My people I greet oo. I don see say the way education system they go for Nigeria. It’s not encouraging oo. How education dy become so expensive, and the system they very poor. See as lecturers dy exploit from students. Without even taking a deep thought to know or even think how this Student’s are surviving. See how the government and the so called eduction bored  will be using the future of young ones to play any how. Some times we go for unnecessary strikes, they will say it’s for the development of our schools, and so on and so fort. Once the government pay them small money. The so called education board system, will take those money as their personal gain, without thinking of the students well being. The level of poor education system in Nigeria is really becoming a case that needs to be addressed.the leaders don’t really care about our education system, because all their children are in other countries that are well developed schooling.while the masses are here suffering in this so called Nigerian education system.

I will start my post with this statement: if you can genuinely make 2:1 which is second class upper division in any Nigerian public university, then you can succeed in any university in the world. If we conduct opinion poll among Nigerians regarding their view of the Nigerian system of education, you will see all manners of resentment,  negative report and what have you; people have worst things to say about our educational system and this is understandable. However,  looking at it from another perspective, the Nigerian system of education actually produce strong graduates that are intelligent and resilient. No wonder Nigerian graduates that travel abroad for post graduate degrees always top their classes. Nigerian graduates are moulded to be researchers,  self reliant with high endurance limit. Anyhow you bring am, we go run am for you... if you like teach us or no teach us, we go jack textbooks and still deliver in exams.

The major challenge I see about the Nigerian system of education is a total disconnection between the classroom work and the industrial application. The schools have no practical equipements and there is no synergy between the universities and the industries. The reason students struggle to get a place for internship and IT placement. If this can be fixed, trust me, Nigerian graduates will do wonders in all fields of human endeavors.

In conclusion, our educational system might seem poor, but it produces the best brains in the world, people who are smart, bold and willing to go extra miles to achieve success.

It is very frustrating to see how the educational system is run in Nigeria in a poor way. The government do not care about these lecturers that are impacting knowledge on the student and polishing them to be able to be productive in the labour market when they graduate from school. They abandon our educational system needs by messing it up with not increasing the salaries of the lecturers, and not meeting up to their demands, which will later lead to strike, depriving the student from learning and graduating at the right time. You will see that a four years course in Nigeria, might take up to 5-6yrs in Nigeria, wasting the time of these vibrant youths who are eager to graduate from school and look for what they can use to earn a living.

The government shows less concern because they send their children to study abroad or in private institutions where they will be no such challenge like strike. The lecturers who have always see that the only way to survive is to sell hand outs and come up with some other expenses on students is over doing it, forgetting that it is not every student that can afford it. ASSU as a body is not even helping matters for their lecturers because they are not fighting for the body ASSU, but for their personal interest. Corruption has eaten this country very deep.

About this strick mater the problem is coming from both the government and the management of asuu
The government in their own end does not at any point meet up all the demands of the union  wen they strick they give them accumulated allowances and them being selfish will accept it and cal off the strick as such wen they change their union leadership the incoming leaders of the union go start there own a fresh
The leadership of this body that governs tertiary education are so self centered that the least bribe by the government they have forgotten their aim and objectives as a union
I feel so saddened the way our system of education is in this country it really doesn't show any form of progress  it's really something that should be looked into in other to save us quality education

This our country matters just they increased every bless day This is the reason why the country don't develope any more, and the government does not do anything about it Really, the cost of education has been rising to the point where it is almost unaffordable for impoverished children to attend; this is not because the government raises teacher salaries; rather, the way the government pays certain employees salaries that exceed their own is a topic for another lecture. If the government can assume the duty of the impoverished, who are willing to contribute their education and their lack of financial difficulties, that would be preferable. If he is able to help them, it will be great.

The most agonizing problem of our country is that the impoverished must fight for admission on their own before being admitted, and some will spend more then 6years for them to graduate, and this is due to a strike. because if the government doesn't pay the workers, they will say that they can't work and accept the government, pay them and the government won't care because all of their children were sent abroad to study, that's why corruption keep exists in own country.

The Nigeria system of education dey affect our youth seriously, because the government is careless for the education here in Nigeria because our leaders children no dey school for here all of them na abroad them they school and the ones wey the school for Nigeria here na school wey poor Man no go fit afford to go,

How Nigeria system of education dey affect our youth,: increments in school feels, poor school background, poor teaching , poor adequate facilities etc..
Now when I say increments in the school fees, na when government or the school owner dey continue to the increase school fees and if the students parents no get the money e go make the child to stop school ,so na so e go take effect am, and when I say poor school background,:na when the school management dey feel less concerned due to say their pinkin no the school for here and na e make them dey always dey careless, and leave them school building collapse because no one cares about it,

It is really bad how the economy of our country is turning out and how bad it is affecting the youths in school. All this things you mentioned are the reason why people don’t take school seriously and why the youths and students are all turning to the internet and hand work for survival, there a lot of graduates who are suffering to have a job and with the high increase in school fees a lot of people are forced to quit schooling because they can’t afford to pay for their fees and high rates of unemployment in the country have given them more reason to quit.

