Token refund scam?

I need to know am I being scammed?(twice)

I had purchased tokens via a still ongoing presell (stage 9) of retik.com

After I payed and confirmed as a holder (by wallet connected on retik.com), I found this token is probably a scam

I visited this company telegram, and there I got a DM from someone who also told me he regrate and reffer me to another guy who told me he can fill a form to a "blockchain.com node" with my wallet address,tx hash of my paid tokens, and my email and they will comeback to me and after they will validate I am indeed payed for these tokens, they will refund me...

All sounded very weird but I was convinced eventualley...

The guy asked for a fee (100$) which I payed...
filled the form and at the same day a guy identifyed as blockchain support , sent me an email (from a gmail account    xxx@gmail.com    ) , asked me (like the previous guy said) for several questions to proof I payed for retik tokens and after 1 day , said it matches and I will be able to get a refund.

Now this guy askimg me for a fee (~ 280$) and after I pay that fee he say "we complete the process and inform you on the refund date and after 12-24hrs you will be payed with the refund.

Is that possible or am I being scammed here?
I sent an email to.blockchain.com asking them for validation of that guy (xxx@gmail.com) but still wait for their reply

The guy (on the telegram) told me that this guy use gmail and not blockchain.com email, because he is support agent

You most definitely have been scammed. No official account would reach out to you first and they will never use gmail. Hope you take this as a good and hopefully not too costly lesson to stay more vigilant, perhaps google around and get some insights before sending any amount of money to a random stranger in the wild west web. Also Retik is a scam project. Plenty of info out there.

The moment of having thoughts of the token of being scam, you should already stop communicating on the team behind that project and share awareness instead.
Because no one will refund you from that "scammed" project if their main purpose is to scam.

The time you were asked as for payment for refund is already suspicious. You should stop communicating via telegram if you don't know that the person you are talking with if the account is an official representative of the project because there are many impersonators in telegram crypto/project groups.

Based on your story written above, seems like you are got a scammed.
I had searching about that project, they Pre-sale like no make sense for me, such as leaning towards fake data and fake projects. and they social is leak active.

Usually support project is never DM you first, and you should verifying as real admin or moderator badge on telegram official.
They must be a scammer for catch you first, they email is not pointing as official contact suck @domainproject.com not @gmail.com

This is a strike one and you have already learned from this but, I'm sorry about your loss shem.

Strike two, someone who claims to help you and then asks for a fee definitely is a big no. And sadly, you've said that you paid for it, another loss from you.

It's a cycle that they're trying to do to you. First, you won't get any refund from investing into that token so just accept the loss and move on. But instead of doing that, you thought that these folks will refund you and you fall for them as they've seen you vulnerable and gullible. You're getting scammed likely again and please don't pay them anymore money.

99.99% this is a scam if you receive an offer to a random guy that PM you on telegram. There’s no service to manually withdraw your funds from the wallet who already received your payment. The blockchain only records and processes your transactions but there’s no way to retrieve funds if you don’t hold the private key or recovery seed of that specific wallet address.

I’m not familiar with Retik.com but you should always choose trusted launchpad next time to avoid being scam such as Bluezilla and other popular DeFi platform that offers launchpad.

You have totally been scammed I have fall a victim of such fraud but my was a bit different I met some random guys online they explained to me about investment so I decided to try it with just $10 from $10 I ended up losing almost $100

Then I learnt any company that claims to represent any trading company or exchange using gmail as means of contacting them is a scam

They will ask you to pay you will get refund once you successfully withdraw and you will get nothing after making the payment you will the person that has been giving you back to back attention to make payment will disappear after some hours

Once they are back they start giving excuses this happened your transaction was not successful you need to pay an extra fee you will get refund

They will keep referring you to other scammer who claims to be a pro to solve your problem and you will believe all the lie they will feed you and keep losing your hard earned money

The whitepaper was copied from RenQ Finance (yes that is a scam project either)
The team is anonymous
They provide a debit card but No require to do a KYC, and that is impossible because debit doesnt allow anonymous transaction.

Every staff who handle Live support/Email support must use the company email due to many reasons.
That guy on telegram just feed you to the another scammer. Check the post from Bigsharp above this post.

Do not believe with the "refund thing" they said that the token will be send after the end of the presale.
I think you will get the token but Im afraid "rugpull" will happen after that, because I dont see any future with this debit card project.

It is possible to get a refund in certain altcoin projects (its a rare thing but I've seen it happening) but if someone asked you to pay an additional fee in order for you to get your money back, then its certainly a scam attempt.

Don't send him additional $280 and consider that $100 you already sent as a lesson (and a cheap one I might add).

The moment you send a message to any project group, either Telegram or GitHub, and you get a DM from anyone claiming to be the project representative, just know that the person is a scammer. Project owners or representatives don't send DMs first; they will always instruct you to interact with them in an open manner. When it's a matter that could lead to privacy or personal information, you will be asked to DM them. Don't be surprised that the person who DMs has nothing to do with the project you invested in.
 
From what I can see here, you have been scammed by two parties: one by buying a fake token that cannot be traded, and the other by the scammer who claims to help you recover your lost invested funds that can't be recovered. 
 
My advice since you have learned about this forum is that before you dive into investing in any of such projects, you can bring the name and little details of the project here for others to check if the project is legit or not. Always do your research on anything that requires you to invest your money in it so as not to lose any more money in the future. Let it be a lesson for you to learn from.

Dude is not a question of whether it's a scam, you've been scammed twice. The first was when you bought a fake token and the second was paying $100 service fee in other to get a new token. The DM you got on telegram group was a scammer posing as an admin to scam you. Don't send another money and learn your lessons. Since you've already connected your wallet to retik(dot)com, I'd advise you revoke access to prevent further damage.

I can confirm what previous members have commented here: you have indeed been scammed twice, which is a definite result of not doing your own research first in choosing the project to invest your money in. Secondly, trusting someones who claim they can recover your funds is a false scam, as no one can recover your funds if you lose access to your wallet, mistakenly send your assets to someone, or invest in any project currency. Most strangers who initiate DMing you on messaging apps such as (Telegram, Discord..etc) are scammers.

From reading your story, it seems you are still a beginner in this field, so focus on educating yourself and gaining enough experience to avoid being scammed again in the future.

I did that so if anyone knows it, they will recognize it ans it will proove it was a scam.

This guy might see I mentioned his email and label it a potenial scam before it was prooven beyond a doubt

But one thing is for sure just like what we're telling you that you're likely to get scammed again by that guy. Are you thinking that you're the only one that he's talking to and this thread here is made by the person he's trying to scam? Why fear that it will labelled as a potential scam for which you already knew that he's trying to scam you?

We always make this suggestion and warning that before you make an investment on anything first engage in making research about them, first the exchange you said you make use is not that reputable, upon that, using a reputable exchange is never a guarantee assurance for not loosing your coin because they will state it on their policy for you s caution, they will not be held responsible for any trade or investment you made with anyone, they are only promoting the coin or token, you're only doing what you should have done in the first place at the last stage.

Congratulations OP, you've given them $380 for nothing, you definitely got scammed, you should've followed your instincts and not follow through their schemes, it's weird that they've been pestering you until you give in and that should've been the only red flag that you needed to know that they're not going to do anything good to you. May this be a lesson to everyone here, if it's too good to be true, it probably is.

I don't think there's any, even at any wallet they'll just show normal things that you're looking for, I get that you're still in denial but I'm telling you what others are probably going to tell, it's a scam and you've been had.
