My personal theory is that man planned to go gambling and only stay in the casino for a moment, however he may have gotten hooked to the games in the casino and before he realized, 5 hour had already happened. This story has little to do with gambling, so imo gambling reputation got minimum hard. That’s a crazy story. I couldn’t imagine the type of thinking behind this. Letting your own kids be home alone at this age could result in literally anything happening to them. Crappy parenting. I would never do this to my kids. I'd rather stick at home and gamble using my computer with the internet than go to a physical casino just to satisfy my urge to play or bet.
Whoever that Dad is, he is out of his mind and he badly needs some help. A man who is in his right mind will never leave their kids at home, especially 2-year-old kids.

This is an example of a useless father and one of the reasons why women are preferred to have children by law. But let me guess that the kids were sleeping when he left and started playing outside when they saw no one around, but he shouldn't have stayed that long knowing that little children were at home.

If I had my way with this kind of person or he is in one of the Muslim countries, I would suggest that he should be handed 100 strokes of the cane. By this, next time, he would know the severity of his action which could cost the kids their lives. Had it been he went for something so important and unavoidable, it would have been better. This is unthinkable. There is a criminal liability in this act. The father is not in his right mind to leave his two-year-old kids alone. I have seen outrageous acts committed by addicted gamblers, but a father leaving his two-year-old children alone while he is gambling is just outrageous.

I agree with you, in my opinion this is indeed a case of gambling addiction, because if it's just for fun of course actions like this don't happen, leaving your child alone at home for a long time just to gamble is certainly not a commendable behavior. What kind of father would have the heart to leave his young child without being able to take care of himself properly? That man doesn't deserve to raise these kids. He fucked up badly and somehow I think that wasn't his first fuck up. He needs to be rehabilitated asap. Those kids...