There are a lot of challenges in the education system of the country which is due to the poor leadership in the country, strikes are being called more often as a result of the government refusing to pay workers but all these shouldn’t stop people from attending schools if they can afford it but if they can’t there is definitely a school that they can afford so they can go there. It is not necessary that we attend expensive schools so no matter the level of your family there will definitely be a school they can afford.

To solve these problem e go need effort from government and society together to make sure say every pikin get access to correct education no matter their background.

I think education is one of the indicators of advancement and development in a country. It is a key factor that you can use to determine the level of development in our society. What that means is if education is bad, substandard, or not up to par, it is as a result of bad leadership, which also leads to the lack of development in the society.

One key thing to consider is that only a literate society can think about development across all boards, especially to stand the test of time. This has been proven across all historical developmental studies in the past, which show that communities that were more educationally sound brought about more development and civilization. That is why you find countries like the European countries being more powerful than the African countries; it was because education was more prioritized in that part of the world than it was in the African continent. So, those are indices of development that you can use to measure it

The Nigerian education system is a mess, and the fault is from the government.who have no conscience concerning it, because there children are outside the country schooling.how can a lecturer that is impacting knowledge to the student not taking care of,not giving adequate allowance and salaries to take care of them selves they have families too.so when they don't get all this things.they look for a way to make a living so it has to fall to the student.

Now, for the case of Nigeria, you cannot be so excited about the start-to-score because development is tied to our level of education. So far, our educational system is poor as you compare it to international standards. We are not really performing as a country, especially considering Nigeria as the giant of Africa. It should be showcased. That is why you find situations where students are flying out of the country to countries like Sudan, Equatorial Guinea, Uganda, amongst other African countries, rather than staying in Nigeria, because they have lost the confidence that should be reposed in education. And because the government is not taking the leadership role to moderate, coordinate, and ensure that people have a sense of belonging and justice in the education system, it has now worsened.

Let me wrap this up with an example, which is the number of Nigerian students that were found to be enrolled in quack universities in Benin Republic. Now, by level of resources and history, Nigerian students are not expected to choose Benin Republic as a new option over studying at home in Nigeria but because the education system has deteriorated, and the government is not taking charge. This is due to the lack of infrastructural development, equipment, and manpower.

You find situations where there are not enough lecturers and resource people to teach, and there are also no world-class materials available for lecturers to use to educate their students at schools. This has made many parents take the decision to send their children out of the country to get a better education. And this scenario is reflected in the report that the journalist gave about how studying engineering in public schools is available and so on. So, we need to learn from that aspect and understand that education is sine qua non to development

The academic system in our country Nigeria is not encouraging at all, everything concerning education in Nigeria is so expensive, the government is increasing school fees every year and making schools going to unnecessary strikes and not looking in to the school system. And the lecturers are making things difficult for the students whereby a student cannot pass his or her exams without bribing them, and the most annoying thing is that the government is aware of all this corruption in the academic system but are not saying anything about it because of course their children are studying outside the country where everything is in order, but they cannot fix their own country because of greed.

I strongly believe one's future of course lies in their own hands. If the lecturer is using your future to play, then don't play with your future. There a millions of ways to know what you need to know about different fields and niches all on the internet, and to be honest I believe the educational system is actually better than it used to be, except, of course, the increased rate of malpractice and the rest. My lecturer comes to the hall today and teaches ( like In detail). I get that may not be the situation for all of us but it doesn't change the fact that the lecturer can't tell you everything. He can't even tell you half of everything.

So, no matter how much the issue would be addressed, the best thing a student can do for himself/herself is to self-study. That is, of course, if that degree is really important to you, cause it's not important to a lot of people these days.

This education problem no be today e start because this country don already dey spoil dey come no be today and na why so many of the supposed scholars wey supposed help us here dey travel comot dey go build their selves and some of the many Nigerians dey even become the best doctors and best at their field of study because of the available material and also the will power for them to learn outside so if this our country fit improve these educational system e for help well well because the manpower and brain are already filled in this country but situation keeps chasing and removing people wey supposed help the country comot finish.

This is one of the biggest problem in Nigeria,i don't know what the education sector has done to our leaders is like the don't want us to go to school again ,there have been no concern at all towards building these sector.i think to find a solution to this problem is to stop their children from participating in NYSC in Nigeria  which will render the certificate useless  and the ones in private schools should not go to service but wait until there set are going . The whole truth is corruption our lecturers  are also not helping because if they are doing the right thing,it would have been helpful for the suggestion.

Let's not alone put the blames on the lecturers and our system of education don't we also think the students are as well to be blamed. Eighty and above percentage of students who are in the universities are not primarily there to learn, some through out their years in the university they haven't attended enough classes that is capable of giving them that good results,, which at the very end they will sort it out. Let's not be deceived, the mind of students towards learning are fading so that gives the lecturers enough reason as to why they should seek benefit from them.
