With regards to the distribution  of ALT token claim which began yesterday at 12:00PM with 300 million tokens distributed for the first batch of the Airdrop event valued at approximately $96m at the price of $0.32 per token, there has been excitement as to whether Airdrop season is back as Multi-layer roll-up distributor  Dymension is also planning to launch its mainnet in coming days with 70 million DYM token allocated  for the Airdrop event.

What captivated my interest was the drastic surge in the mcap of ALT after launch. With market cap currently around $365M and FDV of over $3B. It's important to note that only 3% of ALT total supply of 10B token was airdropped with top addresses claiming 1.29M and 1.19M tokens worth $420k and $388k respectively at the price of $0.32.

With the current positive price action, this proves that investors are Keen about the project hence the continuous surge in price since listing. Several top Cex have already  listed the token on their platform leaving me with the question if ALT is worth investing in?

I do believe that airdrops were valuable before but not today. Some show good prices in exchanges but nobody is buying it and that is still useless. I could say this because I have that experience already and holders want to sell but it can't as nobody is buying. I can not long be deceived by the hype of this tokens, every description here about the ALT token is absolutely a good for nothing hype most of have hard bad experience from airdrops of this nature. its most likely a scam project with so much hype just to get attention abd after some good fixed price in the beginning, when investors buy it keeps depreciating in price till it falls to a 90% and never increase leaving all investors shattered with worthless tokens or should i say a number put together backed by some little but nonsense price.

If you think airdrop is back you can keep up with them, if only your aren't shilling for the project team but one thing I know for sure is in the crypto space ones a trend is over that particular strategy is over. Investor are always in search of new trends not the old ones so airdrops are past you should be looking at the new trends to catch some few dollars from it.

What is good about airdrops is that they are free so you would not exactly be losing money if you acquire some tokens from airdrops but it does not get listed or it does not get any real value in the future but still some airdrops do get value later on so you just have to keep holding and wait for the right time to sell

But I do agree about this to some extend. For people who have a real job and valued their time, spending time on their job or improving their skill related to their job is definitely more time worthy rather than trying to find a good airdrop, but for people who has much spare time airdrop is still worth their time since their time has no value at all. Especially in the bullish time like this, there will be more airdrop that actually can be turned into some real money.

He is talking about $ALT token which is native token of Altlayer that recently airdrop to all user eligible to claim. It’s already listed on huge exchange such as Binance and Huobi. You can more info about this token on this https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/altlayer/#Markets.

This is another big airdrop next to Celestia that provides solid profit to eligible receiver. There’s a lot of network that still not distributing their airdrop but it’s safe to assume that airdrop with valuable reward is indeed already started.

With airdrops, it appears with great intensity when projects also have plans to launch to access the speculated price increase cycles. And at the present time, we are also continuously witnessing many generous projects launching airdrops to the community.

Regarding ALT, I see it also has the potential to increase in price but maybe I have to be a little patient, or I can buy it cheap, or I will turn to another option because it is not the only opportunity.

No one surely know if it's worth investing when they've just given the airdrop and there were folks that have been profitable with it. This is always the case that we see for most of these airdrops and new projects. They're seem to be optimistic with their approach to the market with their early days but it's unknown if it's going to end there or there will be a welcoming throughout the period of time. Altlayer has been listed on Binance. It's the last project that launched on their launch pool.

Oh, I forgot Uniswap which is currently at the top right now, and where did it start? It started as an airdrop as well. Not worth investing in, eh? No real value? Arbitrum, SUI, and Celestia are now a billion-dollar project already. They're worthless then? I got Celestia tokens for free, and look what they are worth right now. I just held 2 tokens and I got a free token that can be a game-changer in the crypto space.

Don't generalize all airdrops as worthless, and not worth investing in. Yes most of them might end up worthless, but not all of them are worthless. Just look at the projects I mentioned, and tell them again that they're not worth investing in. Yes, I was also pessimistic about airdrops in the past, but when I started to join, I realized that it wasn't that bad. After all, the only thing that you will do is to participate on their testnet (which is sometimes free) and hold some coins (like in my case I'm holding ATOM).

So many things are happening this recent time and many projects I knew are just launching with huge momentum that could have given me a good profits. The funny part was that I participated in the airdop but it was too late before I noticed that the airdop I did was the fake one. Scammers was able to clone the site and use close relative name to create there own site decieving people to join the airdrop and buy the presale not knowing it was fake.

In truth, the airdrop season never ended. The year 2023 was more than fertile for easy money. And this year not be far behind, because it will feature airdrops from L0, ZKsynk, Starknet and other projects. Of course, the criteria for drops and the focus itself may change, but as long as developers need “high numbers” for their products, drops will continue.

I just want to respond to some of those who are saying it doesn't worth investing, etc. First of all we are just staking BNB or FUSDT and we are not really paying anything to be a part of this airdrop. But people need to understand that they stake good amount of BNB or FUSDT in order to receive tradeable amount of tokens in airdrop, else it would be sitting idle in your exchange or to be converted as dust tokens. I have participated in this airdrop and I didn't lose anything but rather gained some additional tokens, I would suggest everyone to participate in airdrop if you have a good amount else it wouldn't be beneficial.

Yes airdrop season ongoing and many people will miss out because they believe airdrops are waste of time. The list of airdrops I have qualified for keeps growing and many people are still in doubt.
The beautiful thing about crypto is that there are opportunities in everywhere you look, all you need to do is search deep to find them.

Nah, I don't think that airdrop season has begun, or at least airdrops are going to be worth in the future. Airdrop hype is over for many years now, specially it has been used as a instruments to scam investors as well.

I respectfully disagree, When you have access to legitimate information about airdrops, you realize they can provide huge opportunities. In the last year, airdrops like TIA and JTO made people serious money because they engaged with the projects early on. Similarly, $Alt was airdroped to users and yet is still one of the top gaining crypto on exchanges like Binance and Bitget. This demonstrates the strong fundamentals and community support behind Alt. While airdrops aren't guaranteed, interacting with promising projects like Altlayer in their early stages can be very lucrative.

Earning money from airdrop is not easy Many people may think that earning money from airdrop campaign is very easy. In my opinion earning money from airdrop campaigns is a lot of patience and luck if anyone can't airdrop then you have to constantly work on airdrop campaigns to earn. There have been several airdrop campaigns where people have made a lot of money. But anyone who wants can join good airdrop campaign if they have time.

ALT token we saw listed on some good Cex exchanges yesterday. $0.006 listing to $0.355 resulting in a 5600+% price increase. But I don't know what will happen in future but if you can invest at your own risk then you can invest.

Airdrops are mostly speculative engagement, which can be a waste of time and even be a big gain. Another project that recently announced their airdrop said that they had already taken the snapshot back in August 2023. That means all this time people were engaging with that protocol just wasted their time. So it will be up to the user and their strategy to farm this airdrop. Personally, I think if anyone has enough time they should focus on task-based airdrops like people are doing with linea and few other projects. If they don't have time but have money then try to participate in a project like eigenlayer where you just need to lock your ETH.

Whether it's airdrop season or not depends on how the crypto market is. the crypto market is improving, the airdrop will provide quite good rewards. There are only a few airdrops that provide big and even unexpected rewards. The airdrop is free and you only need to complete the tasks given. Sometimes the airdrop lasts long enough to make some people feel bored and not doing their job, even though it provides quite a big prize. maybe just a 100:1 airdrop will provide unexpected rewards.
