Our former president ones called the youths of our good country lazy youths because more than half of the youths in these country Nigeria failed to work the correct way.
He said that because many of our youth have joined what they called Yahoo and many of them also believed their life's might change tomorrow, but that's not the right way to keep ones self busy, in the sense that everyone is looking for a better opportunity to better their families and generations it is not adequate for a citizen who knows how it is hard to get money scam people that have worked very hard to save money. IMO when our X president called our youths lazy youths I don't think he called both the hardworking one lazy but he only call those that are into fraud.
Some students at the university don't have any skills and that's what makes them lazy, everyone in Nigeria knows how hard the economy is but many still fails to plan them selfs well, moreover there are topics here that do advised youths and higher educational students to learn skills while or before they gain admission so they will not only depends in their parents or guidance but will assist them with the skills that they possess.

Nigerian youths de go through a lot to survive on the street because our economy no try at all, prices of goods and services just de increase everyday based on the naira devaluation, di currency just de loose value everyday. Imagine youths go pass through the struggles of tertiary institutions, at di end of di day dem go graduate and no jobs, na so dem go de roam di streets everyday like say dem no get focus. Anyway my advice for our youths be say make dem no gree for poverty, if di course wey you read for school no give you Job, make you create one for yourself, afterall people wey no go school de survive, learn one skill wey de marketable weda na offline like berber, electrician, painter etc, or online like digital marketing and di rest, wey people go need your services and you go make money. Other youths go enter yahoo runs and other illegal activities to survive, although dis options no good because one day di law go catch up with them, so make we remain positive in the face of dis challenges.

Please do not make a generalization about Nigerian youths because there are still many Nigerian youths that are in this forum trying to make a honest living for themselves by learning about bitcoins the opportunity that it has for them. There is something our youths have failed to understand. There's a reason why there is a system in every country, go to school, get good grades and then secure yourself a good job or if you can't go through school, then you can go into business, or learn a skill, this was how it's been, forget about the fact that Our country has failed us but trust me that the system still works. The more time and resources you put into something, the better you become in it. Our youth believe the easiest way to make money now without stressing themselves is through internet fraud which is a very wrong mentality and way of seeing things. Funny enough, it's not even as easy as they make it seem, convincing someone to send you money in the midst of this global recession isn't as easy as it sounds, and this is why most youths go as far as involving themselves in certain fetish and diabolical practices just to make sure they cash out which has future repercussions, some of the repercussions even comes sooner than expected.

You can't gamble with the devil because he will outsmart you, there's no way anyone will tell me that the devil will freely give you money and not request something in return, when the bible has already said the every good and perfect gift comes from the lord. It is so painful that the government has not been able to do anything to solve the economic Challenge in the country,  and they are making no attempt,  no effort to see that things becomes better.  The Nigeria people are really trying their best in this hard time to make a living for themselves.  I'm so happy that even with this hard economy people are still able to do one or two generate money for themselves.

In this case, we must help and encourage these young individuals who are doing what is best for themselves. This would enable young people to obtain the skills required to find jobs and create successful professions. In addition, the government might provide greater incentives for firms to recruit young workers. Finally, there may be greater help for young entrepreneurs who want to establish their own enterprises.

Nigerian youths are actually hardworking and difficult to break. They can survive anywhere and that is one quality that is great. However, I have problems with Nigerians as a people and that is the fact that they are not proactive when it comes to demanding accountability from their leaders. Nigerians simply accept any and everything thrown at them by the politicians; they will keep adjusting to bad governance and bad policies without any single form of resistance. Things are getting worse in the country with the ruling class dishing out bad policies everyday yet nobody cares. Imagine a country battling inflation the government is increasing electricity bill by x3.4. This is wickedness that should be resisted yet nobody is talking as people are adjusting. Apart from this weakness against the government like a conquered people, Nigerians are great people.
