I have tried to follow what you have said and it is really hard to convince yourself not to play more when you are losing. The same situation arises when I am winning, the difference is that I am using the winning money to continue my gambling. Basically all you need to do is let yourself be not consumed by gambling and you should be fine. Some people turn gambling into a lifestyle, and even though I never truly understood why they do that, that is also the reason why most people end up losing their money as well.
