"U.S. issuers and other firms expect the Securities and Exchange Commission to deny their applications to launch exchange-traded funds (ETFs) tied to the price of ether after discouraging meetings with the agency in recent weeks, four people said.
VanEck, ARK Investment Management and seven other issuers have filed with the SEC to list ETFs that would track the spot price of the world's second-largest cryptocurrency after bitcoin. The SEC must decide on VanEck's and ARK's filings, which are first in line, by May 23 and May 24 respectively."

I don't care if the ETH price goes up to 3.5k or 35k, but I am more concerned about the dark strategy of BlackRock! The amount of money they hold under their management, it's extremely easy for them to control a major portion of the ETH in circulation and control its market.

I never liked when corporates got into crypto space and still I am not a fan of such things. Bitcoin and ETH are two biggest cryptos that could have become a blessing to the privacy focused population. But with all these corporate interventions, it's more of an investment where you need to pay taxes to the government. I personally do not want any corporate to open any more crypto ETF.

Given the current unfavorable conditions of cryptocurrencies markets with Bitcoin price falling to $55,000 and Ethereum is trading below $3000, I am afraid the market will not welcome and Ethereum ETF might not attract substantial inflow of investment in the short term, as we observed lackluster market response to ETF launched in Hong Kong.

Additionally, there is also possibility that approval of Ethereum ETF could be delayed. Nonetheless, long term outlook of the market remains promising.

Yeah, I do it on Binance and it's quite easy to deal with that and doesn't really require more than just a few clicks. With the way things are going, I feel like all these big companies who are getting insane amount of ETH due to this ETF situation will end up staking it too, making the returns a lot lower for all of us. I can see a period where the return will drop to like 1-2% eventually one day, which will not be good at all.

If you have billions in it, then getting even 1% is good because you do not invest for that, you invest because your customers wants to, and that 1% is your money totally, and that's 10 million dollars that you made off others money.

I hope that we can continue with this ETF being a good thing for us because if there isn't really anything that can make it change all together, then we are going to have ETH be taken over by these wall street ETF dudes and the results will not be good for us at all, we will definitely not be happy about it. I personally believe that we need to do a lot better overall, and for that to mean something we need to have retail investors be equally involved with ETH as these wall street guys are, so we can keep the power at least a bit balanced.

Well now here is some good news for the Blackrock spot Eth ETF. This week it did cross $1 Billion cumulative net inflows. And it remains crypto investors early choice for investors who want a spot Eth ETF.
Fidelity’s Ethereum Fund had only $367 Million in cumulative net inflows. Bitwise Ethereum ETF has $310 Million and Grayscale Ethereum Mini Trust has $227 Million.

Yes, indeed true from my monitoring of the crypto market, for now the situation is indeed going down, and it is an important consideration for investors, but this situation will gradually recover again, even though the crypto market is fluctuating, this is quite normal in the crypto market at this time.

Yeah, I think that is the risk with Staking, although in the beginning, it could be worth for some because of the high yield that they will get. However, when the market's became saturated, and just like the hype it is, sooner or later it will lose it's attractiveness to say the least. And then the whole staking went down, the yield became so meager that it's no longer very appealing and then you don't have total control of it.

And with that, it might be good to invest with Ethereum because of the whole US Spot Ethereum ETF. And similar to Bitcoin, it will really bring a lot of money from investors and obviously, it will give that needed boost to the market itself.

The main reason why we are investing so much to ETH as a group, is something that we are dealing with something that is taking time and that's the most important part. I know that we are going to end up with a good result one way or another, and because of that we shouldn't really consider how this could change anytime soon.

ETH is great, it is the main point for so many projects and it is bringing something much better with time, we will keep on getting good results one way or another, it is going to be what we like to do and that's what we care. Hopefully ETH will continue to make money to everyone, and if it keeps on making more money for everyone and keeps being the chain for many projects then I doubt it will go away at all.

The fact that we somehow managed to get this doesn't mean that it is a great thing, it also means that we are going to end up with a good result if we want to and we shouldn't really do anything about any of this, we need to consider how this could be a bigger deal if we do what we do knowing what we are going to get.

If we have no idea about what the future of ETH futures looking and ETF seems like a questionable thing then we do not need to invest into that, and this is what the investors are doing.

Bitcoin is the one everyone loves and because of that I think there is really not a big deal about this that makes it questionable for anyone. If you get to do Bitcoin ETF, then why would you want to do ETH ETF as well, that's the deal.

Many of the whales who did not buy coins directly, ended up buying the ETF and they prefer bitcoin over ETH easily, everyone does that in crypto too that's why bitcoin has higher marketcap, and I think it's clear that we will be getting not that many investments at ETH ETF.
