[WTS] Kialara 2014 Original .1BTC (#276/2500) UNFUNDED

Hello all!

I am wanting to sell my Kialara 2014 Original .1BTC (physical bitcoin). As we all know, each of the many items he has created over the years are simply beautiful works of art, and as sad as I am to part with this, it is simply time to let it go for one reason or another...

This is #276/2500. The coin is unfunded, in perfect condition, and the "Remove when funded - Bend here" tab is still attached.

Obviously, I am a newbie here and this is a new account, but I came here specifically because I thought this would be the best place to sell this type of item to someone who will appreciate and care for it. I fully understand that trust and safety is a must when it comes to selling items here, and I am totally good with using a trusted user for escrow services to protect both myself and a potential buyer.

I am adding images of course, but from what I have read, the images may not show up here until someone who has been around longer than I have reposts them? Thanks to anyone who can make sure the item I am selling is viewable by all on this page!

I was torn between doing this as a WTS or as an Auction, but I have seen what these have gone for in the past and I have a pretty good idea on what price I will accept for this, but any and all offers are welcomed and I hope we can come to a mutually agreed upon price and make this happen!

oh man and its a "76" and a "276" to boot - my favorite numbers - sadly the only time I could afford one of these would have been when they originally sold for a few hundred bucks

At a decade old now, these are more pieces of art than wallet.
The artistry that went into these at a time when coins were the rage shows

None were sold loaded as far as I know.
There was no silver in these first iterations of this bar, as the coin was steel....but was swapped out for a silver or 14k gold one for the next release which was an updated version of this bar

Thank you sir! The various Kialara creations are definitely my top choice when it comes to physical Bitcoins as well...

Apologies to anyone I have not replied to directly yet, as there is a limit on how many direct messages I can send per hour.

I can say, however, that I greatly appreciate the offers I have received so far... But I do believe that based off prior sales I have seen, and what I expect this item can fetch, I am waiting for a more substantial offer at this point.  If you're waiting on a direct message still from me, I will definitely respond to everyone, but assume that any offer that has been made so far is not an amount I plan to accept at this point in time.

Since I did not specify, I very much prefer that final payment will be made in bitcoin, but other options can be discussed if necessary. Miner Jones will be used for escrow services.

Was finally able to reply to your PM but it looks like I am also limited to a laughable number of PMs each day, as well as the 1 message hourly limit lol - no big deal, I am fine with discussing this all within the main thread if you are.

I would love to get around .15 btc (or more  )  for this item - but, as always, things like this are negotiable - I have seen some of these go for more, some for less. These just really do not go up for sale all that often considering how many there are in existence, so there isn't really a historically accurate price to base things off of, from what I can find.

Let me know if we are golden at that number, or way far apart - either way, thanks for your interest and I look forward to making a deal here with you, or someone equally interested in obtaining one of these if we are not on the same page... Hopefully we are!

I am more in line with Mopars thinking,  the 1st number that came to mind when i saw it was $1,200 tip top $1,400. but of course everyone has their own opinion on price in this matter.

Mopar/rs/ALL - Thanks for your responses… I definitely realize I may be reaching quite a bit, and .15 is pretty ambitious, to say the least. Looking into it further, I must admit I was further off than initially thought on the potential sale price for this. Not the end of the world, I am happy to come to a final, fair agreement with someone on here eventually.

When doing some initial research, I found some threads originating on here that previously discussed the potential* value for these pieces at around $4k (possibly based off of sales on eBay?) - but I also know that a random person can come up with any perceived value they’d like, and that this isn’t exactly as good a marker as a previous completed sale through here. This was also some time ago, so I expected a possible bump in value since then.

Upon further digging, another thread on here showing some actual 2013 2023 sales numbers of a few of these had final numbers at $3,000/$2,429/$2,350.

$2,367.94 end of 2021 in an auction.

Only posting these numbers here for reference, obviously anyone buying this has their own idea on price and can do their own research.

Having said all that, I do hope to get a bit more than currently on offer here, but I also did not post this for sale to end up simply taking it down and moving on. I very much prefer to sell this here, to someone in this community, rather than squeeze out a bit more selling somewhere like eBay etc.

Definitely not trying to waste anyone’s time with unrealistic or unreasonable expectations. I fully anticipate that an acceptable offer will come about through here, and hopefully make someone very happy with their new collectible!
Please let me know if any of you are willing to come up some more in price, and thanks for your time and offers so far!

can you link these threads you have found and are mentioning? are they for this particular kialara or other kialaras? there are quite a few different ones.

I searched for this particular kialara in sales here and found 2 - one listing had no price but that it had sold the other was an auction and those were in 2023.

there were a few other sales further back but none of them near the 6500 you were asking.

Definitely could be the case, esp if just looking at sales of this item that have been completed solely on these forums… I will surely get the links posted soon, and I am positive that the items sold I was referencing were actually this particular version of coin, but not positive that all necessarily were deals completed on these forums.

All things considered, I don’t believe this post has been up for even 48 hours yet, so I’m not in a rush necessarily to cut my potential sale price all the way down to a level where it’s an absolute obvious buy for everyone…

Edit: Just to clarify, the sales prices I referenced above were prices I saw on these forums, I’m just not positive that they were sales made on the forums, as some I believe were pictures shared on here of previously completed sales, potentially elsewhere.
