges/derivatives

You can look for the ones that are still allowed in Canada and make more research about it.

I used to do trading on bybit and bitmex, but both have banned Canadian user.
Not that these exchanges banned Canadian users but Canadian regulations has been what that forced the exchanges out of Canada.

Your country most restrict such as United State but there are have allow to trade trough Binance US, I think if there are not any option for trading trough CEX exchange have been banned for user come from Canada you have one option left with trading on DEX exchange. Its difficult position if exchange get restrict from government but I think you can find any exchange not required for KYC and trade there because can't detected where the user come from.

I used to do trading on bybit and bitmex, but both have banned Canadian user.
Ii don't think both exchange banned the user from Canadian but regarding with your government regulation only not allowed for using both exchange to trade or possibility your government banned with bitcoin as investment assets and for Canadian can trade cryptocurrency in any exchange yet.

There are many exchanges that have a similar concept such as bybit and bitmex and can be suitable for everyone too, but if you yourself are very comfortable with the bybit and bitmex exchanges, but cannot open access to them comfortably enough at this time. I think you need a browser called TOR or a VPN extension for the browser you usually use when opening these two exchanges, because that is not an obstacle for you to stop. Moreover, in general there are also many other options that are almost similar to Bybit and Bitmex themselves

Tor or VPN extension? On centralized exchanges. If he uses Tor or VPN, his account will later be blocked and the evidence that he is visiting the exchanges from the country allowed would be requested by the exchange.

Name the exchangs. That is what OP is asking of.

Oh what if Im from another country and visit Canada for a tour. When I open the app would I allow to login on these exchanges? Im asking cause I might planning to have there a vacation somewhere in the q3 to visit someone. Or should I use VPn in order to access it? Thanks in advance. Or if anyone in Canada now, what are you doing to have access on these exchanges?

I am not saying that it it okay to use to VPN to access centralized exchanges that have restricted access placed on them by the government of any country but what I discovered is that when I looked this up, there were many reputable and notable websites out there that recommended a couple of VPNs to use to bypass these restrictions. You seem to have more knowledge on this so may I ask you if you think that these VPNs they recommend would be strong or powerful enough to bypass them? See an example of this article from Forbes on best VPN For Binance in 2024

I think the best is to contact their customer care and ask them what to do. But I noticed that if I put the VPN connection of the country the exchange is not restricted, there has been no problem. Connecting with VPN is not common but only when I forget to off the VPN. Only restricted countries VPN connection that will pop up a warning on the exchange. If the VPN connection is not the one for restricted countries, no short term issues, but if using it for a long time, I do not know what would happen.

I am not saying that it it okay to use to VPN to access centralized exchanges that have restricted access placed on them by the government of any country but what I discovered is that when I looked this up, there were many reputable and notable websites out there that recommended a couple of VPNs to use to bypass these restrictions. I do not know. But on exchanges that are requiring KYC, it can be known from the identity document that someone is from a restricted country. I do not know much about those exchanges that will require no KYC. But the exchange terms and conditions must be fully read for the exchange user not to fall victim of withdraw issue. But generally I will not advise people to use VPN. As for Tor, the connection would be blocked in a way you will not be able to access the exchange.

Similar thing has been asked on r/BitcoinCA -- a local crypto subreddit for Canada -- so I suggest taking a look at them as well.

1. Bitcoin (BTC): Margin / Leverage Trading platforms that work in Canada?
2. Crypto Derivatives?
3. Recommended Futures Platform

I insist to not blind trust anything though. Do the usual background checks and weigh in the risk specially on lesser known exchanges.

If I am in your shoes, I would just use a paid VPN service that is directed to the IP address of my Country of origin just for the case of consistency, but I think accessing the app using any IP address of any country that is not banned should be OK. The problem is when security measures get triggered due to a sudden change of log in IP addresses.

since i'm not a canadian, i don't know what exchanges support leveraged trading in canada. but you should be able to use vpn on binance and trade from there, there should be no problem with that. then if you want to withdraw to your wallet, you can do it to an exchange that is supported in canada. tricks like this have been used by many traders who are hampered by regional restrictions, but still want to trade crypto.

It is bad advice to use the Binance exchange for residents of Canada, because this exchange prohibits citizens of this country from trading on the Binance. Using a VPN will not help, since it is mandatory to pass KYC on Binance, which will be impossible for citizens of this country to do.

I'm not from Canada op but these are the crypto exchanges I gathered that you can use in your country in the following I will say below:

1. Bitbuy
2. Coinsquare
3. Bitcoin Well
4. Uniswap
5. Bull Bitcoin
6. Localcoin
7. Beaver Bitcoin

I hope these things helped you, or it's up to you which one is more convenient for you to use, good luck...
