I've been wanting to ask a question to people who study different sports for a long time: what sport do you think is the most underrated in sports betting and why? Let me explain in more detail what I mean when I write about an underrated sport.

You can make good money on bets where there is a good odds for a high probability. It’s hard to say about a sport which one is underrated. What I would like to point out is that where there is an opportunity to earn good money, there will be a high risk.
In general, in response to your question, I would like to mention the NBA, it is a famous sport and the most popular league, but the predictability of matches, in my opinion, is the lowest among the leading leagues. I would pay attention to this league

Depending on whom you ask, some will tell you Chess is an sport, if so then I would say Chess is one of the most underestimated sports in the competitive landscape and in the betting landscape. The reason is obvious, there are not some many people interested in chess as it is not a contact sport.

I consider chess a sport, because it can be played as a tournament and sort of competition, and I feel it can be easier to win in it because of what is involved. Even when you know exactly who are the best people in sports, the bookmaker will make it hard for you to win and make easy money. For being a boxing aficionado let's say, one can only make a big win if he can predict how exactly the fight will go and how it will end. Or maybe on multibets.

I am making some bucks betting on Futsal but then you need to understand the rules governing the sport and team strength because this is a sport where odds can be so misleading and so it is important to be guided by the team strength to make predictions. Betting platforms are here to make money, not to embrace any sport, to be honest, they will not be interested in adding them or the odds are better for the player in a sport.

Esports is going to be the future in my opinion but it is just same as regular sport, there is no easy prediction at all, and if there is any sport it won't last longer and the state of unpredictability is the essence of gambling in general and we can't expect to have betting experience without it.

I highly doubt that there is any sport that is listed in the bookmakers and that is underestimated by the bookmakers, this is because in my opinion before the bookmakers add a game, they do a lot of research on the game and will add games that give advantage to the betting house and that makes perfect sense, if I owned a casino I would only add popular sports, sports known by everyone and that were sports with easy information so with that the casino would have many customers and have many customers means having a lot of people making mistakes and losing money, it doesn't make sense to add an unknown sport that isn't popular and because of that many people don't bet on it. in football, despite being the biggest sport in the world, this does not mean that all leagues in the world are good, there are many cases of leagues in Asia where you can see odds of 1.25 in favor of a team and at the end of the game that team loses the game, even cases of games with odds of 1.14 in favor of the strong team, but at the end of the game that team that was seen as favorite by the bookmakers loses. I think that bookmakers haven't been monitoring certain leagues in Asia very closely, so they put certain teams as strong and at the end of the game these teams lose, which is why I prefer to just keep placing bets on big leagues in Europe.

In my early days of sports betting, I looked for sports that were easier to predict the result, but from what I could understand over time, the easiest sport to predict the result is the sport that each person likes, and in betting shops betting has more popular sports, those that most people like. so don't believe that there is any underrated sport in the bookmakers, even sports like: Bandy, Biathlon, Cross-Country, Snooker and Waterpolo are all listed in the bookmakers, and anyone can bet on them, but even these strange games to be listed in casinos are not underestimated

We cant really be able to tell that its underrated because if it was then there would really be some bookies would be listing it out. We do know that these are businesses on which it would really be that impossible that they would really be missing out some sports on which they do saw that there would really be tons or lots of bettors on which means that they wont really be skipping it out.
Of course they would really be focusing into those sports on which it would really be having a demand. If you do ask me about underrated then there are tons in the list but since
they arent been listed out then which means that demand isnt really that too much which it would be understandable that they wont really be that much making some noise.

People can get brain damage from participating and I feel like the ones watching either underwent brain trauma or are about to just from the stupidity of the show.

When it comes to real sports I guess showjumping. It's not really popular to bet on and not many people watch it, but it requires a lot of skill to be good and competitions are very tight. IMO it's much harder than racing and you get much more accidents, so should be entertaining, but more people watch races.

This is true; horse racing is one of the most popular sports in my country. In the old days, many people were entertained by this sport and got excited about the match and its result, but why is it underrated? Because not many people now know that horse racing bets are available in different online casinos, and because most of the bettors in this sport are old people, and also because in society, horse racing is becoming less popular and is disappearing, I still look at some betting sites that have horse racing, but it's rare, and I don't bet on it anymore because there's not much of a player anymore. I also don't agree if slapping competitions are added as a sport in casinos, even though I often watch several videos on social media but I am not interested in gambling on these competitions, and people will quickly get bored of watching these competitions and the audience will feel sorry for the players who experience the impact of a hard slap that caused brain damage.

When it comes to real sports I guess showjumping. It's not really popular to bet on and not many people watch it, but it requires a lot of skill to be good and competitions are very tight. IMO it's much harder than racing and you get much more accidents, so should be entertaining, but more people watch races.

But showjumping doesn't seem to be very popular for global scale competitions and maybe in certain areas the sport is very popular, I don't know if showjumping has been added to casinos or not but it's likely that each casino will review the level of interest from users who want to add bets on certain sports so they can make a profit from this type of sport from new bets.

I think volleyball is very underrated. It's a very entertaining sport to both play and watch and some very impressive feats are achieved in every match.

If it was easier to make money betting on a certain sport, all the sports bettors would find that niche and exploit it, so it would get saturated and it would becomes harder to make money betting on that sport. This is how capitalism works. Every opportunity for easy profits gets exploited right away. There's no magical sport, that will guarantee you easy money. It's hard to predict the outcomes of almost all popular sports. That's why they are popularized by the bookies. The big bookmakers don't accept bets for obscure and unpopular sports, because there won't be enough bettors spending money on those sports.

But there are still gambling sites wherein you can bet on such sport unlike with other sports mentioned by other users. Some have mentioned that as long as the game is offered by gambling providers then for sure there's a hype into it or that game is simply popular but not as widely as with others such as basketball, boxing, and football. Maybe culture plays a key role here as well as availability of the sports to be played. What I mean is establishments of such sport. For example is football in my country. There are only a few football fields in my country which makes sense why it is not as popular as with Basketball, and I think it has the same logic with gambling sites on choosing the sports they will offer; most of the time, they'd go with larger fanbase to get profit of course given that it is business they are running.

Underrated with other countries but if it is hype and popularity then for sure it does have with that country. However, betting happened to be occuring through peer to peer in most instances with billiards. The idea behind it I guess is the leagues and tournaments conducting with this sport. Leagues are most of the time are not wide scale which ai think is a factor in this example.
