Poll: Games of sSkill or Games of Luck

I created this Poll as some members in another Poll wrote they don't like Skill games.

Please give us your explanation as to why you voted the way you did in a friendly and civilized manner.

I voted for skill based games not luck based games. My thesis is that luck based are random or pseudorandom and are not for me. At least with skill based games, I can control my own faith that is if the casino or betting platform are honest with the randomness. With skill based games, I just have to keep improving and sharpening things up in order to outwork others and win.

In terms of entertainment, I'd pick games of luck over games of skill. Luck is a certain element that is hard to beat, and it leaves you clinching your butt hoping that Lady Luck favors you in that particular session.

Why would you want to play a game that is entirely at the mercy of RNGs?  Well, each to their own.

Game of luck! I'm not sure if I'm the only one but mindlessly doing spins can be a stress reliever lol.

At work, we have to make use of our brain at the highest level possible so the last thing I want on rest hours is another brain challenge lol. Pretty much why in non-gambling games as well, I've been preferring the cozy types like farming lmao -- let's keep this one a secret though lol.

I opted for skill games, perhaps because they give the impression that we could have a chance of getting it right if we analyze the games well, but in reality we won't get anything right, at least in the long run we will still have more losses than victories. but as most people take time to realize this, they continue placing sports bets, analyzing games, placing bets and losing and then going back to analyzing other games, betting money on them and losing again, this is a cycle in which People keep losing, no matter if they are placing sports bets or playing games that depend on luck

as people have seen that in games that depend on skills they need to put in a lot more money to be able to win a lot of money, so they opt for the game that depends on luck because with that they will be able to put in little money and they will win a lot of money if they have luck. This is because they know that in the long term they will not make a profit unless they are lucky enough to win a lot in a section with a very large multiplier. In games of chance, if a person is unlucky enough to put in a little money and win a lot of money and then stop playing altogether, then in the end they will only end up losing. That's why gambling should be seen as just fun, nothing more than that.

A tough choice to only choose one so I will vote for BOTH of them.

As a gambler for a long, there are lots of gambling types I already encountered be it luck games or skill games. I can't avoid playing only gambling type since everything was interesting to start with. My mood for today will tell me what gambling types should I risk with. But recently, I've been more playing luck games as that was what my mood is telling me to gamble with.

Is there a game of skill that involves gambling? Like for example, what would you do to prevent cheating?

Could we play chess in person? Maybe some variation of Bridge?
Or play some sports in person and gamble on ourselves.

Really I don't see that many options. Most games that involve gambling are luck based for a reason. You have to guarantee the chances and the randomness without possibility of cheating. At least to a reasonable extent.
Zero luck games where participants have a prize to win are tournaments, not gambling. It's a different thing.

I don't mind whether the game I playing is a game of luck or a game of skill.  What matters to me is whether I am interested on that game or not.  So I vote for both options.  If this survey is to know which one is better to choose for its service, then why not cater to both audiences?  This will at least give you more chance of getting players into your platform, that is if you plan to create one.
