EU people have the opportunity to test the relatively new crypto card from  United.

They select randomly 50 people, top up their cards with $500 asking fair review in return.

I have checked the trust of UTED on https://www.trustpilot.com/review/unitedtoken.eu and found that the most of reviews are positive.

Sounds over the top and frankly rings my alarm bells. Is there a catch? like you have to spend xy amount to unlock yz bucks or something. As for trustpilot reviews, to be honest, I typically ignore it as it is pretty prone to misuse.

 I imagine they're going to load the cards with their token UTED but I'm not sure how 50 people could spend $500 each since the token only did about $8500 in the last 24 hours.  There's not a lot of detail in their promotion.

500 x 50 = 25K/per week would be overkill even for Wirex card (which I'm using for years) not to mention such youngster as  United card.

But there is def more to this as people have to do some tasks first which likely won't be simple considering the reward.

Took a quick look and youre right. My guess is, either they have to shoulder a portion of it or not many people are able claim the 500 bucks because of the "simple tasks".

Then, it would be interesting to learn what is the volume of  their customers who already have and use their card. To pay  50ppl/per week those 25K must be part of the company operational  cost  which in turn put a strain on the shoulders of card holders in form of various fee when they are doing transactions. The more volume of  card holders the less strain on each individual.

Or, as you said, the key here is the tasks ppl need to complete to receive that $500 reward.

This card looks like a cheap junk, they have some token crap connection and with their design it all reminds me very much on old Centra Tech scam.
Signing up for $50 each week could be just farming of email addresses and personal information, so I would stay away from this, or use only temp email if you are testing.
I am not even sure those are even real team members, and trustpilot reviews and ratings are worthless.
