So many of these people Dem dey amongst the earlier men wey still help fight for we Localboard. And just as you talk am, I dey see other Localboard wey some senior men dey, Dem dey always dey active for there pass general boards. I no wan deviate go merit matter but. If you notice other board, you go see say even as them get merit source no be d merit source dey share merit for Dem. These members dey recognize the good work of them fellow people and show appreciation in anyway Dem fit take run am. But no be so e be for we board. I no fit tell people how Dem go take dey share Dem smerits but if at all, we no get merit source, Make Una still try dey give the merit out when Una come across better post. If newbies see post wey e mate make and see say Dem pack merit give am, next time e go try harder do better one.

Thank you as you don raise this salient point for here today. Many of our odogwus them no green put body for the local board again o and e never too tey wey I observe same them no they too put efforts to create compelling threads that will solve real-time problems that affect many of our Naija guys for this platform. I know say tho so local board no be for just talking about life for here alone but our bosses them fit use am communicate solutions to problems that people are not acquainted to.

Them get some English when gurus (genius) for the forum they use for other technical boards to interact with the audience but yet we they find am very difficult to understand. Selecting from the best and translating it for us in the manner that we will understand with others.

And yes, no reason am, you no they rude and na true talk you yarn there. In as much as they encourage the newbies to be active in the local board, e no suppose be like house wey they run by newbies alone. Them suppose they help us dish out knowledge wey go help us grow.

Actually I think their signature campaign wey Dem join sef still follow, you know say some campaign one of the rule na be say make you post maximum of 5 post for local board that one na if you wan post for there sef, while few say local board post no dey valid, so no body like stress. And  aside that, we get life outside this forum, so that time management no dey let some persons do wattin Dem supposed do for we local board. Wetting me I observed wey make them no dey like come local board na because of the following reasons:
1. Lack of coordination for the forum, since dem never bring sub board e dey hard for some to come coment. Because they see say alot of shitpost dey here.

2. Many people always get more advantage outside our local board pass the local board.

3. Some na pride too, say dem too big to come dey follow all this newbies dey talk. Forgetting say you fit teach newbies something and get rewarded for that by merit.

4. Another one na the type of campaign wey dem dey do just like as @makus said. Person wey get 20 post per week him go wan use 5slot him get to toch round the forum, and e fit be say na only 1 coment him go drop for the local board and e fit no dey noticable.  And the reason why the local board even they more active na because of the campaign wey oga brainboss dey manage wey give people the privilege to make 60 post and people fit nak 7 post for local board a day and e never dey for other places. So Naim make you see say this local Bor even dey active like This.

5. Some people also hate the Name Nigeria and possibly find am hard to associate with the fellow Nigerians. The only thing wey even drag some of them come na weekly review by Hugeblack + Brainboss local board weekly merit review (no posting on thread) and also the thread by hugblack  [Merit] Help posts in local boards that did not receive enough merits if not you no go even see them here. na this few things I notice.

then for the merit distribution, most senior member they always talk say the rank wey dem reach today no be for local board, but for outside board. so given merit to people wey dey here be like to encourage them not to hustle outside but only depend on local board for rank up, Naim make them Lock Up. My broda i respect the opinion of all those seniour men but no be enough reason to abandon the LB. Yes, defintley i understand say if dey dey involve themselve for some kind shitpost e go reduce the quality of their entire post history and if person say make him go review that profile na so so off topic discussions go they there. Dis na why most of them stop to associate hear. Those that have taken it a consideration to appear here have nothing to loose neither those that didn't show up as long as they are active online and are making quality contributions, the reason for having a local board is just to have members who find it difficult to comprehend speaking or hearing English language have no language barrier for them to be able to express themselves on the forum in making their quality contributions, so if someone is fine and good with English language, there may be no need of expressing their interest on LB except they wish, moreover not everyone like that kind of personal interactions with other members, while some are just ok with English language.

Well, to me some of the reasons wey make some people wey from Nigeria wey no wan make contributions or associate themselves for anything concerning our local board is:
(1) because of anonymity;- some of us for here no just like to be identified by our country when we enter the general board dey give opinion or dey create thread naim make wey some people no dey involved themselves for Local Board discussion.
(2) Pride:- some people wey from Nigeria wey no wan identify themselves wit the local board na due to say Dem feel too big say their level high pass people wey dey the local board that's y Dem no dey come make post or contributions for the local board. On this note, i want to commend two legendary who have been consistent in our Local Board as regardless of their ranks dey always make out time for members in the local board, legendary like @Charles-tim and cryptoprenuerBrainboss and some others too but to me na this two people carry dia selves down pass for the local board and i commend dem for their individual contributions to the well-being of the local board.
(3) shit post, off topics, low quality post, threads not related to bitcoin discussion - as we all know that most of the threads created in our local board are mostly made by newbies thereby some of the posts lack good quality, off topics, not related to bitcoin discussion and so forth, so most members from Nigeria doesn't like giving opinion is such threads hence they exonerate themselves from the Nigerian local board.

It is a choice of members of this forum from Nigeria to choose either to identify with the local board or not as it isn't mandatory to identify with ones country in the local board, if not for the fact that the local boards were created in other to help members write and discuss in their country languages and also to help individuals of same country help one another on how to navigate through the forum on some discussion about the board, I don't see it necessary to identify oneself with the local board because the creators of Bitcoin introduced it out of anonymity hence we ain't even supposed to expose our identity.

I know how many times those senior men has corrected lots of people about this shit posts that are flooding the LB, but you keep seeing these sort of posts coming up. The reason why we have the beginner and help thread be say make people go there go learn one or two, but you will see most of our people not making efforts to learn. Do you guys think that those senior men are being paid to keep correcting people who are not willing to learn? One thing I like about the forum is that you get what you deserve and there is no two ways about it. Make good quality posts and you get rewarded for it make shit posts and nothing for you, if you like make your activity count reach 5k nobody cares until you improve your quality.

I no dey vex for anything, we are all free to share our opinion. And for someone to grow criticism has to come in at one point or the other. I welcome constructive criticism!!
