Just a foolish poll
None of the above.  (I run CPU miners in PPS or share-based pools.)

Tips are always welcome and can be sent to 1CZ8QgBWZSV3nLLqRk2BD3B4qDbpWAEDCZ

Thanks to ye, we have the final piece.

Up until recently all the bitcoin I have have been generated with CPU power but thanks to the much increased difficulty it's no longer worth it or economical to use my CPU. Instead I bought me a 5970 :p

I remember the good ol days when I used to generate a 50 BTC block every hour or so...

I generated three blocks on a 2Mhash/sec laptop back in July in around two days.  Unfortunately, I shut off generation afterwards as I didn't see any value in btc back then.

Did the same fool thing. Generated a couple of blocks last August, and then forgot about Bitcoin for six months. Turned it back on in February and generated a third block in just a couple of days. I was most surprised when I shortly thereafter found out that the difficulty was high enough that CPU miners weren't expected to generate any blocks in any reasonable amount of time.

error, I did almost the same thing - not six months but almost close to it. My biggest regret is not being one of the first people to use GPUs for mining. No doubt many others share my regret.

Those were the "good ol' days" Smiley

I wonder if we're ever gonna find out who the "richest" bitcoin user is.

It's probably satoshi.  That's why he's not online.  He's probably rented a nice pad and is getting strippers with bitcoin as we speak.  Or maybe Gavin or one of the other main developers...

But, hey.  Satoshi deserves the pussy.

hehehe Smiley I agree. He definitely deserves it. The more I learn about bitcoin the more technically impressive it seems to me.
