Creating App For Google Admob Earnings

Hello everyone!

Please I need information as regards to Google Admob Earnings, I met an old friend who told me about Google Admob, he said I'll pay him a certain amount of money then he'll create an app for me and link it to Google. And Google will start paying me whenever I click the app.

I don't know how true this is, I think he is trying to used my head but I searched on Google and I saw something related to this and I'm a bit confused!

Admob is an advertising platform if you create an app or games you can add banners or interstitial ads anywhere in your app.

Try to download some free games from the Play Store so that you can familiarize what it looks like. Usually, you can see these banner ads on the top or at the bottom or interstitial ads popup every time you get free coins or it automatically pops up every 3 minutes of playing the game.

And a bit of correction if you own the app and click every ads in your own app it's not counted Google won't pay you if you are the one who clicks it you should bring traffic to your app and naturally earn from impressions(CPM) and clicks(CPC) and a I think a bit of commissions.

So what he said.is true but I think it would be better if you are going to take the offer from your friend make sure the ads banners and interstitials should be your own account, not from him.

You will enter a virtual war with Google where they will try and automatically locate other devices and accounts tied to you, and you will need to be extra vigilant to stay hidden.   It's difficult because it's stealing from advertisers!   If you have something that people find interesting, you can use this service.   Otherwise, make sure you don't have any info you need to keep on Google services.    Justice is automated and irreversible.

Your old friend is trying to scam you; the only person that will make money here is your old friend (your instinct is correct).  :/

Be careful with that offer. AdMob is for earning through ads in your app, not by clicking it yourself. Paying someone to click could get you in trouble and isn't how it works. Double-check things before diving in!

Yes it is true but the friend who said is good at app development and has prior experience in the field?

If yes then you can trust and invest a small amount and if not then just stay away because he is trying to rip you off even if someone created apps and games successfully there is no reason that it will get downloads unless it is something unique.

Am with you. They have a way of tracking the clicking event on the Ads, they can easily block user on the point where they've have earned much.

I must say a very big thank you to everyone who reacted,  with this info and advice, add to my little research, I am well edify and I now have a stand.

I think where my friend is not right is the self clicking part, I found out that he is not right, one cannot click on his own ads and still get paid rather the account will be block.

Google will detect your fake clicks through IP and other things. Many people have tried this and is a very old practise. It won't work.

At one point it was working but every loophole will be rectified sooner or later and Google is a big tech giant so we can't expect them to have a flaw in their model for very long. Google changed their revenue-generating module a long ago and these ad generations are merely pennies for them comparing what companies are willing to pay them to stay in the top of the results while someone searches.
