Hi, can u please help me. I dont understand trading, i am JUST trying to help my dad who tried to trade. We dont know if Its scam.
Well He was trading with appparently booker on some page. Since He earned some money they tried to withedraw And my dad got email from AML that they want to check if it really HIM And He needs to send 50% to that account. To they accepted And Now He has got his money in MetaMask wallet in USDT.  Is it correct way to play 9 % has to withedraw money from MetaMask?
I am going to quote from email what AML sent him to complete to withedraw his money. Does AML send emails like this?

After transaction, your amount will be transferred to your account within one business day.

I agree learning all the time is important for growing and getting better. We need to stay focused and keep learning to know more and get better at things. When someone learned from a mistake and he/she shared his/her mistake like in the forum for example then those who will read it then they will learn something that they should avoided but it's not always like that where you learned from someone's mistake because you may/might make a mistake yourself and learned from it or maybe not at all. Wallet security practices and financial privacy protection are important when you are involved in the crypto industry. To be honest, I've no sympathy for the man in your story. He had that enough ETH but couldn't take out time to study various ways to safeguard his wallet. The joke is on him. I talked about burner wallets in one of my posts today and why it's necessary to create one. How do you link airdrop activities to your main wallet? That's really dumb. Even when the victim observed certain abnormalities while signing the transaction, he still went ahead to authorize it. He asked to be scammed. That's what it looks like. Anyway, I hope he learnt a big lesson from that to equip himself for further scam attempts to come. Everyone should take heed lest they also fall into the same trap. Activities of scammers do increase greatly during bull run and that's what we've begun to see now.

So to the newbies, I know you've been warned umpteen times not to click on phishing links and not to give unknown website permission to your wallet, but it's not a bad idea to bring it up again. My goal is that it sinks into your head and saves someone.

This is a sad experience of a crypto investor who lost a whooping 8.6 ETH to a scammer, when he clicked a phishing link and granted it authorization to access his wallet because he wanted to participate in an airdrop.

• Don't give authorization to unknown websites to access your wallet.
• if you've large amount of funds, keep in a cold storage.
• If you're the type that's interested in airdrops, have a separate or dedicated wallet for it, do not use the wallet where you've most of your funds.

there's no safe on the internet today, so one of the best ways is to make yourself knowledgeable about the possible attacks or make an additional layer of your security through your device, or even the ISP you are using most of them now are configurable, make the participation of your wallet, if you can afford have an investment I guess you can afford to for your security. If you are active in different earnings like NFT, staking and etc. ideally you must create a burner wallet so you don't need to worry because it's just a spare wallet, and create a different wallet for your trading and long-term holding of assets. There is no safe now in the internet one mistake you will possibly lose information or even money.

You will barely find people learning from the mistakes of others when they get into trading and other cryptocurrency activities. They only learn when they face the negative consequences of their actions. 

This applies mostly to newbies who don't focus on learning and knowledge and are always looking for shortcuts to success.  They lack research abilities or maybe don't know that there is a thing called research.
