New Scam related to URL ban for exchanges in India - [Awareness]

We all know Indian government recently banned URLs of international crypto exchanges like Binance, Kucoin for not complying AML policies, and now we can see scammers use this to scam people as well by guaranteeing they can retrieve the stuck funds on Binance wallets and I came to know about this after seeing such kind of messages in random crypto telegram groups, So I just want to alert not fall for this trap.

Even though URLs have been banned we can still use the exchanges via their official app or the new domain as temporary solution from exchange like Binance and there is no risk of our funds getting stuck there, and the exchange will send official announcement to every user if they are going to shut down their operations in Indian and will give ample time to withdraw any balance in our exchange's wallet.

Most of us here can say this is scamming straight away, but if someone who search about this on Google can see this and safeguard their exchange accounts.

Scammers are always ready to cash on any opportunities they see that make others vulnerable. The best example is the recovery of lost wallets that we can see on the Service board. Now, they saw that there are a few idiots who invested funds into Bitcoin or alts and have zero understanding of self custody. They would have not used the exchange apps as they would have been informed to use the exchange website to keep their funds safer from hackers. We all know how phone hackers can get access to exchange apps. The banning of the URL is the opportunity they saw and now this new scam business has started. I am beyond doubt that they would have succeeded in scamming those knuckleheads.

Now, this scamming shit, what low can scammers stoop too is being evident with such scams. I sometimes feel how intelligent these scammers are as they come up with scams which none of us could think about. Already there are lot of scams going on especially in digital form be it food delivery website or banks as I remember once the scammers from "Jamtara" had created fake website of Swiggy and Zomato and looted good amount of customers though the victims were technically sound.

Now this ban has become boom for these scammers to trap new victims, I think we can stop this by educating people over our social media, also if some influencers takes up this noble cause and warn the general public about it then it would be great because these scammers are getting more and more creative everyday and this has to be stopped since people of India are already going through tough time due to this draconian law of restriction against crypto.

It is just not North India, South India and Mumbai is a big hub for scammers. If you do a YouTube search using the keywords, scammers in India, Indian scammers and scam call center India you will find more than a ton of YouTube channels dedicated to apprehend Indian scammers. India is also known globally for high-tech scams. I remember there was a time when Chennai was known for international credit card cloning scams. Most of their victims used to be Europeans. The latest Jamtara series on Netflix shows how Bihar has become an epic center of Bank scams.

Actually the punishment for cybercrime is almost non existent, they eventually cannot be convicted and left off with warnings. There needs to be harsh punishment for such crimes similar in the lines of robbery, murder and other heinous acts. Otherwise that "fear" of prosecution will never come in the hearts of possible criminals.

If the punishment is upgraded and people start becoming aware, the prevalence of such scams can reduce.

he means it's time to go to Indian local exchange, it's good. consider that English isn't their local language too.

good to know that the app on our phone will still work even if the government already banned the url. but for how long? or will the app keep working? if it does i think is should download the .apk already because this could happen in my country too, our government wants to block those exchanges too.
