Good morning my country people, e get one mistake we dy normally make wen we one sell or give out our old phone wey we dy use before, we dy fail to delete everything inside the phone, even though most of them na just ignorance, because if na phone wey we don dy use do banking and our crypto transactions before, at least small info fit still dy am wey person fit take advantage off, if e fall for the wrong person hand, so to me the best thing to do for a situation like that na, before you sell or do give away with the old phone, make sure you flash am or do fatory reset on the phone to be at the safer side, see, no matter how you dy careful reach, their is always a loophole wen our phone dy involve, and another thing is that make we no dy use any phone or system we see, use login to any of our crypto dealings abeg.
Abeg make we take our security serious oo, make all our hustle for years no just go down because of just one carelessness, abeg stay safe.

If you format your phone with hard reset or through factory reset, that does not mean that some files has been removed from the phone memory.

Before you do hard resetting or factory reset, you will need a tool, like data eraser, like shreddit to first erase the data so that it will no longer be recoverable.

Do not see it surprising if a file you have deleted on your phone is recovered by special tools called data recovery tools unless you have deleted the data using data eraser, then reset your phone to become like new using hard reset or using factory setting.

With the kind of technology coming up of recent coupled with his scammers now have different knowledge on how to get access to your private information, it's not even advisable to sell a phone you've used too long and you've stored so many vital information that if it gets to the wring hand might be used against you.

Like the current phone I am using, because of how long I have used it and the kind of login details I have auto saved on my google account, nothing will ever make me give it out to a third party or sell it in the first place. If you're financially strong a bit, it's even better you keep your old phone as a reserve with you because you cant tell you might have need of some important information that you've stored in your old phone.

Another advantage of not selling your old phone is that third are certain site that all this recent phones won't be able to access except you use those old phone and Its best you just keep it in a safe place so if the need arise that you will have to use it, you just grab it but if you don't feel like using it, you just allow it to stay as your old stored phone.

Then what about when we take the phone for repair.  What measure can we take because even if you are there to monitor the technician, you might not understand what he is doing. I'm talking from experience. I remember those time were SIM cards were left in a faulty phone with a technician and the SIM card gets missing either for fraud, like a post I saw yesterday about a governor's phone that was cloned and used to perpetrate fraud (soliciting for fund) until it cut the attention of the governor and a disclaimer was raised.
