Whatsminer M32 Firmware Update Error File is missing oder damaged

You are now my last hope and hopefully salvation.

the following:
I have a Whatsminer M32.

Unfortunately it gives error code 200 (Power probing error, no power found).
Whatsminer says that my firmware is too old and I should solve that first.
Firmware on the miner: 20210525.15.REL

Unfortunately, when I try to use the miner with the new firmware (Whatsminer-M6x&M5x&M3x-all-20230911.12) I always get the error message:
Upgrade dependency file missing or corrupted, please wait for download or contact customer service.

I have now tried this with several Windows computers. the same error over and over again. Am I missing something? I followed the instructions from Whatsminer (video) but it just doesn't work

I go about it like this:

1. Download WhatsminerTool-8.2.1.zip (File name: 1695262812925WhatsminerTool-8.2.1.zip)
2. Download Whatsminer-M6x&M5x&M3x-all-20230911.12.bin (File name: 1699425181827Whatsminer-M6x&M5x&M3x-all-20230911.12.bin)
3. Extract WhatsminerTool-8.2.1.zip
4. Start WhatsMinerTool as administrator
5. Scan for the MinerIp with “Start”
6. Mark the miner and go to "Upgrade"
7. Select the file "1699425181827Whatsminer-M6x&M5x&M3x-all-20230911.12.bin" and press "Start Upgrade"
Then comes the error.

In the meantime I haven't changed or moved any files.
I've already tried this with Windows 10 and 11 (64bit) and Windows 7 (32bit), without success. Turning antivirus on or off didn't help either.

Any idea?

If not, try to do this hold the "reset" button for 5 seconds to reset the unit to factory default let it reboot for 30 seconds, and then use the "IP found" button to find the IP.

Repeat the upgrade procedure once the error code turns to normal.

I have normal access to the miner interface... I call up the IP in the browser and log in with admin/admin account.

Miner reset didn't work either.
The older firmware also gives the same error.

There might be something that blocking this unit to upgrade to the latest version.
Have you flashed it with modded or custom firmware through an SD card?


One last thing that I would like you to try is to switch the unit from DHCP to static.
Please follow the procedure from this link below to change IP and DNS.

Once you successfully configure it try to upgrade it again. If it does not work try disabling the firewall on the router or disable the antivirus then try to upgrade the unit again.

The miner was previously used somewhere else. I bought it and it worked for me for over 2 years.

I currently log in to the miner overview with admin / admin.'
I can't adjust this in the Whatsminer tool. a possible reason?

According to the manual that's the default user and password.

If the flashing through the Whatsminer tool does not work try to flash it through an SD card you can download the SD card firmware from this link below

Once you download it you need to burn the firmware using phoenixcard you can follow the guide from this link below and also check the exact model of the control board before you download and burning the SD card firmware.

It worked well with the instructions except for the restart. turned it off for a minute and turned it back on and I couldn't find the miner on the network anymore. IP detection also didn't work. I unplugged the miner and router for 5 minutes and now everything seems to be working.

That's a good update like I said in my previous post there is something blocking it from upgrading the unit so I guess the router itself is the culprit.
