Before you do, did you download the electrum in the official website which is provided in the post above mine. Much more security is the multi-signature wallet but it requires more than one private key to perform certain task compared to 2FA wallet and standard wallet. For now, use the standard wallet and make a back up of recovery phrase which will be used to access the wallet before using the other option once you fully understand how it works. Tap the wallet name and then tap "Addresses" then it will display different addresses. Good luck.

So how can I know my Bitcoin address?

Tap on "Receive" button and "Create request". Select "Address" and you will see a QR code which contains your address.
You can tap on the "QR code" to see the address itself.

Take note that every time you do this, electrum gives you a new address and they all are yours.
To see all your addresses in one place, tap on your wallet name at top left corner of the screen and go to "Address/Coins".

That red ball at the right side up should turn green or blue to know that the wallet has connected to the Internet with no synching issue. Red means it has not synced.

I prefer multisig wallet or cold wallet with passphrase for additional security.

Well, we do have our own preferred wallet to use. I would also recommend OP using standard wallet which is less steps when doing some stuff like sending bitcoin. I am not a fan of using 2FA wallet or multi-sig wallet even though it is much secured than standard but as long we keep the important details of the wallet then it is also safe to use. I have been using my wallet for years and didn't experienced any problems or issues at all.

Try changing the server by tapping on the red dot and then tap networks. At the bottom left side, you can see "server settings" then tap it and then see if it's set on "select server automatically" so you should uncheck the box and then choose a server before you tap "OK". Try doing that and see if it works but if it won't work then maybe it's on your internet connection. I tried changing servers in mine and it doesn't have any problem connecting to the network even the select server automatically setting.

@Pi-network314159, since you call that wallet "electron", is it possible that instead of Electrum you actually downloaded a wallet for BitcoinCash? Regardless of what you have done, if the wallet cannot be synchronized, it is possible that you are connecting to a bad server or that something on your computer is blocking the connection to that program.

Check your antivirus program and firewall if you have them.

I am sure that you are using your mobile phone to access the Electrum wallet. Please check whether the Android version supports the latest version of Electrum Wallet. Then check whether your internet service provider is blocking your access to the wallet or not. Next, check if your mobile phone has high-security measures and does not have a firewall, if not then do check your settings once for internet access. If you have downloaded the SDK version on your mobile phone then you would face such issues if not then reply to my reply.

Yes, it should work as mine work either way then it id possible that OP might have enabled proxy. Anyway, If OP didn't enable the proxy then it should be disabled by default. I checked mine and not once did I ever enable or disable proxy and when Installed electrum on my device the proxy is disabled by default. I may be wrong but if it does change automatically when you install electrum snd create wallet then it will change to enable proxy. I created another wallet before but never had something like that where proxy is enabled. Maybe it's the internet connection.
OP: I don't know if this will work but try using another network (internet connection) or restarting your Internet connection.

This should be an issue with your internet connection. Try double checking that before tweaking anything in your network settings if you're not sure what you're doing.

Ensure you also backed up your seedphrase. This should be done by writing it down and storing the copy in a secure place, for more security, have two backups; do not store it electronically.

That is not my experience with any Android device I had and that were some. Android usually prioritizes WiFi over mobile data via mobile network connection. So if you don't setup something unusual network data is routed via WiFi only if a WiFi connection with internet routing is available and connected. No need to turn off mobile network data connection. This is all automatic unless some fancy apps mess things up or the user screws up his Android network connection settings.

OP, what happens when you tap on Disconnected as shown in your screenshot?
From where did you download your Android Electrum app?
Did you verify the authenticity of the downloaded file?
Are you sure you want your Electrum wallet on a mobile device with which you do your daily internet shit, which can be stolen or lost easily, where you likely use all sorts of questionable Android apps?

There is no such thing, when the device is connected to wifi, the data packets will be downloaded and uploaded via that network unless it's a recent model that supports simultaneous connections to both networks so even if there is a network issue on wifi the mobile network will work.

OP, just check you can connect to the internet by opening a browser and try searching for something.

Standard wallet comes with normal security features, while 2FA comes with 2FA feature where you can use Google authenticator or other authenticator to get a OTP and with that OTP you will be able to make transactions. You can setup your 2FA app in some other mobile, so if this wallet's containing mobile got hacked, hackers won't be able to make any payments from that wallet until he gets his hands on that OTP from that 2FA app.

And multi-signature wallet means, you can add a number of trustees for your wallet, for this you need more then one wallet, and let's say you set your signature limit as 2, which means your transaction will only be made if you and the other person using his separate electrum wallet verifies the transaction. In simple means, you have to link the second account with the the first one at the time to set wallets up. And whenever you will be making transaction you have to confirm the transaction from the other wallet in order it to succeed.

This also comes handy when you have set the other wallet in other device, as if the main device containing main wallet got hacked, and the hacker can't make transaction until it got his hands on the other wallet to confirm the tx. I hope you got it now. I prefer give a try to test them all out.

@Cricktor, @Findingnemo. Perhaps both of you didn't understand me because I did not not make myself clear. What I meant is this, it's not just about switching on the wifi, you cannot be connected to an active wifi network and a cellular data network at the same time and be able to browse on your phone. I didn't read it anywhere, I said this out of experience and maybe it has to do with my phone model, I can't really tell.
