Don't know if I'm being too emotional here but I think my activity's stuck when it's just 2 left for me to achieve my senior member rank. Anyone here has an experience of what makes mine stuck  ?
I tried reading through the forum about merits and activity and it seems activity is supposed to add up every 14 days so does this mean I have to wait for 2weeks 🥺

2 weeks earlier or later, it doesn’t really matter. You have already accumulated enough merit (more than 250), which means you will one way or another get Sr.Member rank .

You will at least reach this rank (I perfectly understand that you want to do this as quickly as possible) and I don't at all criticize your “pain” for this post. But many others can't surpass their current ranks for a long time. So, your “problem” can still be envied.

I know you are very excited to rank up to Sr Member, but each of us also has to wait until the activity points are updated every 14 days. You just need to be patient to get it in the next 14 days, we are all the same. Don't rush because the activity points will be updated automatically every period, so you just need to wait for the time to arrive.

The activity system applies to all users, I mean the activity will be updated by 14 points in 14 days (per period), so of course you need to be patient without worrying.

That was intended by the moderators in here so as to make sure that those who are able to get to higher ranks duly deserve it. Not to take the spotlight away from you but if I'm not mistaken it took me quite a long while as well to actually get to the Hero Member Rank, and now that this account's my account's almost 10 years now I'm still a couple hundred merits away from getting the legendary rank. I don't intend to push for it to be hastened as I want organic ranking and I'm pretty sure as you progress to the ranks you'd wish it was that way as well.

The best thing to do right now really is have the patience of a saint, consistently drive content and improve upon your posting quality and habits. The statement "great effort in bitcointalk goes unmerited" is not as true as one might think, as we have a couple of great merit sources here who would gladly take up a look at your account and posts and grant you merits based on the quality of your posts.

All you really have to do at this point is not be discouraged that it's taking so long for you to reach the Sr. Member rank, push to get more content out but don't be spammy, be helpful to people and give them valuable insights/opinions, be honest and create a positive impact in this forum and I'll bet you my bottom dollar you'd get the Sr. member rank eventually.

And this goes for everyone, as for you, just keep posting and pushing out content, the activities here are update on a regular basis anyway so in no time your rank's gonna be updated. The more you wait for it the longer it's gonna take.

Hey, look at me !! I have enough merits to became a Sr but unable to due to lack of activity, lol. I guess we are on the same boat now. I'll have to keep posting and wait at least a month, to became a Sr. Everyone have to walk this path to rank up.

Haven't you read the activity rules? activity will increase every two weeks and since you already have enough merit, you just need to wait until you have enough activity to rank up to Sr.

You can find out when the activity schedule changes every two weeks through this spreadsheet. Don't worry budd, in 2 weeks you will rank up, congratulations

yes, you are in the same boat as OP. but maybe the OP will achieve the ranking increase target faster than you. It's not a problem, you just need to be patient and your activity will increase gradually.
I don't think this is sadness, maybe you or OP want to immediately celebrate the improvements achieved. it was indeed amazing and fun. but stay calm and patient, there is no need to be in too much of a rush to reach a higher level.

OP I quite understand how you feel as activity is almost same with merit because there are also some times when you might have gotten the required activity but needed like 2 or 3 merit to reach your next rank but you would be finding difficult to get it as it can even take you up to a week(s) to finally succeed so you should be thankful that you've made good contributions to the forum that's why you've earned lots of merits and as a result of that your merit has already surpassed your activity and the number of merit required for your next rank but however, you need to be patient because you will actually reach your next rank in about 10 days from now. I say congratulations to you on your senior member rank as you await your activity to be fully confirmed!

No, this isn't sadness at all, it's pure happiness. I was just expressing my thoughts to OP. You know? I mean it felt good to know that, someone also is on the same boat as me. Me and OP . That's why I immediately made that comment the moment I saw OP's post.

I am calm. I have been patiently waiting for this day for months. I think I can keep up. I just have to wait till February ends.

You've waited for a long time to become a Full Member and you've painstakingly gathered all that merits, I don't think that you can get through this worry, homestretch is always the longest so don't sweat it out and just keep on posting and if you're chasing chance for a Senior Member promotion for your signature campaign then I think that it's in your best interest to talk to the campaign manager if there's a possibility that you can secure that position to wait for your ranking up.

