These days, the cryptocurrency market is going up, but many new projects seem to be not so great. About 90% of them are meme coins, just for quick gains and not really useful. However, there's that remaining 10% with interesting and unique concepts. It's tough to find them, though. I came across a GameFi project named "Insurrection," which is play-to-earn. It caught my eye because the game is already live, playable, and looks professional. What do you think about getting involved in a gaming project like this in the current market?

I'll just say that if ever that you're into this type of investments, you have to make sure that you really follow the movement of these projects not just on the charts but also the community and updates that they have. big market for gaming industry only for those AAA games usually the project that tries to integrate blockchain with game fails short because lack of funding as well as lack of talent, the game produced out was mediocre at best, its always like they are just trying to recycle some shitty game that are sold for less than a thousand and give some nft implementation and call it a day.

I don't really fancy them until now, but there are definitely some project that gained success but honestly i know that majority of the fundings are not sufficient.
building game is expensive, if a project raised only few millions, we will definitely not expect it to produce game as good as GTA V.

I believe the trend of the so-called "play-to-earn" games is long gone at the state of the market. The biggest ecosystem of that sort games is Axie Infinity. They have got a very well done interface, thousands of collectible creatures, their have got their own wallet and Defi platform for people to swap their tokens for Wrapped Ethereum. In spite of all those advantages Axie Infinity had, the situation of the market has not been favorable for them since the trend and the hype of the market ran out. Why are we supposed to expect this project you are talking about is going to surpass or get more results through time?

The only way I would even consider to invest would be if the project did not try to attract people by branding themselves as the new "play-to-earn" experience. I think you should not make investment decisions based on these reasons you outlined here  if you want to invest in a good project, doing more intensive research should be what you should do and find out more about how they work, like how they plan on growing, a road map or something, cause many play to earn games are also shit projects and never make any real advancement, they could be very dull too.
You invests or the things that attract you are stuff that would attract people looking for fun not to invest, I think you should look out for other things too if your about the profit side.

Indeed, the gaming business is currently very good in this millenial.  maybe that attracts a lot of developers to try to take a chance.  But it looks like this is a new project.  I looked at their github page it's still empty.  The market list also seems to only be on Pancakeswap.  How can you know their projects so well?  About investment, maybe in the short term it might still work, especially for game lovers that must by their skin or etc. For a long term, I don't think this is likely to work.  because most projects related to games will not for standing.

I really believe they are paid for it because there is a pattern and I do not see how an individual will selflessly create an account here on BTT to shill a project if they aren’t paid or at least on the team of the project. What does the game offer? Is it an innovative, original and unique game which we haven't seen before on the internet? Is it going to overcome the popular titles of the genre it belongs? If your answer is yes, then I would say you to invest in this game immediately.

the bear market ruins the taste of those who invested in Axie, i was also among those who are interested in trying it out. but i was glad i didn't jump on that bandwagon because it ended up being so disastrous when prices just fell.

all the people i knew who tried it were very happy at first but now it looks like they are just regretting. they didn't give up though. somehow the game didn't die despite the hacks and all.

The crypto games market is not well regarded, practically all games were a financial pyramid style scam with the sole intention of taking money from players, this is a setback for any serious industry that thinks about making games based on blockchain.

Maybe if we had a large industry launching something really functional, like with microtransactions in some AAA game, things could change, but I think that's very difficult, each big gaming company has its own methods of making a profit and its market direction.

Yes many new accounts are questioning projects that we haven't even heard of, maybe they are one of the agents of the project or people who are confused about the project they found on their social media so they ask this forum, I think it doesn't matter as long as they don't recommend or share referrals to the thread they made.

