The administrator has already spent billions of dollars in bitcoin developing one... you haven't heard about the new forum that replaces all the free open source ones?

I'm not sure what is the needs for Interface when the most important thing here is the functions and the system inside that interface . and as this forum works completely perfect for me another new looks will only provide new things to learn and understand and besides you have seen this forum 4 years ago from your brothers computer yet you have just created an account recently and just to ask about changing interface .I think best to explore the forum mate because it will help you more than just the looks.will love seeing you around in other section as well mate.

I actually like simple interface like the forum interface, and part of the reason for this is that most times our phone's resources and internet credits are burden/used by things that aren't necessary. It's important that this resources & credit are used efficiently rather than wasted on things we don't need. Just make the interface light, simple and clear as possible... maybe with option to switch to alternative interface.
No need for too much fancy things. No need to draw attention to things that aren't necessary...even the necessary ones shouldn't be exaggerated so that we can focus more on what matters at the moment which is content creations and consuming them.

This forum really lacks many useful features such as notification icon if someone messages on your thread so that we have an idea about our questions asked on the forum. there are many other forums who look better

It’s nice and classic  I personally prefer. I’m glad they don’t have a Discord community because all discord servers are either over moderated or rot due to members.

I like bitcointalk the way it is. When I refer this site to people they don’t even believe the legitimacy of this site due to its super old interface

The user interface that is still in use bitcointalk (early smf) for me is very comfortable because I am used to it and the colors and layout are satisfying, until now I still feel at home and continue to do activities in bitcoin talk. Indeed, I sometimes open other forums with the latest look, but for me I am not too used to it because only bitcointalk in my opinion with lively activity and conducive forums and events and job vacancies is still quite relevant to follow and the best forum for crypto curency space. I am comfortable with this look and if I may ask the team it is better for bitcointalk to maintain with this SMF 1.1.19. it will be difficult to adjust for my eyes if the upgrade for whatever reason. But if there is a surprise, I think it is entirely the right and decision together and I will witness the history of bitcointalk.

So far bitcointalk has been very inspiring with an archive of technical knowledge and techniques about bitcoin and cryptocurrency. and I think bitcointalk has spent a lot of money on maintenance, surviving a dozen years is a good reputation and the trust that continues to increase by its users is a matter of pride even though I am only a user.

It is so true. The interface that bitcointalk is already using is very simple and comfortable. and if it really brings an update that would be a big change because we are used to changes and everything will break apart, there will be bugs, and it takes time to fix them. there will be a lot of maintenance and disturbance during these maintenance and also it takes time to get used to the new interface. moreover. it is better this way because no changes have been made so far and no need to make any changes.

Maybe we can get a dark mode for the theme haha. Cuz I am so used to dark mode, I wanted this forum to include a option for it, which could be good for my eyes and more easier to read.

The new theme is also appreciated if they come up with it so.

I think an update would be bad at this point. The forum has a classic look that we all recognise.

I don't think a forum which is a place to discuss, needs many more features other than what this one has!

You can make the bitcointalk into dark theme by downloading an extension.

Or else you can try this method and include any color you want for bitcointalk: How to easily change the bitcointalk.org skin and other SMF sites to dark theme

I don't see any reason to change the interface. The interface is really lovely and people are used to it. If you take a look at the new site altcointalk, you will notice that it's taking people time to navigate through it. If you watch out you will notice the there is always upgrade in so many thing but it's rear for you to notice it. If you check your keyboard you'll notice that slot of options has been added. Like if you want to send someone merit, before you do it manually but now if you click at the merit box you will discover that merit option will pup up like 1 2 3 4 then you can click any of them. So there are many underground upgrades which is not noticeable but it is changing.

I think that bitcointalk is functioning as it should it is not slow and members of the community can communicate effectively and easily as well

If there is something to be improved upon, i would say it should be the search bar but i do understand that it is not easy to find specific posts with so many of it on the forum but otherwise i think the forum is good as it is and if we change something it may be for the worse so personally i would not want to change anything else right now

I think the interface of bitcointalk is very nice as it is I don't see anything to update here at the moment. All the work in the forum is going well one thing remember nothing is made perfect. The more mistakes you look for the more you will find. At the moment not many people are thinking about changing the interface of the forum.

This is enough, classy, simple and for me that's elegance. We tell that simplicity is beauty and we think that if an outdated design needs some improvement, where we stand that belief now?

I think the interface of bitcointalk is very nice as it is I don't see anything to update here at the moment.
Me too.

This is already nice and we don't need some new interface.  Smiley

Well I think Bitcointalk needs a application. I do think that is something can be done. It will be easier then making a update for the website.
