What if this forum allows private discussions?

This forum has been designed as an online learning where you can login and find new ideas learn about crypto currencies and also share your little taught or find help from the forum from areas that you think you need to understand much better.

My question is, What if this Bitcointalk forum was also designed the way we have other online platform like, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and others where you can dm someone privately for a private discussion. What if this forum allows all kind of posts and memes, what if your pictures are also allowed to be posted.

Do you think this forum would have made more sense if you were allowed to chat someone privately or do you think it won't be matured anymore or will you see it as a fun place because this forum now everyone is focusing on business it is business minded now.
So what if the forum was created for one to be able to chat another privately.

Hey there! Just letting you know, this forum actually has a Private messages feature that allows you to chat directly with other users. You can find it by clicking on "My Messages".

Fyi, the forum Has an official Twitter handleTwitter handle created since 2011, but it's less active. I don't understand how else you plan to have a private conversation on the forum besides using private messages,  although PMs aren't completely private and can be accessed by admins if necessary.
Remember, the forum is a public space, and if you decide to share your real identity, it's your responsibility because your privacy could be compromised by unknown individuals, thieves, or criminals. Therefore, it's wise not to post your real pictures here since it's not Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter.

You can actually send private messages to people by navigating to user's profile and clicking on the "Send this member a personal message" option. See the image below for illustration.



Like you said, this is more of a learning environment and interaction is a necessary and an important tool in order to make learning easy so whether privately or publicly, interaction is necessary for learning to occur so it won't make it immature at all.

And concerning posting of all kind of posts and memes, I believe there are off-topic boards and other kind of boards that you can actually post such things, but it should be posts that one can actually learn a thing or two from and not posts that are irrelevant.

I believe turning this prestigious forum to a sort of a social environment similar to facebook will jeopardize the main aim of its creation and furthermore, It will shift the gaze from the advancement of the bitcoin cryptocurrency and start entertaining all sorts of nuisances and distractions that we see in the social media space. This is an information environment, it should be focused on that path for its effectiveness and efficiency.

Not to forget, Bitcoin unique selling point is rooted on privacy and anonymity and your idea will greatly affect the perception of bitcoin ecosystem as privacy would no longer be the watchword if it should be implemented.

There are many sections discussion in the platform where you can share your new idea and get many respond to different professional that will change so many things from you and, if you are looking for such section, I will advise you to always visit beginners and help discussion where newbies use to ask questions and get a good answers that will change their negative mentality from the forum.

If you can develop more time on this local board or other discussion platform in the Bitcointalk.org, you will be convince that this is the best platform to join to make more impart that will increase you financially, materially and physically because, this is the best place to share knowledge that will profits people and it make sense to users. Assuming you are active in the forum, you would have known that there are private chat in this forum, when you can learn privately by sending the user message about what you don't understand in the forum and the person will respond to you in private chat also, I believe FatFork has send some direction where you can send private message and you will get the respond from the person if you ask reasonable question.

You can chat someone privately on the forum. I assume someone would have already shown you in the comment section and as for posts and memes.... Really ?

What you write everyday, aren't they posts? And you can make a thread about specific memes of your choice. I think I've seen a thread about Donald trump memes or something like. Can't post links cause it's been really long since I saw it. And again, it's a freaking forum made a long time ago, who exactly were these suggestions for ?
