Just curious...

Corporations have been enthroned, An era of corruption in high places will follow and the money power will endeavor to prolong its reign by working on the prejudices of the people until wealth is aggregated in a few hands and the Republic is destroyed. ~Abe Lincoln 1ApJdWUdSWYw8n8HEATYhHXA9EYoRTy7c4

Tesla isn't any faster at mining.  Tesla is just the consumer-end GPU slapped on a PCB with more RAM...  and the drivers are unlocked to allow more double precision floating point operations.  In other words, they just castrate the consumer end cards through software.

As far as I'm aware though, Bitcoin mining doesn't use many (any?) double precision calculation to form hashes.  Pretty sure on this one, but not 100 percent sure.

Correct.

Do a search on "nVidia" and read the well written threads that are already out there on this topic.