Maybe like Axie and other Gamefi ranks that offer profitabilats when we play it, if the project and roadmap are clear and the income we get from the game can be calculated logically and we can sell what we have got from the game it is a good project especially if the project has many investors like binancelabs for example it is very potential, because many gamefi projects are not logical, I have been a gamefi hunter but from most of the standardization withdrawals are always high and very difficult. indeed just luring people into getting curious and see the project but lets be frank here nowadays if a project is game based, trying to give reward to its users, but if they are not even getting massive investment big investment company then I doubt it will be long lasting, at best 1 week after listing the coin gonna dumps because unsustaining tokenomic, the devs trying to make money by selling off the token they created or dumping it meanwhile the player also trying to make money by dumping the token they earned from playing the game grinding nonstop its overall just really bad view for us investors.

Yes, of course, this post and similar ones are just shilling here...promoting all they can so as to get more people to be interested and eventually maybe "invest" with the project. I am not into gaming really though I got some brief experience with P2E where players are more motivated with gains rather than playing itself...just looking for rewards when they are still have some value and then will be gone when the value of the P2E tokens is gone to the wind. We have already seen this same thing with hugely popular P2E gaming platforms two years ago. I am hoping that the project promoted by OP would not suffer the same fate.

Nothing is hidden underneath the sun indeed. These account just come here to gain traction to their website either because they are a team or paid for it. Imagine a website of just 5 days old and he sounded so positive. That’s another thing; they never mention the downside of the project, they never talk about what they don’t like, it’s always good words so people will think it’s the perfect project. If I pressed further and check their telegram (if they have any, which they normally do!), I’d definitely see other fishy attributes.

As I said if the argument he wrote does not have a referral code or advise someone in following the project it doesn't matter, and if the new account is affiliated with the project so he made a thread here it also doesn't matter as long as what I said earlier is not contained in his writing, maybe it is true that the slant in this case is so that people check out the project, maybe they just need reviews from people who visit the project and comment here. Whether or not people want to invest in the project because they're doing research and are interested on their own, I think that's fine, and there's no problem, because it goes back to each person.

Game projects are one of the great ideas for now. But so far I haven't found a game project that is really good and worth investing in. I just hope that the game project you said is really good because I see games have great potential in the future and currently international game competition is very big. There are a lot of sports that also have gaming competitions so I think it's a growing ecosystem.

Is this a marketing strategy to sell out your project or just a random post created for awareness, I refuse to believe this thread wasn't intentional to make people visit that projects because you are a newbie registered since 2021 only to make this as first post, no way! I'm going to drop my opinion just like the way other people has done.

If you own these project, scrappy it and do something better, no pun intended but that's the reality of current state of the market. I believe you have seen how many play to earn where forgotten so quickly and to tell you that these coins where venture funded and back by many teams from independent companies but take a minute and study play to earn coins and their chart, you will be ashame because they were all build on the pretense of hype. Yep. Many of new projects are just meme coins  or weak coins with lack of strong fundamentals. These coins are shit coins, they are created for pump-dump in a short time. It is difficult to expect these type of coins to last a long time in crypto industry. So, even if we want to invest in these coins, make sure we have an obvious target and never hold for a long time. If we have no enough knowledge about those shit coins, we are better to choose top altcoins who can have higher chance for gaining profits in the future.

To be fair only a handful are developed enough to consider themselves a "game". If it isn't the main few then it's a major risk imo.

Not worth yet for investing in gaming project exactly for long term investment, I think many gaming project price dropping drastically and not guarantee with top exchange already listing such as AXS as most popular gaming project coins but dropping drastically.
Most gaming project coins hype in short term only and difficult existing for longer time, after price of gaming project coins drop drastically very difficult recovery and return back to the higher price.

insurrection isn't popular though. an investor will expect returns when they invest and it's best for them to just invest in well-known p2e projects. Immutable (IMX) GALA and Sandbox are the most popular as of now and although this is based on the ranking on CMC, i think the ranks are true.

time will tell for these games however. AXS was once profitable but looking at it this time, it seems the people who are still up to playing there are the ones who has no choice but to keep playing and waiting for the bull run i guess.
