Hey Everyone,

As you all know, I am the lucky owner of satoshi@vistomail.com. Unfortunately, I'm not Satoshi Nakamoto. However, I do have a project – a revamped version of Bitcoin with a few tweaks. Let me know what you all think about it, both the good and the bad.

Wallets are ready for linux,Windows, and Mac:
Linux: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/9uewx5jjptx33m3u93m9j/bitcoins-qt-linux.tar.gz?rlkey=7z9g8vewtx1ljw5laq16a3pig&dl=0
Windows: Bitcoins-qt Windows https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/f41sl4ikqodpr2p2j4t9m/bitcoins-qt-windows.zip?rlkey=1k1jtblsbt86p73p34f45sbxn&dl=0
Mac: Bitcoins-qt Mac  https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/xgufgjfgdze4pzarnjtvk/bitcoins-qt.dmg?rlkey=hu0juddvan3sz7euw239zu9wv&dl=0

Github link for Parameters and wallets : https://github.com/bLeYeNk/Bitcoins

Let me know your receiving address once you generate it on the new chain, and I will send you some free Bitcoins.

If you want to make a few extra, help me get the word out. Let me know what you can do to assist.

I hope it is understood that I am not Satoshi Nakamoto; I just wanted to explore launching a different set of parameters for Bitcoins.

How many is some?    Give people an idea of how much you value their time.

You are not sending them Bitcoin, but rather altcoin, and its value will be completely different from Bitcoin and may not have a value exactly as was the case with Bitcoin in 2009/2010.
You are trying to create a hardfork at best, as the project states that it is non-profitable, so instead why not use tBTC or at least provide an online wallet due to the high risks of downloading unknown software.

What is the point of this project? Anyone can just clone the existing Bitcoin repository and rename it..

Hey, thank you for the response. I am offering 5 Bitcoins per wallet address. I am in the process of writing a PHP script for a faucet, so you would just have to solve the captcha.

You can email your generated Bitcoins address to satoshi@vistomail.com.

GitHub Repository: GitHub - bLeYeNk/Bitcoins

Parameters of Bitcoins

Faster Block Confirmations

With a target spacing reduced to 8 minutes from Bitcoin's current 10-minute target spacing, blocks will be mined more frequently. This adjustment could significantly expedite transaction confirmations.

Shorter Target Timespan

A target timespan of 16 minutes ensures a quicker completion of a set number of blocks. This change enhances the blockchain's responsiveness to network changes and enables faster adaptation to variations in hash rate.

Network Stability and Security

Modifying fundamental parameters may impact the stability and security of the network. Rapid changes could introduce vulnerabilities or affect the network's resilience against potential attacks.

Economic Considerations

Altered parameters have the potential to influence economic incentives for miners.

Technical Specifications

Target Spacing: 16 minutes
Target Timespan: Approximately 22,160 minutes (1,385 blocks at 16 minutes each)
Faster Transaction Confirmations: Achieved with an 8-minute block time
Enhanced Security: Increased confirmations required (10 confirmations) for heightened security
Responsive Difficulty Adjustment: Maintains a 22,160-minute target timespan with an adaptive algorithm
Economic Sustainability: Balanced incentives for miners and controlled issuance through halving mechanisms
Community Governance: Embraces decentralized governance mechanisms for active community participation
Scalability and Accessibility: Shorter block time and responsive difficulty adjustment contribute to enhanced scalability and user accessibility

Security Enhancements

Fixed Code Words Vulnerability

Fixed issues related to backdoor seed phrases that had the potential to expose Bitcoin wallets containing 12-word seed phrases and private keys.

Removed issue with recovery phrase words in recent Bitcoin Core updates 2014-2023.

Master Key Phrases Removal

Eliminated master key seed phrases associated with Bitcoin for enhanced security in Bitcoins.

Network Upgrades

Stability and Security
Updated network parameters to ensure improved stability and security.

Transaction Optimization
Achieved faster transaction times for enhanced efficiency.

Target Spacing Upgrade
Improved target spacing for better overall system performance.

Reduced Block Time
Implemented a shorter block time for increased responsiveness.

Miner Incentives
Introduced incentives to encourage and reward miners for their contributions to the network.

Getting Started
Follow these instructions to get the project up and running.

Download Linux, Mac, or Windows wallet. Generate an address and send to satoshi@vistomail.com or visit bitcoinsglobal.com when the Faucet is deployed.

Thank you for taking the time to read through my project and I hope to see your generated wallet!

To sum up I found a list of master words that open up millions of wallets on Bitcoin and all wallets that can be restored with 12 word phrases. Private key was fine.

I am keeping it a private network for now. I will upload everything once 300 wallets have messaged me. I am taking this really slow and just going to have fun with it. I hope to see you on! Everything is in the infant stage I believe we are only at block 150 maybe....

Without a daemon I won't be on. If you post the linux daemon I'll put it up now. I understand you don't want me launching a pool and are trying to keep the asics at bay. Thats fine. I need a daemon tho.

What are you mining with?

it would be helpful to have your chain params but I understand that won't come for a while. Wallet mining is terrible tho.

Currently, just my computer. Chain Parameters are located here: https://github.com/bLeYeNk/Bitcoins/blob/main/README.md

I will upload then ill push to Github. I just wanted to see if anyone was interested in the new parameters. Now that I am seeing an interest. I am starting to feel pretty good about it. Give me a few hrs to deploy the Faucet and I will upload information to mine. Thanks for your interest it makes me feel pretty good actually. Thank you
