Tesla isn't any faster at mining.  Tesla is just the consumer-end GPU slapped on a PCB with more RAM...  and the drivers are unlocked to allow more double precision floating point operations.  In other words, they just castrate the consumer end cards through software.

As far as I'm aware though, Bitcoin mining doesn't use many (any?) double precision calculation to form hashes.  Pretty sure on this one, but not 100 percent sure.
