🚀 Smartie (SMT) Is Back — A Clean Reset, A New Chapter 🔥
Today we officially announce the rebirth of
Smartie (SMT).
This is not a patch.
This is not a cosmetic update.
This is a full reset — done the right way.
📜 Why the Reset?Smartie was my first blockchain project.
It lived, it grew, it faced challenges — and it taught lessons that only come from building in public.
Over time, several structural decisions made in the early days created long-term pressure on the project. A large premine, concentrated early supply, and an aging inherited codebase created unnecessary friction and damaged confidence — even though nothing was ever hidden and the full history was always left public.
Instead of rewriting history or pretending nothing happened, I chose something harder:
A full reset.
Not to erase the past —
but to rebuild with what I’ve learned.

Combined with the YesPower CPU-friendly mining algorithm, SMT is now stronger, cleaner, and future-ready.
The previous version of SMT was built on a legacy codebase with structural limitations and aging components. While significant work was done to keep it operational, it became clear that the foundation itself required modernization.
So instead of repairing old walls, we built a new house.
