OP I didn't heard about BABY DRAGON  and dogwifhat (WIF) before but meanwhile i check these out. WIF might be okey for consider cause it has decent cap and listed on good exchange but I don't know what makes you conference about BABY DRAGON? This is already a shitcoin, maybe $13 volume in 24 hours. A new coin with pure scam lol. I have doge, bonk with little amount. Buying Memecoin with lower market is kind of sui-cide lol.

I agree with what you said. Buying memecoins with a low market capitalization will be very risky and can lose you money. If you look at the OP's question at the beginning of the thread, my answer is that I never hold meme coins for more than 180 days. This is because usually the growth of meme coins will be very fast because it is driven by the community and we have to be smart at seeing the right time to throw them away. I say dump rather than sell because I have no confidence whatsoever in coins that have no fundamentals.

If you go to cmc and coingacko you will find some list where there is a list of best altcoins and you can buy them because it is possible to get good profit in bull market. But invest very little money because the risk in memecoin is high and if you dump too much, your money will be useless.

hmm, memecoins To be very honest if you ask me about it how much I have invested in memecoin or would i hold them for the long term then my answer will be no because I am not interested in buying memecoins or holding them for the long term it is my self priority/preference not saying anyone should follow it.

well, the reason behind why I am not interested in buying memecoin and do not want to hold them for long long-term is because they are highly volatile and work on very high pumping and dumping schemes and another thing is that their market cap and supply in the market which makes it nearly impossible to give maximum profit to its investors or believers. It is a very rare case scenario that memecoin going to give an unexpected profit which is going to make you rich more than enough so this is the reason I do not buy and hold memecoin for the long term time frame. Well, I have some altcoins in my portfolio but only those that are good projects, have a strong and dedicated team, working on the project ecosystem actively.

As the altcoins or memecoins are too many in the cryptocurrency ecosystem world so most of us do not know which which one to even invest but the matter what and at least some people would purchase one coin and be hodling it to see if the coin will hit the All Time High one day. And for now I m hodling Eloncoin and I am getting it from the campaign. And I believe one day the coin will hit $10 and above.

I have done research and understand the risks, and my conclusion is that meme coins are not worth long-term investment. these are altcoins that have no utility and they don't even have a roadmap, in other words only hype makes them have a price.With this fact if you invest in meme coins the risks involved are also very high.

Lets not forget about Garlicoin which is a "meme" coin with a limited supply. It's different from other coins such as Dogecoin and Shiba Inu which have a huge supply that never stops growing. Technically, GRLC should've been the most valuable "meme" coin on the market. But the reason why it isn't it's because developers (AFAIK) abandoned the project. Without active development nor innovation, market prices will remain low for the forseeable future.

The thing is that people only choose "meme" coins as a means for profit. Not to use them on a daily basis to pay for goods and/or services.  It's all speculation/hype. Those who're lucky will be able to cash out a lot of money during the coin's "golden days". But it's hard to predict which "meme" coin will become the next big thing, due to the unpredictable nature of the crypto market. Just don't go crazy spending all of your life savings into "meme" coins, and you'll have nothing to worry about.

Currently holding some doge coins at the moment. Sold the other memecoins cause during the recent bearish move most of them them lose so much value except doge that's why I sold the them and keep only doge coins cause it is much more profitable and don't loose much value when Btc goes bearish.

Only Dogecoin but not that much, the purpose is just for swap with low transaction fees and quick confirmation. I do like Doge because that was one of the first altcoin I have in early days and don't really bother to check all new meme coins out there, especially with zero experience and community to support. I personally am not someone who is interested in investing in meme coins for the long term, because learning from the past, meme coins are more suitable for short terms or just to take profits during the hype, other than that, don't expect much. And meanwhile it requires further analysis beforehand and is like a gamble. I'm not a high risk taker like this. So yes, it's not easy for me to spend time analyzing these meme coins. I don't know, many people do take gains from meme coins, but many people also lose from meme coins. And I'm still not too interested in doing it. Just check CMC, there are lots of meme coins there that you might be able to analyze. Or on social media, whichever is currently being discussed a lot.

Meme coins never have good market appreciation after hearing a lot of people get into trouble with their investments after buying. Well, it was the fact that investors make money during their hype but after that, it drops making those holders and latecomers suffer losses. I'm also not a fan on the idea about meme coin holding since for so many times I see a lot of scams on this token it leaves an impression to me that all of those token are scam. I don't see any meme coins that satisfy me due to their technology bring(I put exemption on Doge coin) since usually meme coins are just a pump and dump scheme.

Meme coin is really suitable for short term because if a newbie trader would able to decide to hold since they get fooled that there will be a pump will came since they compare it to bitcoin then provably that we can see them lose their money for deciding to do that.

There's a lot of people get some gains on meme coin but those are people know how to deal with these tokens or have a lot of experience on trading. Also if they check on CMC they can see that there really a lot of meme coin but almost all of them got no value since it has been dumped or been rugged pulled by its own dev.

Are meme coins suppose to be hold for long time? How are you going to be comfortable holding a meme coin? We all know how risky meme coins are, and most of them are just created by scammers just steal peoples money, it’s surprising how some people are so confident in meme coin, most of them have no use case, no road map, they are just created and they decide to pump money into marketing to create awareness so that people will invest, most meme coins don’t even last, you hear about them for just few moments and they will die off, how are you going to hold coins like that for a long period of time? It doesn’t make any sense to me.

If am not investing in bitcoin, then I will rather invest in strong altcoins like Eth, BNB, Solana and many other coins, instead of investing in meme coins, I see meme coins to be a waste of money, am not saying people are not making money from meme coin investments, but the risk is just kind of high, and just little people are making money from it.
