For me this is good news to Filipino crypto enthusiasts living and working abroad as they can now send remittances through this cryptocurrency related  innovation without any hassle.
I think the expansion of Coins.ph is a good idea, but when it comes to exchanges, there are probably better options available in different countries. Even Filipino citizens have issues with Coins.ph for various reasons. Moreover, even if Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) use Coins.ph as a remittance service, it will only be hassle-free if the banks in those countries allow cash-in methods through banks. Otherwise, they will have to cash in through remittance outlets, which involves similar steps when they are sending money directly to their family's bank accounts through remittances.

Yes a good developments to be made since there's a lot of people now using online wallets to settle up something especially for payment or other transactions that they want to make. That's why having this would provably make things easy especially if you want to deal it on single platform which expanding their services globally.

But lets do hope we can't see any more issue since so far many Filipino crypto users avoid to use this wallet due to some unwanted things happening due to strict requirements or regulations happening.

Also they need to increase their manpower since so far I read a lot of claims regarding on their slow support and that's bad for people waiting their issue to be resolved that's why they need to do more better job their to provide good service to their clients.

Any service that helps workers to send cash back home to loved ones is great. Low earners struggle to find affordable remittance services with low fees so if Filipino workers can take advantage of this service then it’s really good to see. Bitcoin is helping people & changing lives.

Well, considering how coins. ph has been crypto-centric with its development the past few years, I guess it's no surprise with the way they're trying to expand their business and reach a wider scope. Just that I don't think it's the better option when considering other options available out there. Sure it may become relevant in the next few months if Binance will continue to be blacklisted by the PH gov (geo blocking only afaik?) but again, there are probably other better alternatives we Filipinos can access, just a matter of preference and how used people are using it I guess.

And to add, Gcash also added a crypto platform (idk when exactly) without killing any of the other features it had started with, so I honestly think a lot more people prefer it compared to coins.

Woah! that's nice to hear, It will surely speed up the transfer of money by other Filipinos, especially those people live or working in other countries, it will be less hassle and more convenient, it will be a big help to everyone and maybe this will be the reason for more people using coins.ph in different parts of the world. Hopefully the US and Canada can secure a license soon, especially since we have many fellow Filipinos who will be working there.

BIG WINNER!

This a great news coming from the Philippines and also a plus to crypto users in the country. The main focus of Coins.ph should be how to secure licences from countries like the US and other super economies in Asia. This is because these nations have more Filipinos and they also earn higher salaries. But we still appreciate Coins.Ph CEO Wei Zhou and his team for helping people to send remittances to friends and families.

I don't live in the Philippines and don't know much about the platform. But they have to take the issue of customer support very seriously because it is important for the reputation of the firm. Many organisations are using modern technology such as artificial intelligence to support their customer service team. The strict regulation issues might be related to the laws that guide crypto services in the country.

Why do they need a license in those countries or to operate there? Isn’t it possible to register in them using a Philippine passport and withdraw money? If I were a Filipino and were in Germany, I would send my family USDT or bitcoin and one of the family members would register on Coins.ph and withdraw the money.

It's for the exchange itself to register to those countries for their license to operate. Just like Binance, they need to register in the countries where they are operating. More of a compliance to the regulation by the government of those countries. Like an issue here in our country in the Philippines for Binance. Soon, Binance is about to get banned like in less than a month now because they haven't secured any license to operate here and that's the same for coins.ph if they're expanding in other countries. As for the users, we don't have problem with the compliance to what the exchange(coins.ph) is asking us for any requirement to use their platform, send, receive, exchange and any other service they offer.

Does it mean that Crytop was not formally a legalized currency within these continents and countries in the first place? Is it specifically programed a permission to send money across these regions through cryptocurrencies or is trading and hodling of ones coins also permited?

However, it is a great development because the more the adoptations of crytop is spreaded, the better for crytop holders and investors.

It may be good news to see the expansion of coins in other countries, but that also makes no difference for sure when it comes to the spread that they have in their system. Maybe the spread that they make in other countries will be even higher.

Because if it's just here in the Philippines, the spread is already very high, which means I don't believe that the spread in other countries is low; I'm pretty sure it's even higher. In other words, if I'm a crypto enthusiast and I'll know that the deduction fee is high and there are those that are even lower, of course I am the one with the lower fee.

Electrum and other crypto wallet already covered global remittances online since CEX offers P2P and OTC transactions to convert crypto to Fiat. I stop using coins.ph long time ago because of their pesky KYC that needs to renew yearly in regular basis just to maintain your limits plus their video KYC that will ask you about all your transaction.

This wallet provider is hassle for those who have a high volume transaction. I still preferred the use of CEX compared to this custodial wallet that has an annoying KYC than CEX.

It is already expected that they will increase their staff if they plan to expand their services to other countries. In addition, it would be beneficial for them to establish a physical office in their target countries so that people can easily visit their office for any inquiries or concerns they may have.

Coins.ph is to expand it's services into Europe, Latin America, Australia and Africa and any users in these countries either Filipinos or not they can now send crypto in the Philippines. Though US was not on the list but they said securing licenses to this country is way too expensive just like Japan, South Korea and Hongkong but they are aiming to get one in the near future.

Wow, I haven't heard about Coins.ph for a long time. I stopped using Coins.ph because I discovered new and more advanced exchanges or wallets on the internet, but now seeing that Coins.ph is still doing its best to survive and follow the trend, it's a good thing that they decided to reach out to other countries because it means more people can use their platform and more target users. This may be a first trial. That's why they selected only a few countries, and not all countries are open to crypto currency. But to think that a Philippine crypto currency exchange platform can be accessed by different countries, I hope they add more features so that they can keep up with other platforms. Because many of them are very advanced and offer a lot of services, Coins.ph should come up with features of their own for them to have an edge or unique identity.

That's amazing! With coins.ph expanding, for sure more Filipinos and other nationalities will be exposed to cryptocurrency.
Another thing I observed in coins.ph is they are really working hard to be able support other cryptocurrency deposits, it's like they already competing in popular centralized exchanges.
