No!! Mixers don't work anymore, stay away from them. There is an easy way: 1 - get a Monero wallet (feather or mymonero) 2- get the tor browser 3- Swap your bitcoin for Monero (XMR). The best no-kyc exchange I think is xchange.me, they only charge 1%. They have a great tor website. Navigate here with your tor browser: http://xmxmrjvjw3drvegm7m5gpqp3bsgp3x3bgc2x7jc76cacr74jhdwop7id.onion4- Once you get the monero, movie it to a second monero address. Because of how Monero works, your crypto is now fully anonymous. You can now swap it back for bitcoin or any other crypto, and your coins are untraceable.

What do you mean by "mixers don't work anymore"? I am not saying that using a centralized service is the best option, but it is wrong to say that they dont work. Some people still prefer to use mixers because of their ease of use.

It's pretty widely assumed that coins can be traced through mixers by companies like Chainalysis.

You are wrong that mixers do not work anymore. They are still working. Yes, Coinjoin can also be used. Also converting bitcoin to monero and back to bitcoin will also work, but on decentralized exchange like https://bisq.network/, or he can go the easy way like https://exch.cx/.

You don't have to trust that whatever "mixer" you're using isn't broken by governments or companies like Chainalysis.

Most likely because the forum has banned them? I am assuming that you've said that they don't work anymore because of the recent ban that has been implemented about them here. I'd agree that one way is to convert your BTC into Monero and going on with coinjoin. @OP, https://kycnot.me/ might help you.

Nothing to do with that, it's just widely assumed now that Chainalysis and governments have technology that makes them obsolete, that they can track transactions through them. Monero is open source and only costs 1% to convert to, 2% max if you convert back, so why not be safe and do that instead?

You just have to wait for a couple confirmations, then XMR gets sent to you after a couple minutes.

using promoted mixers that reveal how they operate (people deposit in certain rounded amount and get out certain rounded amount) is the easiest way to get flagged as mixer used and tagged as a suspicion rating by services
however if you know of a miner who is willing to trade your coin for his fresh mined coin. you obtaining fresh mined coin without the fluff of mixer rounded mount tagging is better for you
benefits: a. the only taint you have is 1 spend after coin reward b. you can the claim to tax office you obtained coin from mining at X mining cost vs Y market price to reduce "paper gains" even if the hidden swap is from coins you obtained years ago c. having no mixer tags services watch out for
to emphasis (B) imagine you got 0.5btc in 2016 for $250 ($500/btc) and now worth $21k($42k/btc) if you cashed out you would have to claim gains of $20,750
however swapping for 0.5btc of fresh mined coins this week you can claim your electric is (US $0.12c/kwh) which at 500exahash network hashrate is 0.5btc for $14k electric +$7.5k hardware to be "break even" thus no cap gains
plus the onchain transaction taint can prove coins origins are from this years reward and not some other website withdrawal you dont want the tax man to know about

There's a likely that they do have some tools/technology. Going with the monero conversion, no one argues about the cost of it because it's effective to hide your privacy as what everyone is telling about it. As for OP, I'm sure that he's got the ideas already that have been mentioned by every member here which were the same.

Yeah, I converted to Monero using the method described in the first response, moved it between addresses, then converted back to a different crypto to send to the CEX. Worked great. Thanks everyone for the advice!

This thread is an obvious shilling for xchange.me. A newbie who clumsily asks about a service is immediately followed by another newbie who suggests this service in almost every detail. Then, a user like JoseJosayyyy wakes up from a long period of inactivity to confirm that it was the right choice. I don't know much about this exchange, I can see from the archives that they have been operating for several years, but this is certainly a bad way to draw attention to them. 3- Swap your bitcoin for Monero (XMR). The best no-kyc exchange I think is xchange.me, they only charge 1%. They have a great tor website.
This is not true. They went up in price The exchange fees for XMR and BTC have been increased from 1% to 2%, and for other supported cryptocurrencies, the fee is now 3%. here is their statement https://xchange.me/news.txt

just be cautious when using a promoted CEX but its not a regulated CEX, . regulated CEX/analysis services know of known unregulated crypto services reserve /hot/cold wallet addresses and would tag your withdrawal from their wallet as suspicious so you might be on a watchlist though general users cant tie you to a particular earlier deposit. there are monitoring/analysis services that do rate utxo's/withdrawals based on where funds came from. so you may have changed the taint from your previous use, you may now have a different taint suspicion rating for different reason the very best way is to swap coins privately with a fresh mined coin

This thread is so tempting as one could unconsciously refer you to some specific mixers which might be faulting the forum rules. I almost did that lol… Still, yeah mixers are a service in the cryptospace that specializes in hiding those traces, those origin by using various process to mixing such as coinjoin and even mixing with there coins so yeah. Though mixers aren’t allowed to operate on the forum, they remain a service in the cryptospace and you could such that out on other forums or even by using google search engine, get acquainted with the patterns to usage and enhance privacy on your Bitcoin.

Monero is a best privacy coin and you can use Monero $XMR as a middle cryptocurrency to gain privacy with Bitcoin.
With Bitcoin public ledger, all transactions can be traced and you must use inputs, outputs very cleverly to reduce your on-chain traces. Monero can help you to increase your privacy.
Find exchanges (no KYC), to deposit your BTC to, swap it to XMR. Move your XMR around and sell it to Bitcoin. Withdraw it to your wallet.
You can use Coin Join transaction if want to increase privacy more but be aware that some centralized exchanges are against CoinJoin.

Use mixers, if you can't afford to do that, you can make use of the gambling organizations, lastly, try to engage the use of bitcoincore over Tor.

you can make use of the gambling organizations,
Most crypto gambling services implement KYC rules, there is no expectation of anonymity that way. On the other hand, they're centralizwd, there are more conditions and restrictions for withdrawing funds, you'll sometimes be violated by doing this by using the same account continuously.
