This is not what you can correct because some newbies are just newbies. Some will start not good, but later see how good and reputed posters are posting, with the more experience the newbies gain, their posting quality will increase. The problem that we have is that we do not have child boards, if we have child boards like off-topic, it would have been better. Instead of complaining, the posts complained about would have been moved to off-topic board where they belong.

You are correct @charls tim. but even if we don't have off topic here in this local board they can go to the general off topic board and create such thread.

@funke it might look as if people are disturbing you, but one thing is sure in life and that is growth. No matter how Smart someone might be, he /she can never know everything in one day. but when you pay attention to any environment you find yourself, you will discover what is going on.

No man was born with knowledge but people grow up by leaning a taking correction. I believe with your 2 months to 3 you will be able to know the difference of what people are saying. When you will know the difference you will be the one to correct other newbies.

Because from what you are saying most newborns like my self are finding it hard to post anywhere, because in some forums I have visited they have such broad call child broad also I am sure this broad should have great effect on the newborns to have ideas on how the forums operates most newborns find it hard to tell for there right to there left on the forums

Because from what you are saying most newborns like my self are finding it hard to post anywhere, because in some forums I have visited they have such broad call child broad also I am sure this broad should have great effect on the newborns to have ideas on how the forums operates most newborns find it hard to tell for there right to there left on the forums

If we have a moderator, it would have been easy, but we do not have a moderator. We wanted two child-boards to be created but our request was not granted. You do not have to worry, just create good and worthy posts that are not useless and you have nothing to be worried about. Only off-topic and low quality posts are often moved to off-topic board.

Op I feel your pain. If you find yourself in a new place, read the rules and regulations governing that place so that it will enable you to know how things are done in that place, and it will also make you fit in without getting into trouble. As a newbie, your thread should not be centered on teaching; you can read other people's posts to know what kind of post is accepted in this forum. And if you want to create a thread, your message should be centered on bitcoin or on security updates that will help us guide ourselves against scammers.

Yes not just having child boards but our own local board moderators that will effectively and efficiently move, delete, and lock topics where necessary and appropriately. The general moderators are quite slow in attending to these issues when reported but a local board moderator with act fast and right.

Naturally, any newbie that doesn't adapt and change over time will naturally get tired of the forum and exit it. It is like natural selection.

Just as boss Charles-Tim don talk, based on say we never get child's board naim make off topics them still they full this part of the local board, but by the time wey Dem don give us our own moderator we go separate am then, creat board specially for off topic. But for now, newbies are bound to make mistakes, even me sef start with mistake, but to remain for that mistake say you no wan gree learn or take other people advise na there e take bad so. Highest off topic wey supposed dey for one page naim be just 1, then make the rest of the thread then get relevant information wey we dey pass, or Bitcoin related discussion. But currently like this if we observe the local board, you go see say the off topics for this first page sef many die. Na why we dey complain say make the give newbies proper oriented before them dey come here come post anything wey Dem see for social media or news.

E get the way you go structure off topic come put Bitcoin inside, e go come make sense and the thread go come dey very interactive. This forum post them na sense you go use, and from there you fit by God's grace get merit for that post. I believe one of the things wey dey affect newbies na be say, them dey feel like say topics don finish, but na for still here naim person go bring out very fresh and innovative work come wey get educative and good information for inside.  Motivational speakers say na only you fit carry your hand limit yourself and that na true. If you think critically outside the box, you must definitely come out with good solution.

So newbies abeg make una try, e no easy to come up with genuine quality post but nothing is too impossible.

And one thing you have to know in the forum be say you must have that thick skin so that when you attack, you go over look and move on or you go defend yourself with quality replies and with doing dat you fit get likes because many people wey dey attack misunderstood di concept of the thread so when you defend yourself with good replies then merits go come. This is the core reason of the forum so all your writings should center on bitcoin. You can create threads on the disadvantages and advantages. Bitcoin wallet discussion is also there. It's very certain that the forum have it's standards of post which links have been thrown above by ..... so you have to read and understand this rules very well, as Agbe have said too he clearly pointed out areas that you most grow in other not to face the rude response of higher ranked members.

I will also want to put you funke to order, your style of post to be sincere is really provoking and I'm sure most people who attack you must have added you to there ignore list because after the first and second warming of your low quality post you did continue to make such post and as a result some couldn't bear it and when straight up to attack you.

You must know that the first thing that brought us together in this forum is Bitcoin and the blockchain technology. So, most of our discussions here should be relevant to Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general. Other things that can make this board interesting and engaging can also be posted, I don't think there is any law against that.

What I don't really cherish much is some topics that people raise here that have no relevance to Bitcoin, neither does it contain any important information. I do not also like controversial topics that divide us instead of uniting us. I have see the mod move some topics to the archive, which means they are also watching the board to see posts that are not suitable to be posted here.

Learning is essential in the growth of people, I actually asked the question because , I followed the trend of people posting different things in this board.

So it was like , the board was created Bitcoin talks and other issues about Nigeria, I have seen several posts on different threads in this board. Therefore, I am asking to know the specific reason for the board and what to be posted. The question was asked for me to understand and others to understand.

The general moderators are very slow to attend to stuffs like this because they receive request from many users, other local boards without moderators and also from general boards also. A local moderator is needed in every local board, at least one can serve as a start and can more can be added as time goes on base on the activity on the local boards. I think we have to just continue using the our comments on post that are not needed for OP to know if there post is worthy of posting or not. The one that will listen and abide will do just that and the naive ones will continue to be like that until when penalised for it.

Boss you have said it all, criticism here should be seen as part of learning and part of the process, if anyone is been criticise, check why you are been criticised is you are not doing well then you should improve yourself or defend yourself if you are on the right track.
The first thing here in this forum is learning, glancing through most of the threads create here we help newbies to grow, in general, this forum is all about financial system, if we can't create threads that are bitcoin related, we can also create threads on the economy, ways the economy can be improved or the role of bitcoin in this digital economy.
I mean no disrespect, I feel that op has failed to work with the fundamentals of this forum which is asking questions and improving with the replies gotten from members.
