I could answer it very easily for such a price when ETF was not approved, that yes it's the best time to buy back now or get in because until the end of 2024 still, a new ATH is optimistic. At the same time for now I think a decent time to buy but I'll hold my hands for a breakout of the psychological support level of 38k to fill my bags aggressively. Not a piece of financial advice just my observation that being greedy I should wait for more to buy more.

At the same time, the ground is still highly bullish for 2024 and this cycle will conclude itself in somewhere mid of 2025 and its just the beginning so hold tight.

Whenever there is panic in the market the best entry time and waiting for more opportunities to come could lead to missed opportunities due to the market volatility in nature and hard to predict sometimes.

I'm not sure if you have heard of Grayscale trust, it was set up some years ago for some traditional investors that wanted to buy bitcoin, so Grayscale set up a trust for people to buy bitcoin and when bitcoin increased in value, the investors get profits from their shares and there equivalent amount of Bitcoin with Grayscale but since ETF has now been approved by the SEC after many years, they are selling the trust because traditional investors are moving to the recently approved ETF Bitcoin and that's why bitcoin is dumping.

I will called the sell off temporary selling pressure, by the time they are done with it and more people but bitcoin, the halving will kick and have more upside for Bitcoin as a new bullrun. So I will tell you to buy some bitcoin and hold even if there is no signal about that yet.

If they are not making Bitcoin a legal tender then to me, it's useless because is just like any other regular investors buying Bitcoin and holding it. Even the US government has bout 2% of bitcoin total supply under their wallet and they are holding like normal other investors.

Two different scenarios or options: yes, as long as the bitcoin price is much lower, it is a good opportunity for those small investors to enter the market, buy a portion of bitcoin through satoshi, and wait for the increase in price, but of course it should be done with more knowledge and analysis in the market because we never know the price might drop even more. If you want to buy bitcoin just do it, I say this because over the many years I have been on this forum I have seen many posts like yours before, and whenever those users doubted about buying bitcoin because they thought they could eventually get a better price, this made them to get paralyzed and they refused to buy bitcoin, then once the price recovered they did not wanted to buy it and wanted bitcoin to at least drop in price to its previous level, and when that did not happened they eventually missed a monster movement and never bought any bitcoin as a result of their indecision.

Whether the Saudis are responsible for slump of bitcoin from $49k to $40k, I really do not care. This is just FUD and the market will bounce back. It all depends on what percentage of the deposit you are now going to make a purchase with. If it's a small percentage, say 1-2%, then it's not a bad idea. If you want to buy bitcoin for at least 30-50% of your deposit, then I think that this is a rather risky undertaking. I believe that Bitcoin not only can fall, but it will actually fall and much more. Than most holders can imagine it. We haven't really fallen in a long time. And most likely we will update the 15K level, but not immediately, but over at least 1 year.

Nobody can say if this is the best time, everything is possible. Personally, I tried to buy as much as I could below $30k, then I bought something again around $38-39k, and then it went up to $48k if I recall correctly. It is at your own discretion if you think bitcoin will fall below your expected level, then you should wait for it before making a purchase. No matter the analysis, the news, the rumors, bitcoin oftentimes does exactly the opposite of what everybody is expecting it to do. The only thing we know is that there is an extremely high probability that will keep growing in value as more and more people will want a piece of the cake.

Even though the price of bitcoin has increase a bit from its down price last week or early this week, I would say that, there is still an ample opportunity open for any one to accumulate as much bitcoin as they want in preparations for the coming bull run.

Bitcoin is still like above $25,000 far away from its all time high, and from what we have seen, the price of cross it's previous all time high and set a new record some where above $120,000, so for me, if I have the cash to buy more bitcoin, I would do it gladly even at this current price, and even at $50,000, there is a lot of profit to the made this year and next year.

I disagree that it's not the best time, compare to the potential price that bitcoin will go to when it finally starts to pump, it's going to be blowing our minds away at how big the price increase will be and that we would be saying that time that we should've brought when the price was still around 40k, we would all be mad about our decision this time to think that this isn't a good time. DCA will definitely help with that doubt that it's not the best time to buy bitcoin but make sure to go big whenever you get the chance. I think waiting for a little bit longer would be better and that's what I plan to do so because for me it is still too early. There is no enough confirmation yet for a bullrun and therefore, a price correction could still take place. The confirmations I am checking are higher rte of volatility, most of the projects are succeeding, and higher market volume for major coins in the market. A huge news will be also contributing to this like with the previous ones. Also, I do expect it to happen months after the halving itself. We've had several discussions about this type of questions and opinions times without number here. It doesn't change anything because you'll keep on getting similar answers and suggestions. There's no specific perfect time to buy bitcoin other than when you have the means to buy. Anytime you have money to invest is the best time for you to buy regardless of the price. The lowest price was March which I think was around 20k$ the drop last month wasn't probably a big drop the lowest I can remember was around 38k$ which is I think just a correction because of the ETF hype I think but there wasn't really any major drop since the market gain momentum when the price was around 20k$. Personally, I really expect the market price to drop even though the price is 42k$ which already gained a lot because just like I've said the market price was around 20k$ in March last year so we got x2 in almost a year which for sure is a great growth of momentum on the market, But at this time is where a lot of newcomers gain in into cryptocurrency so we could easily expect a lot of FUD in the market especially because of the Bitcoin halving event. I have same feelings like you also because at the moment Bitcoin is too expensive and since the anticipated bull market is still far aways and 50k+ is such a high price already,  am afraid that jumping into investing in Bitcoin right now may be a big ball in a small cycle and at that you may be over stressed before the full value pull out of the current cycle,  so for that I may have to wait for a whole with the hope that Bitcoin price may give a discount opportunity before the main ATH which is right now unspecified in terms of timing.

I don't think we should wait for the best time to buy bitcoins whenever we buy bitcoins is the best time for us.We can buy bitcoin anytime if we have enough money to buy. When the price of bitcoin is low, we may think that it is the best time for bitcoin because we can buy more bitcoins with that money. When the price of Bitcoin goes down, it creates an additional opportunity for all of us to buy Bitcoin. Personally , I think Bitcoin should make another correction until summer and 50k might be the target. If that happens , I doubt right now is a good moment to invest in Bitcoin but it might be a great opportunity to invest in some altcoins. However, if you want to invest in BTC for long term , buying right now shouldn't be a problem but like I said , I still believe BTC will do another dip in the next couple of months.
