The Abelian network is a post-quantum privacy-preserving blockchain network, which adopts NIST standardized lattice-based cryptography, addressing the growing threat of quantum computers towards traditional blockchains. The Abelian network is not only proven to be cryptographically secure and quantum-resistant, but also supports privacy preserving properties of its token [ABEL] which ensures the anonymity and untraceability of transactions.

The founding members consist of world-renowned mathematicians and cryptographers from all across the globe, including:
  • Dr. Duncan Wong - Co-inventor of linkable ring structures, author of over 200 cryptography research publications
  • Prof. HuaXiong Wang - Top international mathematician proficient in lattice-based cryptography, threshold cryptography, and secret sharing
  • Prof. Khoa Nyugen - Well-known cryptographer who has published papers in EUROCRYPT, PQCrypto and CRYPTO
  • Prof. GuoMin Yang - Renowned cryptographer who has published papers in CRYPTO and ASIACRYPT
  • With Advisor Prof. Juan Garay - Distributed Systems expert and IACR fellow

Blockchain Details:
- Total supply: 225.18 million ABEL, 9.14% pre-mined
- Block time: 256 seconds
- Difficulty adjustment: 4000 blocks (11.8 days)
- Block reward: Initially 256 ABEL, halves every 3.25 years
- Confirmation: 5 blocks

Our layer 1 network launched in early 2022, and we have processed over 480K transactions to date. We have partnerships with Draper Dragon, BTQ, and IEEE Blockchain Hong Kong, and ABEL was recently listed on the XT and MEXC exchanges. Our community is also thriving, with over 5000 miners and over 200,000 GPU cards involved in the mining, as well as over 20,000 followers combined on our social media.

Future Plans:
- Open-source code (by Q1 2024)
- Launch of Abelian User Tokens
- Layer 2 Smart Contracts
- Multi-level Privacy Features
- Post-Quantum Zero-Knowledge (PQZK) Bridge

Join us on the journey towards a decentralized, quantum-resistant blockchain with a focus on privacy and community empowerment.
Abelian - Secure the Quantum Era!

$ABEL
 Bull Run Prediction:

Realistic - $5B mc , 50$
Optimistic - $10B mc , 100$

This is a true undiscovered gem. Privacy narrative will be big, and with recent breakthroughs in quantum computing, ABEL
$ABEL=XMR2.0
has a shot at being top dog

Although I discovered it very late, I am very optimistic about Abelian.

This is old. Why in ANN forum?
The Abelian mainnet was launched in 2022, and large progress has been made in the recent months.
This is our first post here, is this not appropriate for the announcement channel?

I did check your discord, and it seems to be legit by what the members are talking. Also, i suggest that any member that wants to check the reliability of the coin, check the discord

you may want to post some tips in the mining section about how to mine your coin and why is this a good thing.

Fixed the Whitepaper link.

We have a GPU mining manual for solo-mining at the Downloads page, and you can also check out the Federated Mining Pools (just download the GPU Mining Pool Client and read the README).
Do note that mining currently requires 8GB of RAM :-)

Is this the project with the massive sized blockchain that would fill hard drives?

Yes, and it's over 80GB D:

Thanks for the link, we'll check it out.

Well at least you got it down some. It was hitting like 200gb to download the chain before. Still too massive. What is the growth rate?

You can use the wallet to top up from the MEXC exchange. Payments from pools are going through, I checked.

Why do you have to worry about the size of your desktop wallet? If you use the able cli wallet, it only takes up about 80M of space. I personally think: There are also mobile wallets released, including ios wallets and Android wallets. I personally use mobile wallet, which is convenient and safe.

Sorry for the wait. Apparently there isn't an accurate answer, but anecdotally it grows about 1 GB each month.