C'mon, I initially thought it was a technical problem but when I read through the thread, I discovered that you didn't post again to put people through to better understand whether it is a technical issue or not (if that is the issue). This means you are talking about the normally remaining activities without any issues in your account. Well, you should have known better than this. You started from Brand new till you got to the Full member status, you know how it is and it doesn't call for attraction as it will naturally fulfil its course just as it is for everyone.

During my time too, I had the 2 activities delayed but I never mentioned it just like any other people I know here because once it's a rule, it is a rule. You are only too expectant, maybe for more pay on your campaign. But what if the space is not open when you are a Senior member and have to wait further? This happened to me twice, but since it is a normal thing, I let go.

My dear you need no worry about the activity, like you said it's suppose to add up every 14 days, yes that's true. But my advise to you on this issue is to continue doing your thing because if you keep paying attention to it I think it will be like nothing is adding up and whenever you keep thinking about it you may lose concentration on whatever you're doing. I know it's sad and painful at the same time but try your best on doing your thing, before you know it one day you'd login and your rank will be showing Sr. Member.

It's okay Op and I think the forum gave you a little bit intense, cause that feeling only 2 more activity then you can unlock the senior member rank here in our community . Anyways like what other said above 2, weeks is not just far you have to wait it then for sure you will get what you want and celebrate your rankup.
And also remember this op we have the sayings that (every achievements is the beginning of challenges) in short you need to keep moving forward and face those challenges in your journey.

I was about to unload a haul-ass load of words at you at first not gonna lie lol. I thought you were mocking OP for asking for something that they rightfully deserve.

In any case I don't think there's anything wrong about posting topics like that here, Meta after all's supposed to be your go-to place for anything that bugs you within this forum. There have been instances where your activities aren't being recorded for a while and it became a cause for concern amongst many, you think the people in here would get their issues resolved if we just stayed silent about it? Nope. We need the forum mods to know about what's going on, and this goes for anything that you deem is a problem.

As for you Dying Soul, I really suggest pushing out more content and particularly creating compelling posts that people can resonate with. I found that to be one of the most effective ways for your activity count to shoot up. I'm not sure what the calculations are for activities and I know that sometimes there were instances of it being lately updated but if that's not applicable to you, and again, this goes for everyone who might have had this issue at the moment, then go for posting original content here. Bitcoin Discussion's one of the easiest to go through as well as economy and I find those boards way more interactive as well.

Are you surprised?😁😁 It's obvious it's an alternative account which already knows the in and out, the up's and down of the things going on the forum. The way he details every info about the slots about rollbit probably opening shows or tell he definitely does his assignment on things here.

For the issue of pending activity, Op knows pretty well and I think he or she is just probably excited to hit the new rank but that's why the merit system is so unique, its make it look genuine that no one can actually run faster than their shadows and we all gat to follow the process but it turns really hard when the merits aren't there and the activity is already above it.

Anyway, in addition to echoing everyone's "be patient!" comments I'd add that OP and Nwada001 are fortunate to have enough merits stacked up such that they'll reach their next rank just by gaining activity points.  It could be a hell of a lot worse, and it is for a lot of members who have a hard time making posts good enough to earn merits.  So I'd say you've both got luxury problems, so to speak.  Just wait until you're eligible to get Legendary rank.  It's a crapshoot as to what activity count you'll actually achieve it, and if you're impatient now just check back when you're a Hero with 1000 merits or more and you've hit the minimum activity for Legendary.  Every week you'll be pulling your hair out.  Lol.

Heed what @The Sceptical Chymist says OP, it's the truth and it's not like you're going to be getting into a world of pain if you don't quickly rank up to a Senior Member rank and I'd also like to add that it's a good idea if you don't spend all your time in the forum if you can help it, there's always fun thing to do outside the forum so chill out. I don't think that I'll ever get to that point where I wait for my activity to match the requirements for a rank up so it's a blessing sort of and there's no hair to pull out of me, been clean shaven for about a year now lmao.

This is indeed the most important thing. I am also waiting to become Hero Member, since I have already gathered the merits needed. But, meanwhile, I have decided to challenge myself to get the merits needed for Legendary rank, before I become Hero member. Just for fun

Yea, this is true, as I have also noticed that over the little time I've been here, if you are chasing the merit, you can only end up not getting it, or even if you get it, it can't exceed a certain limit as the tactics you might be using might end up failing you, but when you are being your self-learning and contributing positively in the little ways you can, you can just see the merits coming even when you less expect them. I was given advice when I was coming up on the forum by one member whom I respect so much. The statement was, "Don't chase merit; allow merit to chase you."
