As a Filipino, I think it's billiards, snooker and pool would be my underrated pick because I think that it deserves the spotlight the same as basketball and we need a new legend to follow the footsteps of Efren "Bata" Reyes, this is the one sport that I think the Filipinos would be able to get even more recognized than basketball, no need for height requirement, just being really good with your eyes and control in your strikes with your cue and you're good to go plus there's already an underground or should I say a quiet but big group of billiard fans already in the country, the only thing that we need to do is to nurture it like how my country nurtures it's basketball players.

Moreover there are many other sports that is underrated because of their performance some are based on the kind of things that they performed are not interesting or that the advertisement are poor and many people who've loved sports doesn't have an idea of the sport it will make them lose interest on it.
One other thing which makes sports interesting are the people who perform, when they are not performing perfectly people will lose interest and less I forget competitions really matters on sports, when there's no competitions the games won't be interesting.

Slap competitions are a new sporting event that started in Russia and was adopted by Dana White, I don't know why, but on one look the sport looks brutal because the recipient of the slaps has no defense, you just stand there and take the slaps, they do have mouthpiece but it can still do damage to participants, I've seen one Russian guy smashing a big watermelon with one slap on his practice, just imagine that slap coming to your cheek.

I've seen boxers getting knocked out in the ring but those knockouts we've seen in slap competitions are so different they are out before they hit the floor.
This could be an underrated sport but since Dana White is promoting this sport this could be the next big thing, lets see in the coming years where will this sports go.

Firstly, it is not as popular as other sports, such as football and basketball, and it did not receive sufficient media promotion due to the lack of sufficient support and sponsors. It has a small group of followers.

I thought that UFC is huge already. Not as huge as others but there is a logical reason when you think about it.

People who are good at soccer or ice hockey, basketball and others, have been trained and supported by their parents since they were kids, so they just continue their path. As those are traditionally seen as safe, sane and healthy sports.

And Not many parents want to encourage their kids for violence, and that's how most people see UFC, violence and head trauma. Even though everyone that practices martial arts that i know are nerds, and i mean that in a good way. Parents want to keep their kids out of the fight, and majority of them doesn't really understand the whole sport. But the trash talk for tv promos and brutality doesn't really help to sell the idea as a honorable hobby or that it's safe for kids.

What comes to underrated sports, imho parkour should be huge, as it's visually very pleasing and dramatic.

I think volleyball is very underrated. It's a very entertaining sport to both play and watch and some very impressive feats are achieved in every match.

I think both the women's version as well as the men's are unique and entertaining to watch. Women's teams are always very skilled, have great physique and great skills. Often they will catch shots that you'd think were impossible to catch. Their dives are most impressive too.

Men's teams rely a lot on strength, they block a lot and the games are super fast paced. I really like watching volleyball but sadly it doesn't get much attention on TV and with sponsors. Growing up as a child, volleyball was one of the most popular sports then and it was always been thought in schools in my home country so that kids can learn about it in their very young age and master the game of volleyball but how the modern day sporting world have not taken the game of volleyball serious remains a surprise to me and I think to many who knows very much about volleyball.
I've never been able to see any sporting advertisement in recent years where it is mentioned that there's volleyball world tournament just like we have football, basketball, golf, swimming and numerous track field tournaments. I don't know why the a game I personally think is one of the most entertaining sporting events is currently not talked about again like it used to be.

Yup all of that is true. And on top of that, volleyball is an accessible sport that doesn't require someone to be rich to play. Yes it requires technique but people can learn. And it's also a good inspiration for young kids because volleyball players get really athletic of they train well.

So I think volleyball has the potential to be up there with Football and basketball. We should maybe give it a boost as sports watchers.

I watch videos of this competition but I feel that it is too much for me.

What you are right is, most sports betting fans prefer types of sports that are played with high performance or full of adrenaline such as MMA, Boxing, UFC and also football and other popular types of sports.
All of this is clearly due to interest and if there is not the slightest interest then will never be able to take part in any competitions in sports that don't like.

Have you ever heard about Sepak Takraw? It's  like volleyball but instead of using hands players kick a ball over a net using their feet, knees, chest or head. It's played with a small ball made of rattan. Usually there are two teams, with three players on each team. The goal is to kick the ball over the net in a way that makes it hard for the other team to kick it back. I haven't placed any bets on this sport since I don't know if there's one available to bet on.

It was one of the national sports in our country. It was not that popular because when I was studying then, there were only a few students who joined the Sepak takraw club and they always won when competing in division championships in different schools. If you look at it, it is rarely reported or featured on social media and even in the national television and news, so I think there are only a few players. MMA will never become as popular as football or basketball and there are many reasons for that:
1. MMA fight can end in some seconds. Imagine, you bought a ticket, flew over cities, countries and now have the opportunity to watch the fight in live, fight starts and in some seconds fighter gets knocked out and the match is over. Isn't that very disappointing? While in Football match is guaranteed to last for at least 90 minutes and in Basketball, average NBA game will last about 2.5 hours. You also have to keep in mind the area. Area for UFC fights is very small as well as Octagon itself and when you are in last rows, you simply can't watch the game while in Football and Basketball, the area for people is enormously huge and even in the last rows you can still watch a game.

