As of last year the past president  been talking and say farming is the only key for Nigerians little   
Success, so does this mean we all are to go back to farming this season? Do we all think it will be good for us to buy foods socks like rice from our own farm rice?? Will this add to our country economically ??
I gist this matter should be called a case study!!

The truth of that matter be say no be everybody go be farmers in this country. In my years on earth amd as a Nigerian citizen, I have come to the conclusion that you should only take what the government tells you with a grain a salt because only those who have out of their way to do things outside the control of the government are currently staying afloat in this abysmal economy.

What I mean by this is that good, and complaint citizens that chose a job that pays the minimum wage enforced by the "government" are the ones feeling the adverse effect of this economy. So anybody who listens to Tinibu and goes back to farming when the world is moving towards AI and fast-paced technological advancement, I am very sorry for such person. Just to confirm, I have nothing against farming and see agriculture as a viable if not solid means of income especially when done on a large scale but my point is the government could do better than this and they should.

I don't really understand what you are trying to say in this your post. Is it that you are asking us if farming is the way forward for the country, or you are complaining about the Nigerian current economic situation and the government performance so far?
Nevertheless farming is never a bad option, it will help our country become more of producing and exporting nation. Currently we are a consuming and importing nation and economy does not grow when everything we do is importation and consumption. Farming is going to generate more forex to the country, so if Nigeria go back to farming, I don't really see it as going backwards rather it is the right step taken in the right direction to salvage this country from economics stagnation.

In my opinion, I think yes is the answer, but there are some limiting factors, that might cause this practice not to florish well. 

First, you have to know that in the world Nigeria is one of the country that is blessed with good soil for the cultivation of many agricultural products. Again, there are still large empty land spaces, forests and bushes, which could be cleared and used for commercial agricultural production. 

The truth is that there is no too much engagement in agricultural production again. If it was, it would definitely contribute to the growth of the country's economy too. 

The limiting factor includes the emissions of some harmful gases into the air, that can accumulate in the atmosphere, and when rain falls, it can desend some of those harmful chemicals to the soil, and they can be taken up by the plan and can cause harm to human life, if such food is consumed. 

Another fact is that the Governments may be talking about improving in agricultural engagement, but they are not providing a quality support to those, who are interested to engage in agricultur. 

If those two factors are being considered, Nigeria will produce a large amount of farm products and can even export to other countries. If those food products are free of heavy metals that can cause harm to the human body when foreigners consume those foods, they can be exported.

Farming may no the be the only option but also can be a helping means which the country can help get a balance economy. Since not everybody can farm or has a plot of land to farm on, it would not be necessary to just rely on farming others jobs are also valid to keep the economy running. What Nigeria needs now is the industrialization of their raw products by themselves, cause I know rice can grow here and for our petroleum becomes the worst case, if only we had good refinaries everything would have been okay even without us alternating with farm works but farming can help us get better.

OP, farming go really help whoever go into am, because for man to survive man must eat well. Hungry no dey catch farmer because he already don take care of food wey be the number one basic need. If you check out farming na very lucrative business and those people wey be farmers dey even use farming dey build house and dey train their children go school. Some people think say farming na just to plant crops wey go give us food, but farming pass like that because if no be farming how we won take get raw materials for industry to convert to finish goods.

If Nigeria government fit focus on farming, i believe say we no go dey import many things wey we dey import, wey dey make our currency dey depreciate. Even though technology don come out, na to use that technology for farming to make work easier and faster. Those countries wey we dey fo import those goods wey we dey consume, if day them no farm how we go fit import am.

My brother if you get the opportunity to see land farm no dull am o, because as things dey cause farmers go only dey add money to their farm produce to fit take meet up with the level of inflation. To me some farmers still dey feed well pass some government workers, because as things dey cost, government no increase government workers salary, and time dey come wey those government workers salary fit no meet up with their needs due to everyday inflation wey dey happen for the country. Oya make we take example og Obasanjo farm for Otta, Ogun State.

As long as you dey eat farming go ever dey very important to the nation.

Farming is not the only option for Nigeria but Nigeria is a developing country that is coming up, it will be very good if we can focus on agriculture and do it well, it will really improve the economy of the country because the citizens will Need food and it can be exported to other countries.  After when Nigeria becomes a good agricultural productive country they can look into other areas that they can also depend on that will also be a source of income for the country.
