Is it valid to invest in a gaming projects?

These days, the cryptocurrency market is going up, but many new projects seem to be not so great. About 90% of them are meme coins, just for quick gains and not really useful. However, there's that remaining 10% with interesting and unique concepts. It's tough to find them, though. I came across a GameFi project named "Insurrection," which is play-to-earn. It caught my eye because the game is already live, playable, and looks professional. What do you think about getting involved in a gaming project like this in the current market?

Aside from it is something you can invest in, you might actually find it enjoyable and entertaining and like it said in its description there are a lot of earning opportunities not just in the form of investment

This types of projects will allow you to actually enjoy yourself while earning but note that you should still be careful and keep a level-head even when playing

was it launched already?  if a token doesn't have a high value or no big community behind it, the token will still be considered shitcoin like any other memecoins.
$SRPG token is not yet in the market and if it's only going to be listed in Pancake, then this isn't a big project as well.

but the new generation today are fond of playing games though so as long as they don't have something else to do that demands their time, playing games like this will be a better option.

But to answer the context of this thread, gaming market is one of the biggest revenue generation and it's bigger than most of us thinking so a valid project with actual use case can become a thing but most projects launched related to gaming industry is just another bump and dump until now.

You have already said that they're for quick gains and that's what you need to know and as for the project that you've mentioned, no comment as well. I'll just say that if ever that you're into this type of investments, you have to make sure that you really follow the movement of these projects not just on the charts but also the community and updates that they have. Many have lost a lot of money because they were too confident with the gaming projects that they have invested but resulted on a bad ending.

big market for gaming industry only for those AAA games usually the project that tries to integrate blockchain with game fails short because lack of funding as well as lack of talent, the game produced out was mediocre at best, its always like they are just trying to recycle some shitty game that are sold for less than a thousand and give some nft implementation and call it a day.
thats why i agree as you said its just pump and dump with gaming industry that uses blockchain and cryptocurrency as marketing purposes.
I don't really fancy them until now, but there are definitely some project that gained success but honestly i know that majority of the fundings are not sufficient.
building game is expensive, if a project raised only few millions, we will definitely not expect it to produce game as good as GTA V.

I believe the trend of the so-called "play-to-earn" games is long gone at the state of the market. The biggest ecosystem of that sort games is Axie Infinity. They have got a very well done interface, thousands of collectible creatures, their have got their own wallet and Defi platform for people to swap their tokens for Wrapped Ethereum. In spite of all those advantages Axie Infinity had, the situation of the market has not been favorable for them since the trend and the hype of the market ran out. Why are we supposed to expect this project you are talking about is going to surpass or get more results through time?
I would be very skeptical before investing my money on any project whose main objective is to get into the market of gaming.
The only way I would even consider to invest would be if the project did not try to attract people by branding themselves as the new "play-to-earn" experience. All a good project needs to be successful for them to get attention is to deliveron what they promise, and for them to deliver on being a profitable experience in the long term, then it would take this game to have a massive fan base, full of people willing to spend money on the game, without expecting to make money out of it, just to have fun with it.

I think you should not make investment decisions based on these reasons you outlined here  if you want to invest in a good project, doing more intensive research should be what you should do and find out more about how they work, like how they plan on growing, a road map or something, cause many play to earn games are also shit projects and never make any real advancement, they could be very dull too.
You invests or the things that attract you are stuff that would attract people looking for fun not to invest, I think you should look out for other things too if your about the profit side.

I also observed that. Most of them will just be even a day old in BTT the next minute they even start teaching people mean why they are the ones that need to be taught.

For me I don't like those kind of projects . All are just like airdrop which sucks you dry and leaving you to nothing.

I've noticed this kind of project promotion too. Often, new accounts start discussions, pretending to seek advice on the forum about opinions on a specific project. It's suspicious because, if you look closely, this is their first-ever post, and they immediately ask a question about that project. It's a bit strange. Often, this is a method to garner attention and support. However, it's still crucial to be discerning and maintain a critical perspective to avoid being deceived by such tactics in the forum.

