The police man asked him again the phone you are using how long have you been using it?
The guy at this point has not realised something is wrong, he said " officer i just bought this phone last.
Then the police man asked us to give him a minute. Behold when he returned he came with two heavily armed police officers. So they started to intorogate the guy if he has receipt for the phone. And if the guy can take them to the shop where he bought the phone. At that point it done to the guy that he has entered one chance. So the guy told them he bought the phone from someone. But he didnt know the person. So the police told him that the phone was reported to have been stolen and the owner came to report the matter at station with the phone serial number. That on putting his phone number on the biometric data base system it showed that his sim card is displaying on the serial number of that stolen phone.
Look at someone that innocently came to pick up certificate of no criminal record has find himself in hot soup for buying a phone from someone. The guy was thrown into the cell. What happened to him later i cant tell but what i saw thought me a great lesson.
Hence i decided to share this experience here so that others can also learn from it.

We need to dey guarded as well, I just dey waka one of this days for road na so one guy wey just carry small umbrella and chair keep for side of the road dey sell this big android phones for 5k and e dey work na so people gather the guy, if I talk say I no dey tempted to go there I dey lie even when I still get better phone I dey use but ThankGod I resist that thought I just continue my journey, after buying the phone I no know wetin fit xup.

Buying a second hand phone is not advisable,when the person sellin it to it’s not someone you know to well and even someone you know to well also.its not advisable to buy from them. I have been a victim of buying a phone from a friend in my area at home.which someone sold the phone to him.such unfortunate for us.the phone the sold to me,was gotten from a person been kidnapped and was charge for ransom. Which it was later track to us.so when that happened.it happened to be we got the vendor who sold the phone,but it’s not about getting the vendor who sold it,but the shame,energy and money spent to get our innocent self out the case from the police custody.so I advise everyone it’s better to save up to buy the phone your money can afford and not go for a cheaper rate or price.

Buying a second hand phone is bad run from it ,in the year 2010,a guy know as Pato stole phone and the phone worth 200k he don't even know the functions of the phone so he sold the phone to another person know as uche ,uche bought the phone from Pato hand ,the password he couldn't unlock it
So uche said since the phone is still on password that going to flash the phone will still take him money,so both of them bargain on price and Pato said the last price of the phone is 80k ,uche said no that he will pay 40k that is second hand phone , finally Pato agreed to sell the phone 50k last price uche accept to buy it at 50k but for now uche don't have the 50k that he should hold the 40k first ,that upper month when he receive his tax money in the market that he will give him the remaining 10k balance ,Pato accepted and handed the phone to urch without receipt,uche has been holding the phone for long without using the phone due to the password on it

So one day uche decided to flash the phone, though he has hold the phone almost 2weeks ,so when he decided to go and flash the phone behold ,the owner of the phone that Pato stole was in the stole asking the owner of the shop if any second hand phone for sell so he can manage,and uche came with that his phone ,you know that time that particular phone is not ranpard then ,so the owner of the phone as uche pls let me see the phone ,and uche gladly give him the phone to see ,the owner now tell uche how did you get this phone ,uche said he bought it as second hand in pato,s hand ,both of them gat to follow to see Pato ,when they meet Pato the owner ask Pato how did you get this phone ,Pato said is his phone ,before you know it their was a serious fight between the real owner of the phone and Pato who stole the phone,uche toke his phone and ran away

If i buy second hand phone before my hand mind will never rest, I will just be imagine things, what if police come and pick me up say the phone is stollen one, because i no want anything wey go join me with police case. This is true mate, they don't have the money to buy a new smart phone so they usually ended up buying a second hand or third hand phone from someone that they don't even know. I can remember fully well when I was a the road side and someone ask the next person that's closer to home that anytime he sees someone who's interested in selling his/her phone he should let him know (it's not good). It would be better to even get those that were refurbished and imported, better known as London used, from a dealer, than from a person who is familiar around your environment and it isn't their phone they are selling.

According to source, her phone was once stolen and her number was later used to carry out some criminal activity. She later retrieve her line and started using it and in a bid to trace the kidnapers, she  become the victim. Long story short, she was later release after series of trauma and psychological damage that was inflicted on her. The whole lesson is, in this digital age, you've got to be careful on who gets access to your details and whose details you keep in your possession.

Your illustrations are very good, the buying of this second hand phone of thing should be done with people you know that's if you must buy it, personally I don't like being involved in anything that will bring explanation later, this phone stuff has led many person to prison because of what they don't know, there are places stolen phone are been sold without the notice of the third party, we really need to be careful to this effect in other to avoid the consequences that comes with it.
