I shared in a different thread (about my experience and what did I learn about gambling) that I've learnt to be more patient, which has not only helped me when it comes to playing, but also in different aspects of my daily life. Impulsiveness and the desire to earn money quick (of even become rich) goes against the gambler, who should try to make better, more reflexive decisions. Yes nothing to argue about this truely patient answereth and solve many problem of many on earth apart from the aspect of gambling, just I you have said many has lost life, lost properties and others valuable and even run into deep mess they can recover due to impatient over something. It pay more been patient than impatient,  as one focused on something patient should be a backbone to actualize the dream or else the dream becomes failure because the life can cut short before materialization.

It the patient that trigger the hope that one day you will make it even when your at losses it gear the hope and courage to stand and surpassed the current challenges. That's right. It's not just about money control anymore but the patience to either wait or it's time to walk away.
I think I've also learned a lot in gambling and that's becoming responsible with the money. If you put a number on how much you will gamble then you will have to stick with it. Don't break the plan or the promise. If everything is gone then be patient and wait for the next budget and that's where I could gamble again.
We cannot keep on depositing money just because we think we are near getting lucky or our aim is to get revenge because whether we like it or not, beating the house ain't that easy. We must know when to stop.