Indeed, the gaming business is currently very good in this millenial.  maybe that attracts a lot of developers to try to take a chance.  But it looks like this is a new project.  I looked at their github page it's still empty.  The market list also seems to only be on Pancakeswap.  How can you know their projects so well?  About investment, maybe in the short term it might still work, especially for game lovers that must by their skin or etc. For a long term, I don't think this is likely to work.  because most projects related to games will not for standing.

In fact, it is very difficult to find reliable projects.  But if you can find a good project once you are lucky.  I can't say exactly how the gaming projects will be.  But since there's a bit of entertainment here I feel pretty good.  But I would say to invest wisely.  Don't lose everything while getting entertainment.  Because gaming sites are often phishing.  A lot of people fall prey to scams with the lure of entertainment.  So think carefully and know well and then invest.

Use the right legit information and invest wisely in the market, always keep your expectations low because there are different kind of projects that stimulates our hopes and at the end of the day, there's nothing to get concerned about. There are numerous opportunities in the market, we're open to milking the system with every technique we think is executable in the market. We ought to invest in projects that have good road map and promising in the future, I've never given up my hope on crypto projects, I've seen major profits and also experienced losses from the system.

I really believe they are paid for it because there is a pattern and I do not see how an individual will selflessly create an account here on BTT to shill a project if they aren’t paid or at least on the team of the project. Nonetheless, I’m not sure if it’s against the rules. Time will tell. Maybe if it gets worse the moderator will do something about it.

What does the game offer? Is it an innovative, original and unique game which we haven't seen before on the internet? Is it going to overcome the popular titles of the genre it belongs? If your answer is yes, then I would say you to invest in this game immediately.

However, if you aren't sure or if your answer is no, then definitely you shouldn't go ahead, because it's probably just another copy from any popular consolidated MMORPGs of the moment trying to milk some money from crypto enthusiasts through speculation.

Gaming projects were a hot topic in the last bull market of 2021, although they didn't last once crypto entered a bearish market in 2022, so if you are going to decide investing on these projects, be assured they might work temporarily due to the hype factor, and not exactly because the games are enjoyable and long lasting.

Even the ones which are enjoyable don't have a decent flux of new content being added to the game, or are neglected by developers who allow massive abusers to take advantage of the game through bots, hacks and multiple accounts. Considering you have invested money in a game like this, then it becomes a big issue because the tendency is that legit players will get annoyed and leave, remaining only the cheaters who subtract and prejudice the ecosystem, so think carefully before putting money into something you are likely to not be able to recover later.

Gaming projects isn't the hype anymore, but there are still a few games that are being created, and one of them is the XAI (though I didn't look at it).

Most of the gaming projects aren't that entertaining, and that's a fact. Most of the blockchain games are focusing on the aspect of earning money, and not on the aspect of it being fun to play. After Axie Infinity, I don't think if I will ever touch any blockchain games still, but as a gamer, if I will pick some games then I'll go on what I love to play which is MMORPG games.

the bear market ruins the taste of those who invested in Axie, i was also among those who are interested in trying it out. but i was glad i didn't jump on that bandwagon because it ended up being so disastrous when prices just fell.

all the people i knew who tried it were very happy at first but now it looks like they are just regretting. they didn't give up though. somehow the game didn't die despite the hacks and all.

This is very similar to the advertising of the project. But if opinion is important to you, the project is bottom. I watched the video on YouTube and the impression is just terrible. The listing was announced on Pancakeswap, and then on OK, Huobi and MEXC, which I personally do not believe. Write that the game is already working and you can play, but there are no links to the game itself anywhere. In general, according to the site and where the tokensale will take place, it seems that schoolchildren were doing this.

I don't know which gaming Project OP representing but investing in good gaming projects is a good idea in altcoins. I also have one gaming project in my portfolio which I am holding for long term. Well, Gaming projects give more rewards when the gaming season is on peak if I am not wrong as the time of gaming 2021 was at a peak and many gaming projects pumps very well on the other hand it was also bull season. Always be picky while investing in alt projects. DYOR
