I was even afraid of what happened to Op network fow the few two days because I was in the POS office and was about to transfer money to the POS sake girl and I the message I got was like I have been hacked or what? And the way scammers are looking for all the ways to scam people is getting out of hand. And the scam is not only in Opay but also in another Banks and I what you have to do is to be careful and be smart about your assets so that even though you get the Scammers message you will know what time did. Experience is the best me I don enter well well so I know all their tricks.
The best teacher is always experienced and with the level of experience we have grained over the year with scammers, I think it will be very hard for scammers to be able to get through to some of us, online platforms are the most targeted since Internet fraud is believed to give some scammers sense of privacy and anonymousity which I reality is not so, and also we need to check ourselves very well and keep being informed.

Recently I hard to deactivate almost all the banks notifications and other notifications from my phone so at leat I limit my access and notice to only the things that I as a customer desire to access and make use of from the platform instead of receiver unsolicited promotions which most or some of them are from scammers.

Not only okay that is a target or mostly used, other online banks also have their own  liphole or services that can be manipulated and preached to gullible customers and they accept the offer.

Opay experienced network issues just like other banks and financial institutions, talking about scammers you only fall to scammers when you play by their rules, for example someone picks his phone and calls you to send a one time password (OTP) normally you should know that for no reason that password is not meant to be disclosed to another, be it the owner of the Bank abi the bank manager, scammers can't just stay am remove money from Ur account except you let them by playing by their rules.

It was only network issues I was made aware of after I was left stranded at a super store having bagged my purchases and wanted to pay.

Omo, that day be like film o, I begin dey try explain but no evidence truly o, because network dey, but Opay no gree work. That na why e good to be a known customer sha, because I no gree return the purchase o, make hunger no kpai person. I later do their transfer to them early the next morning...whew!

As for the scammers I don't think I have come across one yet, but seeing it's a banking app, I wouldn't just login or submit my details based a prompt notification I received to do so and also because my experience from even chatting with their customer care service will educate one on questions that matter, and those that don't.
A scammer will want to have more precise details and private ones too and that's they don't care about your issues.

Well, the Opay app has sure has more customers than before and this was one issue of concern in the first place when they became operational. All of a sudden, Dem begin dey get network issues and steady upgrade o.

Scammers are coming up with new updates to make sure they scam money from people. We should always read the details of transactions to know if we are the ones who initiated them before authorizing them. We can also save money that we will use to run our daily activities on Opay so that we will not lose much if our Opay account is compromised.

What you are saying is just the way out,  actually the level of scammers developmental strategies are increasing on daily basis, it's necessary that whoever that engage on anything online should seek knowledge and apply safety caution on how to overcome this scammers. It's very important as they increase their strategies so we too should not be ignorant of it , because many victims is as a result of ignorance.

Another thing is that we should not be too haste to make transaction with proper confirmation, and verifying in details even to respond text messages or any kind of reply that need personal details which may be an access to scammers.

The scam case of opay is beginning to gain popularity but it only takes one to be foolish enough to fall victim of such trap because frequently I see opay advertising that they don't require you to take some actions, hence beware of scammers.

And in every transaction that happens in opay you will need a pin to authorize the transaction but if one is about to be scam they are required to use this private pins and fingerprints to initiate this transaction but if one is fully aware of how this security things work they won't fall victim but that doesn't mean people don't fall victim of this traps but is minimal in this state of awareness.

Perhaps I'm seriously concerned about those who don't know much about the online banking but use them in the remote areas hence get scammed for lack of knowledge. It very poor how out won brothers will leave the scam areas of focus to turn to there own people to scam them, it very shameful.

But anyways I will share this information to my love ones to keep them aware of the current situation of things. So that they wouldn't fall victim of opay scam.

Those scammers are always looking for methods to defraud people, if not waiting concerned them with OPAY again, I believe they will only find a way to get the OPAY customers to move away from opay. Because of all of this, many people refuse to use government banks again once they learn that the OPAY network is highly strong and fast in terms of transactions. That's why so many people prefer to use the OPAY wallet nowadays. And now, as people become increasingly busy, the bank is looking for a means to increase its ATM maintenance charge costs, which is why many people are opening defference wallets.
