No each exchange has different limits they set so this might be only for Mexc, other exchanges can have lower limits. But still I don’t think you can also transfer out less than that $5 from Mexc it seems to be their limit. Reasons is the 2$ cannot cover for even the exchange charges and sending to other exchanges might just be a waste of time. Bitcoin and litecoin charges are higher than some lower Altcoins. And even if you add more litecoin that same 2$ will be almost consumed as charges so best is to forget it mate.

Probably yes. Even if you manage to find another exchange, that has lower withdrawal limits, you would probably still need to pay for a withdrawal fee (possibly 1 USDT t). It's probably not worth it. You're better off finding someone who's willing to do this for you instead of using an exchange.

Before doing any exchange or buying/selling read the rules which are clearly post by sites for having no issues like this is also better for you and all others.

This topic is not related to here please move this from here to Currency Exchange for the better response from the members of this community.

It's been a long time since I used the Mexc exchange, but if I could remember correctly, they have a convert option where you can convert a small amount to other crypto that meets the minimum requirements. Try searching for the convert option if they have one, and don't use the trade option.

And even if you succeed in converting this, you can't withdraw it as it's not up to the minimum withdrawal requirement.

I will advise you to use their P2P option and convert that into your local currency if it's supported; that's the only possible way I think you can get a small amount out without making more deposits into the account.

First of all, you need to move this thread from the Bitcoin discussion board to the Altcoin discussion board. Because your thread is related to altcoin, not bitcoin. Yes, every exchange has a limit for exchange, so you can't exchange your LTC unless you meet the requirements. Even I don't believe you can exchange it through P2P. I don't know how you got this amount in exchange. You can buy some more and convert it to USDT. Then you may sell your funds above $2. But I think it will consume more fees to do this. Better wait for an increase in the LTC price and sell when it meets the requirements.

He is talking about trading fee. But it is truly not just worth it even if it is trading fee or withdrawal fee because $2 is small. I think he just want to hold a stable coin.

It supposed to move it to exchanges board. Why? You can understand that from this quote:

What's the withdrawal fee on mexc exchange? If there is a withdrawal fee, then it would cut into your already little find making it more difficult to convert that on any other exchange you plan to send it to.

My advice would be to leave it there until you can add some more to it to scale the minimum withdrawal fee.

Oh, yes. Probably you are right. Thread would be better suited for the Exchange section. However, I reported the thread a while ago. I hope moderators will handle it and move this thread into the right section.

Still, I will advise holding the funds until they meet the requirements, because withdrawal fees would be an issue if OP wanted to transfer to another exchange.

Exactly that’s why I said the limits is basically just for Mexc, last I remember they are one of those exchanges that have higher limits on coins trading. I just confirmed that OP can actually move his 2$ worth of litecoin because the minimum withdrawal is 0.02 litecoin ($1.4) at the current price of litecoin ($72) and also cover for the charges which is 0.001 litecoin ($0.072). But yet again which exchange can cover my such low amount to another token or coin.

I dont want to buy anymore crypto at the moment

I understand that. But what are you going to do with $2 worth of USDT? You will still have to pay a withdrawal fee at the exchange you send your LTC to. I do not think it will be worth it. Maybe best to use LTC to pay for something online? Or just leave it in your wallet.

I have made conversions on several exchanges such as mexc, bitget, binance and several others. The minimum conversion limit varies, some start from $4 and some start from $5. However, on average there is a minimum limit of $5 before we can make a conversion. Even if you send LTC of $2 to another exchange, it may not be possible because it will be hampered by transaction fees which will make your LTC value smaller and there is also a minimum limit for sending LTC assets which usually means LTC cannot be sent. My only advice is to hold until the LTC price rises several times and then sell.

Most likely you won’t be able to do this. Even if you use an exchange with a low trade min, since you want to withdraw USDT which I am assuming is on the Ethereum network the fees will be more than the trade is worth.

Unless you deposit more funds in the exchange I don’t think you can do much. You can try and trade maybe for doge and that might have a lower withdraw threshold. I know Doge is not what you want but that at least you can self custody instead of leaving it on the exchange.

If you don't want to buy anymore crypto then you just better leave it there. If the current exchange where your LTC is deposited and it's under the minimum amount for withdrawal, it doesn't makes sense because you can't withdraw it unless you add on top of that with another LTC more than $5 including the fee.

Telling him the differences of other exchanges and limits won't give him help. He's not even willing to add more so he can withdraw and sell that.

Before you register on an exchange, it is best for you to understand the rules that apply to that exchange, by knowing this you will feel comfortable with that exchange, each exchange has different rules, some are higher and some are lower, but you also need to pay attention. the exchange's reputation for the security of your assets

This website contains the information that you need. https://coinmarketfees.com/exchange/mxc. It details the deposit and withdrawal fees on mexc exchange. On that same website, you can also see the comparison between mexc exchange and other crypto exchange.  Apparently, the minimum withdrawal fee is $7(although, this is subject to change based on market conditions). What you can do for now is wait until you are ready to buy more that is only when you can if you still want to them be able to withdraw.

Binance Exchange has a feature that allows users to convert any amount of assets from one coin to another. Even if you have Bitcoin that is worth $1 and you want to convert it to BNB, you can do it on Binance. It has been a long time since I used MEXC, and I don't know if they have also added such a feature to their exchange. If you want to convert the LTC to USDT, I will suggest that you withdraw it to Binance Exchange, which will allow you to convert the coin to USDT, but also be aware that you cannot convert it to your local currency via P2P unless your asset is up to $5.

No, before you transfer to another platform, make sure to read the rules and regulations, as well as the minimum amount you should convert or transfer. Also,  even if you want to transfer 2 dollars to another platform, it is not sure if the platform you are on will accept 2 dollars to transfer. I mean, I'm sure they also have a minimum amount for you to transfer your funds to another platform, and with that 2 dollars you have, are you sure you will want to convert it? Because even converting curreny to another there is a fee for that, so I think it is not worth it to do your convertion right now, better to save up more like 10 dollars then convert it. But if you say you don't want to buy crypto anymore, then it will be a problem that your two dollars will be in stock there until you meet the minimum conversion amount.

Different exchanges have different rules so the $5 minimum on Mexc may not apply everywhere. But before moving your LTC check the rules of the new exchange you're considering. Look out for any minimum amounts for conversions, just to be sure you won't face a similar issue there?

Yeah, this is very helpful especially if you have a lot of "dust" amounts of any cryptocurrency, they have this 1 button only to convert all small amounts of any cryptocurrency to another cryptocurrency.
Best way for OP is buy additional LTC just to make up the value of LTC to reach the minimum amount.
