What's the biggest airdrop you've ever received?

i don't know if anybody remembers this, but Keybase gave airdrop of XLM, I received 60-80$ I think. That was my first airdrop, secondly comes with NOTcoin, where I received  over 100$ and dogs gave me a 20$ airdrop.

Airdrop are fun, easy to earn money but only if you give it time.

You must be a lucky participant in the airdrop era for you to make all these amounts within a short period of participating in airdrops. Many airdrop participants were never lucky when joining airdrops to make this kind of amount that considered fair.

I don’t think @R1dwanRz made so much money from Airdrops, the amount which he made is not something that’s go much. When people were still making money from Airdrops, if you participate in some airdrops, you going to make thousands of dollars from the airdrop, but that’s long time ago, but I don’t really think you going to get a airdrop which is going to pay so much again. To get even $10 from airdrop is now so difficult, but lots of people have made crazy amount of money from airdrops, now we have passed the era of airdrop and people don’t really pay attention to it again because they know most of the airdrops now do turn out to be a scam.

Chasing airdrop these days is a waste of time and data because all the task and watching of videos on YouTube will only benefit the developers, because after everything, you will be rewarded with $3 to $6 which is not even enough money for what you spent on data alone, so it's because of the experience of people that has done it in the past that has discouraged even those that want to engage in them because that airdrop era is gone. Now almost everybody knows of the benefit of cryptocurrency, they knows that it's real money, so even the developers think that they don't need to be too generous again like in the past that cryptocurrency was not that acceptable.

Truly the biggest airdrop I received is $NOT coin on Telegram but unfortunately I was not able to withdrawal it because my account get hacked when the time came to withdraw the staked coins received from free airdrop just for playing the game...

But I successfully received and cashout again when I received $DOGS again on telegram on my second account and this is the biggest airdrop I received till now ⚡ more then $35+ approximately 46000+ $DOGS I received.

Another airdrop PI which I currently have staked on my wallet which will available after 2028 and currently 14PI available.. All received from free mining on mobile phone free 100%

I missed $NOT because I didn't take  telegram minings seriously..when I decided to give them a try it was when they were about to list on exchanges. what I had mined didn't met the minimum requirement to receive the airdrops. I was mining $Hold coin,$Dogs and $Major simultaneously. Seeing how much $NOT coin paid people it motivated to take telegram airdrop seriously. The two telegram mining airdrops then I remembered benefiting from was just $Hold coin and $Dog coin..I made around $32 from $Hold coin and $24 from $Dogs, the payouts figures isn't accurate because it was a long time. $Major only rewarded me with $1, surprise right?  Telegram airdrops are becoming scam to steal Tons. It's a now waste of time because even if you donate  tons, they will only reward you with dusts.

That's exactly how the crypto ecosystem function, a situation where the first set of a project would give an impressive performance which would attract more interest just for ill gotted and scammers Devs to take advantage of the situation to creates a burst of the process. That's just what really happened with all the telegram airdrop projects, the next projects came in just to reap off the participants and exit while airdropping dust.

In the past, it was very hard for you to predict if an airdrop project is going to become successful and reward the community bountifully because of so many past projects that could not reward their participants that were taking their time to complete the airdrop so they can get rewarded by the team.

I haven't received so much with airdrops but I remember the biggest ones like the hydro airdrop.

I think it was the record breaking airdrop that have given to its participants. Then the rest that talks about the airdrops happened in the ton network.

They're nothing compared to the ones that have been done on ERC20.

Jup's airdop is fantastic. because it has just launched, it can immediately list to Binance too. So those who follow Jup's airdrop will definitely profit and win a lot.

once i claimed a huge amount of picoin through an airdrop. and yeah the ea of airdrop have changed. earlier they were actually a tool to attract user. now they have become just cheap marketing trick. now they will suck your time and data but will give you two penny chocolates,,

now the few projects that do give good airdrops have become much more sophisticated. it is difficult to get money out of them by just doing nominal work. they are looking for real on chain activity, there are no simple tasks

so now you can see airdrop project as a part time job if you have on chain knowledge or marketing experience. it would not be wise to spend all day and night on airdrops

From my experience in the past the tokenomics was all very fair and created for the community. Pre mint was low because pre mint was controversial and depicted as greedy, nowadays project give out 1% to community and talking about how they are very community aligned in X. In short, greed has taken over the space and airdrop is nothing but waste of time, like as you said, many project are just scams and dusts nowadays. They are here just to make money without actually developing anything, that's it.

I was not a fan of them but if you can play along with anything the team want to do about their project, you will make money with your time invested and if there is money too, you will never regret why you should so some airdrop and immediately they lanuch their coin on the market, don't try do be the hero, sell what you know you have and move to the next project because all the airdrops I know from last year has lost all their values, as many sold.

The airdrop meta is a very strong one that will remain in crypto because they remained marketing tool for people that want to draw users attention to the project. You can't do without users on your platform but aside the fact that airdrop are dump on the market, even the team are not helping the market with good idea. Sometimes I feel project ideas are built on lies and deciet to list a coin and then get away after making millions from the project and this is why people don't like to invest on new projects anymore.

Of course there are going to be huge new airdrops in the future. Why wouldn't there be? That's just like saying that there's not going to be a new altcoin that moons.

Everything happens in waves and there will be dry eras. And i am optimistic that it won't be all bot accounts that get rich in the future, because at some point automatic airdrop farmers quit their work, as it's not worth the fees anymore. And then, suddenly when no one was expecting and most people gave up with them one or 2 huge ones will appear and start this same crap hype again.

I won't be wasting my time with them before people stop talking about them and those airdrop sites disappear for lack of interest.

The potential crypto market always surprises us. There are serious and hard-working traders who still have to suffer losses when the market fluctuates, but sometimes luck can change the someone life. We have heard of cases where someone became a millionaire from DOGE^[1], SHIB^[2], PEPE^[3]... Recently we know another lucky teenager who became a millionaire thanks to JUP token airdrop.

• The luck and becoming a millionaire of an individual are always attractive to everyone: the crypto market will have new investors.
• New projects will have more motivation to conduct big airdrops to be well promoted as Jupiter.
• Many Airdrop hunters will participate, helping projects test platforms to detect bugs before they are exploited by hackers.

I have been participating in the crypto market since 2017 and have also received a few airdrops but usually they are only worth a few USD. Maybe I should collect more luck before becoming an Airdrop hunter

There are definitely going to be new altcoins later in the future, and some of them are going to pump so well. You should know that Airdrop is a market strategy, lots of crypto’s did airdrop as a form of promotion, currently new crypto coins are entering the market, and they are pumping, but they not making use of airdrops as a form of promotion, they making use of other strategies, so maybe later in the future we might not even hear about airdrops again, we going to be seeing more effective marketing strategy. Most projects think airdrop isn’t really effective anymore.

Point/XP based airdrops are still super effective since the projects can milk their users for many months (some even go for years) but the old school airdrops where you'd receive a stimmy for just using a dapp or a chain aren't going back anymore - too crowded.
