Depends on your preference.
Exodus can hold other crypto currencies apart from Bitcoin. I guess they are open source too ,you can look up their code on GitHub.
You can get the app from their official site ;
Exodus Wallet

Mycelium is also nice however the main coin it can hodl is Bitcoin and Ethereum. But if you are searching for a nice Bitcoin wallet the best I would recommend is Electrum. Sparrow is also a nice Bitcoin wallet but I am more familiar with the Electrum interface.

OP, you can use unstoppable wallet as it is an open source wallet that can be used for bitcoin and other cryptocurrency.

Trezor Suite is also a good because it supports other cryptocurrency. It is better that you store your bitcoin in a different wallet from your altcoins wallet. You can use electrum online wallet from small amount of bitcoin, and if it is a big amount, you can use electrum cold storage wallet, and generate your keys on an air gapped device. Also sparrow wallet or a hard wallet like passport is good.

Unstoppable wallet is open source but it is a mobile wallet and not having a Desktop version. OP is looking for a desktop wallet and all the ones that I know are close source except bitcoin wallets that we have many open source ones.

Yes there's, but not safe enough if you use it for long term holding and hold significant amount.

If you're looking for free and safe enough, why you're not just use two or more wallets. For Bitcoin e.g. electrum, bluewallet. For altcoins you can use MyEtherWallet.

OP can you name 2-3 coins that you are interested in storing? I don't have experience on altcoins, but perhaps other people can help more easily.

The only wallets I can suggest are Electrum, Sparrow for Bitcoin and Feather, Monero GUI for Monero.

Exodus is a close source wallet.

I don't know why, but most altcoin wallets are closed source.

You don't want to lose all your cryptocurrencies at one accident and because you don't to fall into such terrible accidental loss, you must use different wallets for different storage.

A wallet for Bitcoin storage is mandatory and I suggest Bitcoin Core or Electrum wallet. Verify them before using.

For altcoins, you can use Metamask, Myetherwallet but I would like to use different wallets for different altcoin blockchains.

Is there a wallet that stores more than one crytpo on your desktop?

If you want to store any altcoins then you can use Metamusk Browser Extension. You can hold more than one HUGE amount of altcoins here. But if you want to hold Bitcoin then Electrum wallet will be best for you. Because it is considered a Bitcoin secure wallet.

You haven't mentioned here what kind of coins you want to hold and which blogchain they are on.  Due to this it is not possible to give you an accurate information.  You should have mentioned this. Then you would get a proper answer

You meant Metamask wallet. Second is that someone should not hold huge amount of coins on an online wallet. If the amount of coins is huge and also for many coins and tokens, the best is to get a hardware wallet. One of the best hardware wallet that can be gotten is Trezor. Trezor is supporting bitcoin and many altcoins.

Although, if it is a bitcoin only wallet, Electrum can be used as a cold storage wallet. Also is Sparrow and some other reputed bitcoin wallet.

Monero, btc,

Cake Wallet is an option to consider (https://cakewallet.com/).  Available on mobile and some desktop platforms (only Linux and MacOS currently), and it claims to be open source code (github).  Passed 8 of 10 tests in security audits on walletscrutiny.com, but they apparently had some trouble fully validating reproduced builds from the source code.  The wallet handles XMR, BTC, and LTC currencies - but I suggest you only use the wallet for moderate amounts for daily use and not for long-term storage.

Exodus wallet is a good multi cryptocurrency wallet which is available for both desktop and mobile. Trezoe integration is also available with the wallet to add extra layer of security. It is easy to use and the user interface is simple. It takes less space of your hard drive and it is available for free but the transaction fees are a bit on the higher side as that is how the wallet makes money. You can check the wallet by visiting this link, https://www.exodus.com/

Monero, btc,

Electrum for Bitcoin
Feather for Monero

You can't go wrong with these 2. They are reputable open source wallets.

I think it's impossible, it's impossible for someone not to explore altcoins if they have entered crypto, I don't deny if you don't know, but come on you have internet at your house and you have no experience Undecided

Let me be more clear. In 2020 I decided to buy ETH and I was also involved in NFTs. I also held some other ERC20 tokens.

In 2021 I transitioned to Bitcoin only.

Ethereum went to PoS which is a purely centralised protocol. The NFTs are a madness for no reason.

So, to answer your question. I HATE altcoins. I call them shitcoins. I will never own any of them again unless they have a significant advantage over Bitcoin. The only one I have found is Monero.

So, I don't understand your point. I have no experience, I don't want to share my experience, I don't do altcoins at all. So I don't talk about altcoins with people. I think it's my right not to care about altcoins even though, like you say, we have the internet. This is the same internet that promotes every type of scam. So no... Not for me...

Trezor does support  XMR, but only on the T and Safe 3 models. And it only works with Exodus and Monero's official wallet (which I believe requires downloading the blockchain). I would go this route if the amount is decent.

Otherwise, I think what apogio suggested above is the way to go. Or, if for some reason, you want to go with Cake wallet, or some non-source wallet that's not available on Windows, then you can always use Bluestacks (android emulator).

Most of the answers I have read from the Op question, have not answered it. Though some are good. Op asked a simple question which is in the below quote.

Is there a wallet that stores more than one crytpo on your desktop?

and I don't think there is such wallet does exist, we are talking about one wallet hodling different cryptocurrency inside. I think it is not possible. All the projects (coins) has their own wallet to hodle their coin. And if Op is looking for a wallet that he can use to hold or store his coin on a desktop computer, then, it would be a wallet like "Trustwallet" because in Trustwallet there are different wallet addresses which one can use to store different cryptos but even at that the coin can't be stored in one wallet but in separate wallets. Therefore I don't know where one wallet can be used to store different cryptos.

Is there a wallet that stores more than one crytpo on your desktop?

Never put your assets in the same wallet because it is very risky if you want to use a cold wallet, but if not, store them in different wallets such as Metamask and others to minimize us losing all our assets when one wallet is lost and the other is not. just disappeared

Exodus is a close source wallet.

if Op is looking for a wallet that he can use to hold or store his coin on a desktop computer, then, it would be a wallet like "Trustwallet" because in Trustwallet there are different wallet addresses which one can use to store different cryptos ...
Is an browser extension (like trust wallet) safer than standalone wallet?