This is slite hard to answer, there have been many sport that are not recognized by people because they are not quality or say qualified or even interesting to watch and people don't like them. It depends on the performance of the sport that will determine whether it's low in performance or not to the liking of others.
I have heard of sex post just ones, I don't know if the sport it interest or not but if it does it will be because of the performance that will make it known to people.

Haven't you had sex in your entire life as an adult you ought to know if it's interesting or not  because whether you are a professional or not you must have had it being a human with flesh and blood running through your veins. I'd go as far as to say that golf is actually overrated. The viewership is not very high and overall there's a lot of elitism in this sport as it's very hard and expensive to actually train for it. You need a field by yourself which is very hard to maintain and consequently the costs are very expensive. For how low the viewership for golf is, it still has huge rewards for competitions. There's so many tournaments that have a pot of $20 million, which is crazy for a single person sport. I guess though big sponsors like to be associated by a sport that is surrounded by rich audiences so I can't blame them to much. To me it's better for them to fund ANY sport rather than fund wars for example.

I still think that F1 is not getting the attention it deserves. I get that it's wagered a bit, and I get that it is not too much "betting" when we are talking about stuff like Max winning almost all races and all that, but at the same time it is going to be fun to decide on other stuff, those still matter.

Like who would make a podium is usually unknown, we have seen Checo miss the podium so many times, and we have seen so many different cars, from Mercedes to Aston to McLaren to Ferrari, many cars made it to podium last season, and if you knew that, you would do fine. There is no aspect of gambling without its risks and I do not believe that when a gambler has taken his time to study a team, he will still not be able to make some well-informed predictions that will often be true in terms of the outcome. I believe that just like football, all other aspects of sports betting are the same when it comes to winning probability, only that we are not paying attention to them or not just conversant with them. For the average man his perspective about golf would be that it's too overrated while for the elitist class it is one of the most underrated sports that is played without stress and not much stamina is needed to make a good player. It is due to its expensive nature that the average person in the society doesn't see a need to relate with the sport.

Take for instance rugby, I have heard persons refer to it as an overrated sport by the Americans but for an American rugby deserves the hype as it's a renowned sport in their society than even the football we mostly talk about. IMO, there are no underrated sport in sports betting because the odds and frequency of a specific sport/match every single will purely depend on the number of audience, the number of bettors and volume of bets a specific sport are receiving.
Sports with not enough bettors will probably not going to have open betting lines in most of the sports betting platform.
So, If we had a hard time find our favourite sport in most of the online betting platform, that only means one thing, there are not enough bettors for the bookies to open a line in the first place.

Depending on whom you ask, some will tell you Chess is an sport, if so then I would say Chess is one of the most underestimated sports in the competitive landscape and in the betting landscape. The reason is obvious, there are not some many people interested in chess as it is not a contact sport.

I consider chess a sport, because it can be played as a tournament and sort of competition, and I feel it can be easier to win in it because of what is involved. Experience can play a big role in determining who will win in a chess match because an experience chess player has a strategy that they have formed that is working for them and  will not easily fail them against a less experienced chess player.  Strategy and experience and big factors in a chess game.

Sure, I mostly agree with the stuff you have said. I also consider chess to be a sport and a very competitive and difficult one, however whether it is a sport would depend on whom you ask. I believe just because Chess can be played in a competitive context and there are chess tournaments are not enough factors for it to be a sport, it is one because of the strategic nature of it and it's long tradition through existence. It we could classify an activity as sport just because it can be competitive and the existence of tournaments for it, then contest of eating hamburgers and pies would be also considered sports (I am sure people even bet on those). 

Sports imply effort, either physical or mental effort and there is where Chess comes in. One must think a low for becoming a successful player of Chess. In the same way someone is also supposed to think much to become a successful MOBA player, besides the team working and communication skills to coordinate with ones mates. It is one of the reasons it is enjoyable to watch MOBA tournaments.

The only sports which I think it's easier to make money from through betting is wresting, like the WWE, DYNAMITE, TNT and so on, but unfortunately, bookies don't list this form of sports because most believe that the games are completely rigged, and that the outcome of every game is always predetermined.

If wresting was made available for betting by bookies, I believe this would have been one sports which gamblers would have easily be winning, as most times, even before a game starts, it's very easy to know and guess right who the winner will be, but this would have also been to the detriment of the bookie since, every time a gambler wins, the bookie loses.
